Introducing Our Artists ‘Endless Summer’ is the debut exhibition for The Gallery by Fenton & Fenton.

The first of a series of art exhibitions to launch all over Australia, introducing artists to new audiences and art lovers to bold new art forms.

‘Endless Summer’ captures the essence of what it means to spend our Summer days by the Australian coast.

Ali Wood Summer is “Endless all about the long balmy days, sunburnt noses, cicadas, beach days with shimmering blue waters and sandy shores, barbecues in backyards, hot cars and cool beers, fun and sunny holidays.

Widely celebrated for her Australian landscapes and floral still life works, Ali Wood is always finding inspiration in her surrounding landscapes.

Based in Braidwood in the Southern Tablelands, she captures the essence of her environment accurately in her evocative works.

Andrea Shaw

process often begins “ My with a coastal walk accompanied by my sketchbook. The beach and bush areas all form most of the inspiration for my artworks.

A multidisciplinary artist, Andrea Shaw lives on the beautiful Victoria Surf Coast.

Inspired by the breathtaking landscapes on her back doorstep, Andrea’s painted works are abstract representations of the ever changing, vivid colour and forms within these familiar landscapes and beyond.

Anna Placidi studio is “My overflowing with flowers and birds nests from my daily adventures, as well as fabrics and vases I have collected over many years.

Anna Placidi’s work is a celebration of still life and moments captured in time. Inspired by the natural elements of her surrounding environment, Anna also reinterprets intricate embroidered patterns, textiles and porcelain that she collects from around the world combining them with everyday objects and flowers.

Abstract artist Carly Williams is based in the aesthetically rich, Daylesford. Her constantly evolving work reflects her obsession with all things raw, bold and beautiful. Carly’s paintings have been described as vivid and brash in colour and composition with a strong emphasis on rich texture and moody tones.

If you look “carefully at my artwork you will find small objects relating to my love of the ocean and its movement lines.

Born into a family of talented musicians, Casey Burrill learnt to express herself through art before she could walk. Based in Geelong, living near the ocean provides inspiration for her vibrant, textural works. Casey’s playful use of colour seems to dance on the canvas with a sense of freedom and movement.

With a childhood spent sailing the world abroad his family boat, the ocean runs in the artist Jai Vasicek’s veins and is a constant source of his creativity. His work draws inspiration from numerous cultures and bridges boundaries between classic and modern art and design.

Jasmine Mansbridge There is always “more room for curiosity and exploration in Summer. I spend the warm Summer nights painting, whilst reserving daylight hours for my loved ones.

Jasmine Mansbridge spent her early years living a nomadic lifestyle in Katherine in the Northern Territory, here, her love for creating was born.

Today Jasmine is based in Hamilton, her bold, geometric contemporary paintings are alive with vivid colour and energy and are a testament to her seriously outgoing personality.

Kristen Daniels recently found “I’ve the courage to create what I’ve been dreaming of, pushing the aesthetic with my perspex works and defeating some personal palette boundaries.

Abstract artist Kristen Daniels lives and works in Geelong. Her expressive style is defined by bold brush strokes which exude colour & vigour. Her recent works on perspex explore an unseen paragon, where what lies beneath the layers of a painting can be seen through a clean transparent surface.

Megan Grant dream of an endless “ISummer, I happily get swept up in the attitude shift that comes with longer days and balmy nights.

Megan Grant is an illustrator and maker of many things. Her love of colour, pattern and intuitive mark making inform her practice, as she works across many mediums and themes.

Endlessly inspired by rich colour palettes found in everyday life, Megan takes note and brings these ideas into her studio.
