AND THE WINNER IS…

The Quickslide team have become a little used to hearing that call lately, as it’s been a great year for picking up trophies, including that for the National Fenestration Awards (NFAs), at which they picked up the Vertical Sliding Window Company Award jointly with Bison.

But despite also picking up another prestigious title within just weeks of the NFA trophy, Quickslide MD Ben Weber says that such things are nice to have, but will never replace a commitment to start every day from scratch to be the best that the firm possibly can.

“I know it sounds like a cliché, but you’re only ever as good as your last day, last week, last month and whilst these awards are terrific for our staff to enjoy some recognition and a good night out, they know that we go back to work and do it all again,” said Ben. But that is just how the Brighouse-based firm became the leading producer of replacement vertical sliding box sash windows, after popularising this style of frame almost 20 years ago.

Today, the company’s Legacy sliding sash windows are closer than ever to being the perfect timber replica and as such are perfectly aligned with the homeowners’ passion for swapping their old draughty frames with the most authentic modern replacements.

In fact, Quickslide has now taken this balance between traditional style and modern performance a stage further following the changes to building regs earlier this year, by partnering with Glazpart to design an exclusive new trickle vent solution to ensure full compliance in a single sash window without compromising on that all-important traditional aesthetic.
