CASE STUDY
IRON WORLD PARTNERS WITH TROPIC FENCE, INC.
Tropic Fence, Inc. collaborated with Iron World Manufacturing to construct a massive project at the Visa Headquarters in Miami, Florida, earlier this year. This specialty high security, industrial aluminum fence and V-Track Slide Gate were designed and fabricated in Iron World’s Maryland facility. Iron World specializes in the engineering and construction of high security fence products, including our high security industrial aluminum Guardian Plus product line.
Guardian Plus is constructed of high-quality 6063/T52 aluminum and bended to a precise 17 degrees. Each picket is carefully hand crafted and processed in Iron World’s facility to meet and exceed industry standards and expectations. Working on a job of this magnitude is no easy task. Planning and coordination are key in making sure a job of this size goes smoothly all the way from the purchasing to manufacturing and finally, shipping and installation.
To give some background on Tropic Fence, they are located in sunny, Pompano Beach, Florida, and have been in business since 1984. Tropic Fence, Inc. is also a member of the AFA (American Fence Association) and ABC (Associated Building Contractors). They are a staple in the South Florida community and service the entire South Florida region. Moreover, they are experts in industrial/commercial installations. No job is too big or small for Tropic, as to date they have completed over 9,000 projects in the South Florida area and are looking to grow. Tropic Fence, Inc. specializes in a variety of industrial and commercial fencing applications, including high security and automated gates.
Correspondingly, Iron World has also had a long history of successful partnerships with respected companies in the fencing industry, according to Richard Stellabuto, president and CEO of Iron World. “I would like to thank Jim Allgire, the Project Manager of Tropic Fence, Inc., and the entire team at Tropic Fence for choosing Iron World Manufacturing as your trusted vendor on this unique Visa Headquarters project. Our entire team at Iron World was extremely grateful for the opportunity to work on an 1,800-square-feet industrial aluminum job. It is not every day you get a job of this magnitude that requires the entire team’s involvement. This is truly a team effort from start to finish. I also want to give a special thanks to our South Sales Manager, Lew Blastic, who was involved with the entire process of this special job. Hopefully, we can continue to work on more high-profile jobs with Jim and his team at Tropic in the future.”
