After being “benched” by COVID-19 for much of last year, team sports have made a big comeback in 2021. As players return to the field, facility managers remain focused on making ball parks safer than ever, including protection against accidental injuries involving chain link fences. Available in two styles, PDS® Safety Top Cap products offer outstanding visibility for outfield fencing, heightening safety in two important ways. First, each product’s unique design provides added protection against bodily injury by covering the exposed knuckles or barbs at the top of chain link fencing. Second, by significantly highlighting fence perimeters, players are more quickly able to spot boundaries when running to catch fly balls, helping to reduce the number of accidental fence collisions.

Pexco’s original Safety Top Cap™ offers a unique, tubular “P” shaped design that fits securely over the fence’s top rail, providing a smooth, flat surface on the front of the fence. Conveniently pre-cut into 8’ lengths, Safety Top Cap™ comes packaged with five pieces per bag and installs easily and requires no special tools. Pre-drilled holes make the insertion of hog rings quick and simple for secure placement.

Safety Top Cap-LITE® offers a more affordable, lighter weight version of the Safety Top Cap™ product. Featuring a teardrop shape, Safety Top Cap-LITE® comes in pre-cut 8’ lengths, is packaged with ten pieces per bag, and installs quickly and easily without any special tools. Pre-drilled holes make zip-tie insertion fast and simple for secure placement.
