Stephens Pipe & Steel

I grew up in Russell County, Kentucky. My rst job was working at a gas station washing cars at the age of 13. In 1974, I was going to college to be an accountant and took a summer job for a manufacturer of farm gates. I stayed on as their bookkeeper and that led to my introduction into the steel business. All these years later, I still enjoy coming to work every day and hope to continue until the Lord calls me home. I am proud to have started this company in a small town in southern Kentucky and watch it grow over the years. I am extremely proud that our customers have made us the largest American-owned and operated fence Manufacturer/Distributor in the USA. It all started with a single piece of pipe Today, we are the largest employer in the county with over 700 of the best employees in the world. We have more than 100 people that have been with us more than 25 years. We are proud of that. With more than 1,300 people around the country working at our 17 branch locations, we could not do what we do without them. I give thanks to my Lord and Savior for all our blessings.
