It all started with a single piec e of pipe I grew up in Russell Co
unty, Kentucky. My rst job was working at a gas station washing cars at the age of 13. In 1974, I was going to college to be an accountant and took a summer job for a manu facturer of farm gates. I stayed on as their book keeper and that led to my introduction into the steel business. All these years later, I still enjoy coming to work every day and hope to continue until th e Lord calls me home. I am proud to have started this company in a small town in southern Kentuck y and watch it grow over the years. I am extremely proud that our customers have made us the largest American-owned and opera ted fence Manufacturer/ Distributor in the USA.
Today, we are the larges t employer in the county with over 700 of the best employees in the wo rld. We have more than 100 people that have been with us more than 25 yea rs. We are proud of that. With more than 1,300 people around the coun try working at our 17 br anch locations, we coul d not do what we do with out them. I give thanks to my Lord and Savior fo r all our blessings.
