Overview
This year, the CBF General Assembly boldly sits on the shores of the St. Johns River in Jacksonville, Florida, and you’re invited to join Cooperative Baptists at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront for a week of learning, worship, inspiration and fellowship!
This summer, we will explore our call to a boldly faithful way of being Baptist—using our voices for prophetic witness, telling stories of mission and ministry impact and moving toward innovative ways of thriving.
Together as a Fellowship, we boldly listen to and learn from one another, we boldly send field personnel to serve, we boldly embrace innovative ministries, we boldly explore new ways of being and doing church. We celebrate the boldness of the first Christ-followers, the bravery of calling, and the hope that is found in being equipped with boldness in the Holy Spirit.
In June, Cooperative Baptists can expect familiar favorites, as well as a few new features that allow us to connect deeply, learn with intentionality and worship boldly.
One familiar favorite of the event will be our lively exhibit hall called The Gathering Place, which is always a hub of activity.
In The Gathering Place, event sponsors and exhibitors will interact with attendees, there will be parties in the aisles, podcast interviews will take place with notable guests, bookstores will be open for participants to peruse, Assembly first-timers will be welcomed with a gift and a CBF Global Missions experience and art auction will provide space to connect with field personnel from around the world.
In Jacksonville, The Gathering Place will be at the heart of the action, situated outside of Grand Ballroom, where we will gather for worship and plenary sessions.
