Graphic Design & Motion Design 24 Solar Terms of Tsinghua
清华园廿四节气 Media Center, Tsinghua University, 2020-2021
Motion Design The animation was created by cutting the original illustration up, filling up the voids, and finally compiling all the components in After Effects.
Graphic Design For each of the solar terms, I created a symbol. The features of the solar term itself and the features of Tsinghua campus were combined in the design. Besides, all edit and compilation work was done by me. The design of the themed postcards was done by me.

[1] Video compilation of all the animations, published by Tsinghua University official Bilibili account. [2][3] Series of designs on exhibition, 2021. [4] 110th anniversary postcards issued by Tsinghua University, 2021. Each of the ʻwallpapers’ and ʻGIFs’ was published by Tsinghua University social media accounts on the time of the solar terms, while the collaborative works were spreaded throughout the year.

User Interface Design Niannian You Xinyi
年年有心意 Media Center, Tsinghua University, 2019
Event Description Niannian You Xinyi was an new year celebration event held by Media Center, Tsinghua University at the end of 2019. People are invited to share to their social media 8 pictures of the Tsinghua landmarks they took, in order to take a draw to win the special prizes.
UI Design I was designated to the designer position, and given the artwork assets which was originally created for the prizes. It was my responsibility to rearrange and adjust the assets to create a user interface, introducting the event to the public and collecting their registration info.
Prototyping UI prototypes and demonstrations were made in Adobe XD. Aspect radios of typical mobile devices were considered when designing the interface, as is shown above.
Collaboration Web Developer: Yipeng Liu (undergraduate), Tsinghua University. Front-end assets for different client devices were provided to Liu. There were 2-3 rounds of feedback and adjustment in terms of user experience issues.
User Interface Design THU Mini Portal on Wechat
清华大学微主页 Media Center, Tsinghua University, 2020
Purpose As people were migrating to mobile SMS’ for official info, Tsinghua University was in need of a mini portal on its official Wechat account in order to redirect a large number of visitors to relevant sites. I was designated to the designer role in this project. The mini portal is still up and running on Tsinghua University official Wechat channel.
Information Architecture There were a great number of sites and social media account under Tsinghua’s banner, so it was necessary to catagorize and organize these entries with a well-designed information architecture. The final decision was to separate all social media accouts from the websites, while sites were divided into main site, academic services and others.
UI Design After preparing all the assets needed for the interface, I designed the layout of the mini portal.
Prototyping UI prototypes and demonstrations were made in Adobe XD. Display compatibility was considered.
Collaboration Web Developer: Xiaoyi Liu (undergraduate), Tsinghua University. Front-end assets for different client devices were provided to Liu. There were 2-3 rounds of feedback and adjustment in terms of user experience issues.

I was already very familiar with the qualitative as well as quantitative assessment of opitical lenses before I got the opportunity to review lenses for iRental Community.
Lens Review: Viltrox 23mm f/1.4 Sponsored by Viltrox and iRentals. Official publish: https://community.irentals.cn/content/1292 The second of the lens reviews had significant audio improvements as I found a better way to eliminates the environmental noise. And the length of the edit was shortened to about 4 mins with condensed information, as I realized short videos were more popular among the target audience.
