About Me

Born and raised in New Jersey, Felicia left the state to attend Howard University in Washington, D.C, studying Business Management. During this time in D.C, being a part of a community was essential to connecting with her background and roots. Through that, Felicia joined the Ladies of the Quad Social Club, where she hosted shows and events along with her colleagues for about 200-300 students.

After graduating, Felicia worked in the service and retail industry while obtaining a real estate license. Through these experiences, interest in interior design grew. In 2020, Felicia applied to the New York School of Interior Design MFA-1 program, graduating in 2023.

The kingston Suite

A MODERN JAMAICAN STYLE VILLA

It features an outdoor patio with an outdoor shower, a huge soaking tub, and luxurious interiors. The concept for my executive suite honors the concept of my hotel lobby, a bright, airy tropical oasis in Montreal. The concept for the Kingston suite extends its tropical design to incorporate a luxurious aesthetic. Located on the top floor of Le Tropicale, the most important feature of the suite is the Bronze metal stenciled palm leaves that bedazzle the ceiling with bronze beams that run the entire suite, an inspiration derived from The Bamboo Garden in China.

LE TROPICALE

A TROPICAL OASIS HOTEL IN MONTREAL

The design concept for Le Tropicale focuses on promoting a tropical paradise. There you are immediately transported to a tropical island once you enter. The idea is to create a sharp contrast to the outside weather conditions in Montreal. There will be plants classified as tropical, columns to imitate Palm Trees, and a bright, airy aesthetic to welcome guests in from the gloomy exteriors. I want this hotel to explore the various Caribbean cultures that are a part of the Montreal experience.

luxe dreams flagship

A Flagship Store bursting with grandiose class and beauty. LuXe Dreams creates a surreal dream-like experience, where luxury meets comfort. The design for LuXe Dreams Retail Store focused on luxe textures and an ethereal aesthetic. Drapery that was installed at ceiling height provided that light, airy, heavenly vibe, whereas the cloud like light fixtures catered to the dreamy aesthetic. The Reflected Ceiling Plans prove that connection between development and reality.

LUXURY CHEF’S KITCHEN

The design concept for this kitchen was based on the California aesthetic with wood beamed ceilings, arched doorways and expansive slabs of marble. Color was added to the space to really dramatize the kitchen. This luxury kitchen is used to try out new recipes and to entertain. Two ovens and a commercial stove was a must. This range is the crown jewel of ranges, the La Cornue Chateau Grand Palais 180 commands respect and admiration in any kitchen. This kitchen also required the latest kitchen appliances, like this Flamberge Rotisserie. This La Cornue rotisserie is a slow roast luxury. The Flamberge Rôtisserie can be a signature piece in any kitchen. It features strikingly upon a focal wall, where it is a window into a world of succulent slow-roasted meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables. Luxury at it’s finest.

Lotus Loom Birth Center

Lotus Loom Birth Center is a birth center that focuses on providing a beautiful, comfortable, and natural pregnancy to those who seek an alternative to the norm. The birth center focuses on supporting you through the birthing process and the process following, specifically supporting mothers that do not necessarily have support at home or through health insurance. Most importantly, we strive to provide a safe birthing process for all. The design concept of the Lotus Birth Center focuses on promoting a safe and healing environment, as well as meeting the physical, emotional, and mental needs of laboring women. Incorporating a Japanese aesthetic is important for creating a calming space with natural materials and natural light. Coupled with colors that promote healing, the Lotus Birth Center will be equipped with the best tools to safely deliver a newborn. We wanted the materials to be centered around clean, sustainable materials to promote a healthier experience.
