Hello, Gorgeous. To say that the last few months have been a whirlwind would be quite the understatement--is anyone else tired of the word, “unprecedented?” While COVID-19 has turned almost all aspects of life upside down, it’s with great pleasure that Synergy is reopening its doors at both locations for all services beginning June 1st. We’ve been missing our team, our clients and our patients dearly in our closure. With this new season comes some new changes to our standard policies and procedures! Take a look to learn about our protocols for reopening with your health in mind. All-in-all, we are incredibly grateful to be seeing clients and patients and we can’t wait to get you in. Giving back.
We are grateful that we’ve been in a position to help our community during this crisis. Here are some of the ways we’ve given back!
The most important meal of the day. With your help, we were able to raise over $5,000, translating to 2578 meals, for the Inter-Faith Food Shuttle! With schools being out, these contributions have helped feed children who rely on free school lunches for what is sometimes their only meal of the day.
Swag bag care packages. We also donated a variety of different skincare supplies to our Healthcare Heroes on the front lines! Anna put together many of these deluxe swag bag care packages to help relieve the discomfort of wearing a mask 24/7. We were able to ship them all over, from here in the Triangle, all the way to New York City! 5

Reopening with your health in mind. COVID-19 has impacted our community greatly. With our reopening, we wanted to inform you of some steps we are taking to minimize the risk.
Minimizing risk. Our safety and sanitation standards far exceed the minimum on a normal day, so you can rest assured that we are continuing to keep your health and safety in mind as we reopen.
Monitoring health. All team members will have their temperatures checked and be tested for COVID-19 antibodies.
Protective equipment. Our team will be equipped with protective gear for all interactions with clients.
Limiting interaction. Clients will be taken to their treatment room upon check-in, with no waiting inside. 7
Allowing for extra time. We’ve extended appointment times, and modified our hours to limit traffic and overlap.
Contactless payment. You may pay with your credit card on file with us or through an electronic invoice sent via text.
Tools of the trade. Many supplies are single-use only. Those that are not are being sanitized, as always, in a medical-grade autoclave
Regular cleaning. Workspaces, treatment rooms and common areas will be sanitized regularly each day.
Screening process. Our screening process ensures anyone who may pose a risk will not be exposed to our clients and team members.

Emily is a Physician Assistant (P.A.) who divides her time between the Emergency Departments of two rural, underserved hospitals in small towns south of the Triangle. Her commute to work is over two hours and she often works multiple night shifts in a row.
