UN PIED-À TERRE IN CALABRIA House in Rocca Imperiale La parola d'ordine è Trasformismo...ogni spazio è pensato quindi, in grado di cambiare, in modo di rendere il soggiorno adatto al numero di ospiti presenti. Sono state demolite le divisorie interne a favore di un grande open space e di una camera. Al loro posto è stata creata una quinta in grado di dividere la zona giorno da una più privata dove poter dormire la notte. La scelta dei materiali mira a evidenziare gli interventi fatti distinguendo grazie al rivestimento in gres le pareti preesistenti dalle nuove costruzioni trattate invece con finitura a gesso. Gli arredi sono pensati in tessuto grezzo in grado di trasmettere autenticità e per contrapporsi alla finitura lucida del vetroretroverniciato bianco caldo che connota l'arredo su misura che ospita i letti a ribalta e la cucina a scomparsa.

The watchword is Transformation: Every space is designed in order to make the stay suitable for the number of guests present.The internal partitions were demolished to create a large open space and a bedroom. A wing was created that can divide the living area from a more private one where you can sleep at night or watch television.The choice of materials aims to highlight the interventions made by distinguishing the pre-existing walls from the new constructions treated with a plaster finish thanks to the gres coating. The furnishings are designed in raw fabric able to convey authenticity and to contrast with the glossy finish of the warm white painted glass that characterizes the custom-made furniture that houses the folding beds and the foldaway kitchen

TREASURE FROM NOVECENTO Villa Edificata agli inizi del Novecento a Varallo ,la villa conta in tutto tredici vani disposti su tre piani ed è immersa in un parco secolare. Ogni ambiente è caratterizzato da ampie vetrate e soffitti alti e finemente decorati. L’intento progettuale è quello di creare un dialogo tra interpreti diversi della storia: la tradizione e le icone. Ecco che in ogni ambiente pezzi di design sono ospiti di un guscio senza tempo. gli spazi sono distribuiti in modo da calzare alle esigenze del vivere d’oggi. La grande sala di rappresentanza è stata trasformata in un living openspace in cui ospitare e godersi il calore del camino. Built in the early twentieth century in Varallo, the villa has a total of thirteen rooms on three floors and is immersed in a centuries-old park. Each room is characterized by large windows and high and finely decorated ceilings. The intent is to create a dialogue between different interpreters of history: tradition and icons.Everywhere pieces of design are guests of a timeless shell. the spaces are distributed to fit the needs of today’s living. The great diningroom has been transformed into an open space living room in which to host and enjoy the warmth of a fireplace.
the family is growing Private house in Varallo La volontà di questa giovane famiglia di unire due appartamenti adiacenti porta con sè una serie di richieste pratiche che costituiscono una bella sfida. La proprietà preferirebbe rendere la trasformazione “reversibile” nel caso in cui, nuove occasioni rendano necessario ricreare due unità abitative distinte; ecco quindi la richiesta di mantenere entrambi gli accessi nascondendo quello inutilizzato.
Si vorrebbero inoltre mantenere gli arredi della cucina appena acquistaati. Nell’ottica di soddisfare entrambe le esigenze e di creare un ambiente fluido e proporzionato rispetto alle nuove dimensioni dell’appartamento, si è pensato di creare un arredo che mantenendo i colori e i materiali della cucina entrasse a far parte del living assumendo funzione di dispensa e creando un armadio guardaroba; essenziale per l’ordine e molto pratico.
The need is to join two adjacent apartments ; brings with it a series of practical requests that constitute a great challenge. The property would prefer to make the transformation “reversible” in case new opportunities make it necessary recreate two separate housing units; so here is the request to keep both accesses hiding the unused one.They would also like to keep the newly purchased kitchen furnishings.
In order to satisfy both needs and to create a fluid and proportionate environment with respect to the new dimensions of the apartment, the aim is to create a furniture would enter in the living room connecting the existing part of the kitchen an the openspace. WINTER GARDEN Private house in Borgosesia Il progetto verte sulla richiesta di rivedere la distribuzzione degli ambienti nella zona giorno. La presenza si una grande vetrata caraterizzante l’intero lato del piano, nella fascia realizzata dalla chiusura di un antico balcone, ha fatto subito pensare a uno spazio da dedicare alla luce e al verde. Ecco quindi l’idea di un winter garden che diventa zona lettura e sala da pranzo. La preesistente cucina è demolita per creare uno spazio dinamico con un isola che faccia da filtro verso la zona tavolo. Il salotto si raccolgie intorno al camino preesistente ed è in grado di trasformarsi accogliendo ospiti. The project focuses on the request to review the distribution of the rooms in the living area. The presence of a large window characterizing the entire side of the floor, in the band created by the closure of an ancient balcony, immediately made us think of a space to be dedicated to light and greenery. Hence the idea of a winter garden that becomes a reading area and dining room. When a young family enthusiastically buys a traditional cottage that smells of history, all the beauty of living SMART begins to bargain with the rigor of “once upon a time”.And immediately low ceilings and small rooms disappear and give way to openspaces in the living area and become welcoming shelters on the first floor. The ground floor present the entrance on the wooden stairs, a kitchen with laundry area, bathroom and a living room with access to the veranda. In the kitchen, a door integrated into the furniture allows access to the laundry room, appliances and the entire cooking area, more storage and express order. The cumbersome presence of the volume hosting the bathroom is softened with a furnishing solution that incorporates it and creates a wing with a wardrobe serving the entrance and a large bookcase.

A new tale House in Varallo Cosa succede se una giovane famiglia acquista entusiasta una casina tradizionale in una piccola frazione che sa di storia? Succede che tutto il bello che c’è nel vivere SMART inizia a contrattare con il rigore del “una volta si faceva così”. E subito i soffitti bassi e le stanze a misura d’uomo spariscono e lasciano il passo a ambienti fluidi nella zona giorno e diventano rifugi accoglienti al primo piano. Il piano terra accoglie l ingresso sulle scale in legno la cucina con spazio lavanderia , bagno lavamani e un salotto con accesso sulla veranda. In cucina una porta integrata nell’arredocconsente l’accesso alla lavanderia, gli elettrodomestici e l intera zona cottura, garantendo ampio contenimento e ordine espresso. Ad esso si contrappone un volume basso per la zona lavaggio trattato in larice spazzolato. L ingombrante presenza del corpo dedicato ai servizi viene smorzata con una soluzione di arredo che lo ingloba e crea una quinta con un guardaroba a servizio della ingresso e una grande libreria.

revenant in design Terra-tetto in Varallo Il mio laboratorio, lo spazio dove crescere, sperimentare e giocare con la complicità delle persone che amo e che mi danno carta bianca. Una casa datata è trasformata costantemente non appena mi innamoro di oggetti che scopro in vecchi mercatini. Nulla va sprecato, tutto trova nuova vita e i rinnegati tornano in auge. Questo è quello che è successo per esempio a vecchie piastrelle rimosse dalla cucina e ridipinte a mano per diventare testata del letto o all’antico parquet recuperato da un castello della valle e trasformato in boiserie per sostenere la televisione e nascondere i cavi. Il classico esempio dove low budget non comporta affatto banalità e conformismo. My laboratory, the space to grow, experiment and play with the complicity of the people I love and who give me carte blanche. A given house is constantly transformed as soon as I fall in love with objects I discover in old markets. Nothing is wasted, everything finds new life and the renegades are back in vogue. this is what happened, for example, to old tiles removed from the kitchen and repainted by hand to become the headboard or all the old parquet recovered from a castle in the valley and transformed into boiserie to support the television and hide the cables. the classic example where low budget does not involve banality and conformity at all.
L'Invenzione del tempo Villa in Valdengo Grazie alla collaborazione con Crearlegno ho potuto prendere parte a questo ambizioso progetto e affinare le mie competenze rispetto al gusto di un tempo e al mobile fatto come una volta. Per questa villa di 1200mq abbiamo progettato i singoli ambienti andando a creare un connubio tra la bellezza del fatto a mano e le necessità di una casa smart, vivibile e attuale. Gli arredi integrano sistemi lift per gli
schermi led, presentano ante e soluzioni ad hoc per la permeabilità al suono e la possibilità di alloggiare sistemi dolby surround. Si adattano alle richieste di fruizione avanzate dalla committenza e del suo staff grazie a una attenta progettazione anche dei vani di servizio. Ogni dettaglio è realizzato su misura e artigianalmente :dall’anta, alle lampade dei bagni.
Thanks to the collaboration with Crearlegno I was able to take part in this ambitious project and refine my skills with respect to the taste of the past and the furniture made as it once was. For this villa of 1200sqm we have designed the individual environments creating a combination between the beauty of the handmade and the needs of a smart, livable and today’s home.
The furniture integrates lift systems for led screens, with doors and ad hoc solutions for sound permeability and the possibility of housing dolby surround systems. They adapt to the requests for use made by the client and his staff thanks to a careful design of the service rooms. Every detail is made to measure and handcrafted: from the door, to the lamps of the bathrooms.

L IMPERO DELLE BORSE Luxury armoire in Milan Creare un dialogo tra mobile in stile e soluzioni funzionali all’avanguardia: questa è stata la sfida nel realizzare questo manufatto dalla grande personalità. Inserti moderni in una cornice in stile Impero con contaminazioni neoclassiche, specchi anticati sul fondo, carta da parati sulle scocche per suggerire una prospettiva aumentata e maniglia in ottone con monogramma, sono alcuni degli elementi costruttivi adottati. A completare il tutto è stato integrato, a scomparsa, un sanificatore per l’eliminazione di virus, batteri e odori in modo sicuro e certificato. Nasce così un mobile che diventa il palcoscenico in cui accogliere la propria collezione di oggetti unici. Creating a dialogue between stylish furniture and avant-garde functional solutions: this has been the challenge in creating this product with great personality. Modern inserts in an Empire style frame with neoclassical contaminations, antiqued mirrors on the bottom, wallpaper on the shells to suggest an increased perspective and brass handle with monogram, are some of the constructive elements adopted. To complete the whole, a sanitizer for the elimination of viruses, bacteria and odors has been integrated, disappearing in a safe and certified way. The result is a piece of furniture that becomes the stage in which to welcome your collection of unique objects.
The client is a young family who leaves a small village for the larger Lyon without wanting to lose their habits and distort family dynamics. For the living area there is a large open-space characterized by an entrance equipped with wardrobes and comfortable spaces to change. These merge with the part of the kitchen dedicated to the columns. The environment includes a dining area and a sofa area with fireplace and low furniture that can shelter children’s games. The large corner bookcase, organized with boxes of different colors and essences, houses a secretaire where you can work comfortably on a laptop.

IN THE CITY BUT NOT TOO MUCH Private house in Lione La committenza è una giovane famiglia che lascia un piccolo borgo per la più rande Lione senza voler perdere le proprie abitudini e stravolgere le dinamiche familiari. Per la zona giorno si prospetta un grande Open-space caratterizzato da un ingresso attrezzato grazie armadi e comodi spazi per cambiarsi. Questi si fondono con la parte della cucina dedicata alle colonne. Competano l’ambiente una zona pranzo e una zona divani dotata di caminetto e mobili bassi in grado di ricoverare i giochi dei bambini. La grande libreria ad angolo, organizzata con dei box di diversi colori ed essenze, ospita una secretaire dove poter lavorare comodamente ad un pc portatile.

le dejeuner est servi' une Charcuterie en Provence Il proprietario di questa piccola gastronomia adora accogliere i clienti come fossero amici di sempre. Ha iniziato a reinvestire sull’immagine del suo locale e l’età dei banchi frigorifero è stata occasione scatenante per immaginare un’intervento su tutto il locale. Si tratta di un piccolo duplex al cui piano superiore trova posto il laboratorio gastronomico. L’attenzione è posta sulla tradizione, sulla volontà di trasmettere la genuinità dei prodotti serviti e acquistabili. La sfida è stata trovare il giusto spazio ad ogni necessità del proprietario il quale immaginava uno spazio di vendita, ma anche un luogo dove consumare comodi un pasto o un semplice caffè accompagnato da un buon dolce fatto in casa. The owner of this small deli loves to welcome customers as if they were friends of all time. He began to reinvest in the image of his restaurant and the age of the refrigeratorswas a triggering opportunity to imagine an intervention on the whole room. The challenge was to find the right space for every need of the owner who imagined a sales space, but also a place to consume comfortable a meal or a simple coffee accompanied by a good homemade dessert. WHEN TRADITIONS MEETs A TAG Restaurant in Valsesia Il progetto prevede la realizzazione di una nuova sala ristorante utilizzando gli ambienti ad oggi utilizzati a magazzino. La soluzione mira a valorizzare i materiali del luogo nella loro naturalezza e propone un’ambiente caldo e accogliente fedele al contesto mediante l’inserimento di un layout con panche a correre lungo la muratura. La creazione di un office e di una grande parete attrezzata per l’esposizione di vino realizzate entrambi con legno locale fiammato sono valore aggiunto alla qualità della sala. L’ambiente così valorizzatoarà in grado di ampliare maggiormente il target dell’attività e far sì che il ristorante, con i suoi nuovi spazi possa rivolgersi a una tipologia di utenze più variegata sviluppando attrattività per una clientela giovane e attenta ai trend. Tale tipologia di utenza, attiva sui social media e avente familiarità con il mondo della condivisione, fornirà una forma gratuita di pubblicizzazione dell’attività. The project involves the construction of new spaces for the restaurant using the rooms currently used as warehouse. The solution aims to enhance the materials of the place in their naturalness and proposes a warm and welcoming environment faithful to the context through the inclusion of a layout with benches to run along the masonry. The creation of an office and a large equipped wall for the wine display both made by local flamed wood add value to the quality of the room. The environment thus enhanced will be able to expand more the target of the activity and ensure that the restaurant, with its new spaces can turn to a different types of users developing attractiveness for one young and trend-conscious clientele.This type of user, active on social media and familiar with the world of sharing, will provide a free form of advertising of the activity.
The desire to return natural and personalized treatments made me think of the artisan’s workshop who carefully shapes each of his works. this concept has been refined by merging with the concept of the tea room and taking in the warmth of the Spa. The difficulty was to make technical needs dialogue with the search for a taste outside the box. The center consists of a reception area with reception, nails and make-up area to which we wanted to give the flavor of a real living room. two separate rooms host facial and body treatments and a reserved and intimate massage area. SKIN BOUTIQUE Beauty center in Quarona La volotà di restituire trattamenti naturali e personalizzati, mi ha fatto pensare alla bottega dell’artigiano che con cura modella ogni sua opera. questo concetto si è ingentilito fondendosi con il concetto della sala da te e prendendo il calore della Spa. La difficoltà è stata far dialogare esigenze tecniche con la ricerca di un gusto fuori dagli schemi. Il centro è composto da una zona accoglienza con recepiton, zona nails e trucco al quale si è voluto dare il sapore di un vero e proprio salotto. due sale separate ospitano trattamenti viso e corpo e zona massaggi riservata e raccolta. Il centro offre anche una zona dedicata ai trattamenti podologici e sauna agli infrarossi.

“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder” This famous phrase by Oscar Wild is the essence of this concept conceived for the autumn windows of Gucci. The project focuses on the theme of the xastagna hedgehog carefully protecting priceless treasures. In a riot of gold and mother-of-pearl, on a fabric background embellished with an inglesina design, there are curls made of golden metal and internally covered with a mother-of-pearl effect. These are equipped with a methacrylate top and perform the function of isplay for accessories. The idea of the wonder and preciousness of the gaze is conveyed in the mannequins which emphasize the shape of the eyes with golden eyelashes, always inspired by the chestnut hedgehog.

AUTUMN TALE Shopwindow proposal “La bellezza sta negli occhi di chi guarda" E’ questa celebre frase di Oscar Wild l’essenza di questo concept ideato per le vetrine autunnali di Gucci . Il progetto è incentrato sul tema del riccio della xastagna che protegge con cura tesori inestimabili. In un tripudio di oro e madreperla, su uno sfondo in tessuto impreziosito da un disegno ad inglesina trovano posto ricci realizzati in metallo d’orato e rivestiti internamente da un effetto madreperlato . Questi sono ddotati di un piano in metacrilato esvolgono la funzione di isplay per gli accessori . L’idea della meraviglia e della preziosità dello sguardo è resa nei manichini ai quali viene risaltata la forma degli occhi con ciglia dorate sempre ispirate al riccio di castagna. è

Tali entità si influenzano reciprocamente e nella loro unità sono in qualche modo attive. In questo contesto, al fine di sviluppare una coerente idea progettuale, si pone particolare attenzione all’accezione di: Sistema come Metodo.

ECATE' Short Film in Valsesia Per questo film fantasy abbiamo avuto la possibilità di lavorare nelle splendide cornici del Parco Naturale del Monte Fenera e presso il Museo Etnografico del Mulino di Mollia. la natura dei luoghi e la trama, piena di magia e rimandi ad antiche leggende ha stimolato un forte dialogo tra scenografia e fotografia e portato alla volontà di studiare per il set una luce diegetica fatta da candele. For this fantasy film we had the opportunity to work in the splendid frames of the Natural Park of Monte Fenera and at Museo Etnografico del Mulino di Mollia. the nature of the places and the plot, full of magic and references to ancient legends, stimulated a strong dialogue between scenography and photography and led to the desire to study a diegetic light made from candles for the set.

The request is to create a space dedicated to kindergarten, a multipurpose hall and a center for primary education. HUB4 community nuove scuole per la città San Vittore, realtà immersa nel contesto alpino che definisce il Cantone dei Grigioni si pone l’obiettivo di realizzare un nuovo complesso scolastico che non sia un mero edificio destinato all’educazione, ma che funga da centro e punto di incontro per la comunità. La richiesta è quella di creare uno spazio dedicato a scuola per l’infanzia, un salone polifunzionale e un polo per l’istruzione primaria. L’idea di partenza è quella di poter ben definire le tre diverse funzioni creando corpi distinti. Vista la determinante importanza e l’attualità del tema della condivisione e riconoscendo come gran parte della crescita individuale e della comunità passi attraverso di essa, si è voluto idealizzare un percorso evolutivo della società che grazie alla confronto delle esperienze, porta l’individuo a crescere da uno stato embrionale di aggregazione, identificabile con la scuola dell’infanzia, a uno stadio più definito richiesto dalla struttura dell’istituzione scolastica riconoscendo l’importanza dei momenti di incontro e confronto.
