L’importanza del contatto fisico The importance of physical contact

La pubblicazione I Maestri del Comfort è stata realizzata nel periodo appena precedente allo scoppio della pandemia COVID-19.

Da allora tutti gli equilibri sono saltati, le frontiere chiuse, le aziende bloccate e l’unico modo di interagire è diventato quello “virtuale”.

Questa emergenza sanitaria è stata un grande test per sviluppare nuove modalità di lavoro “Smart” a livello mondiale.

Tutti noi siamo ormai avvezzi alle video conferenze con il nostro pc o lo smartphone, ad esempio. Molte barriere fisiche sono state abbattute ma allo stesso tempo ci siamo resi conto dell’importanza del contatto fisico.

Stringere mani, abbracciare persone che non vediamo da tempo, condividere una tavola rappresentano molto più di una formalità. Significa decidere che ci fidiamo di una persona alla quale desideriamo dedicare una parte del nostro tempo perché ne abbiamo stima, affetto e interessi condivisi. In sintesi perché può portare benefici, morali o materiali, ad entrambi.

Allo stesso modo gli strumenti di promozione delle nostre tecnologie, come i Maestri del Comfort, sono sviluppati in modalità digitali molto più che in passato ma così come per un abbraccio anche per una pubblicazione è importante il contatto fisico, senza la quale il messaggio passa assai affievolito al nostro interlocutore. Non possiamo dire quanto durerà questa situazione ma sappiamo che torneremo a stringerci le mani ed abbracciarci nelle fiere e negli incontri di networking. Ed è per questo che abbiamo stampato i Maestri del Comfort. Per darvi appuntamento alla prima occasione in cui potremo di nuovo bere un caffè insieme.

The present issue, Masters of Comfort, was realized in the period just previous to the outbreak of COVID-19 Pandemia. Since then, all balances have been broken, borders closed, companies locked down and the only way to interact with one another has become the virtual way.

This sanitary emergency has been a great test for developing new Smart working ways worldwide. We all are by now accustomed to video conferences through our pc and smartphones, for instance.

Many physical barriers have been destroyed but we have realized the value of physical contacts at the same time.

Shaking hands, embracing people we have not being seeing for some time, sharing a table, are much more than formality.

It means deciding that we trust in a person to whom we wish to dedicate part of our time because we feel esteem and affection and share interests with him.

At the same time the means of promoting our technologies, such as Masters of Comfort, have been presently developed in digital ways much more than in the past. However, as for embraces so are physical contacts important even for an issue, without which the above message results very weakened to our readers.

We are not able to forecast how long this situation will go on, but we know that we will shake our hands and embrace one another at exhibitions and networking meetings once again.

This is the reason why we have printed Masters of Comfort.

For giving you appointment to the first occasion where we will once more be able to drink a coffee together.

We all rely on it.

Le tecnologie italiane per il comfort sono uno dei migliori esempi di ciò che l’industria meccanica italiana è in grado di fornire: si tratta di affidabili soluzioni di rinomate aziende, per problemi sfidanti ma attuali, presenti in tutto il mondo. I nostri prodotti rispondono ai migliori standard di qualità, sia nel domestico che nel building professionale e mostrano al tempo stesso innovatività e creatività così da offrire soluzioni sempre più sostenibili e smart.

Transizione energetica per il futuro comfort abitativo Presidente d’Ambrosio, cosa ne pensa di transizione energetica, efficienza energetica, digitalizzazione: sono questi i temi del presente per costruire il futuro?

Probabilmente tra questi temi quello focale è il primo.

Viviamo una emergenza globale di cui sembriamo non essere coscienti, limitandoci a parlarne a proposito di Greta o delle esternazioni di Trump, o, a livelli decisionali, con piani quale il PNIEC che a conti fatti lasciano il tempo che trovano, ma che mettono in pace la coscienza della politica e dei benpensanti. Se si vuole davvero realizzare la transizione energetica c’è bisogno di cambiare il modello, di intraprendere azioni che incentivino la decarbonizzazione, di passare alla condivisione delle risorse. Ormai parlare di Obiettivi dello Sviluppo Sostenibile è quasi una moda, ma quanti si adoperano per applicarli?

E quanti riescono a vedere che praticamente dietro ciascun obiettivo c’è, in maniera più o meno evidente, l’energia: la sua produzione, la sua distribuzione, la possibilità di accedervi? La democratizzazione dell’energia è alla base della transizione energetica, che a sua volta è la base del nostro futuro, non di un futuro sostenibile, ma di un futuro vivibile, in una situazione in cui le conseguenze del cambiamento climatico sembrano non lasciare spazi per l’ottimismo. È chiaro che in questo contesto l’efficienza energetica dell’edificio assume un ruolo centrale, considerato che il comparto edilizio è tra quelli che maggiormente consumano energia. Il settore dell’edilizia dovrebbe essere uno dei driver più importanti non solo per conseguire l’obiettivo dell’efficienza energetica, ma anche per diffondere l’innovazione tecnologica conseguita dall’indu-

stria nei settori dei sistemi HVAC e di quelli per l’involucro. La Direttiva Europea 844 del 2018 va proprio in questo senso, mettendo insieme per la prima volta temi che logicamente sono trasversali, ma che tradizionalmente sono considerati appartenenti a mondi diversi: l’efficienza energetica in edilizia, la mobilità sostenibile, la progettazione antisismica, l’utilizzo delle fonti rinnovabili, la qualità dell’ambiente interno e, appunto, la digitalizzazione. Questi temi trovano la loro sintesi negli NZEB, anch’essi soggetti a una evoluzione che ci sta portando a riconsiderarne le caratteristiche, in un percorso che li vedrà sempre più energeticamente efficienti. Ma la loro sintesi è anche il BIM, seppur costituito da una piattaforma, è lo è anche il Commissioning, che ancora purtroppo stenta a diffondersi, anche se rappresenta la vera rivoluzione della progettazione integrata. In questo contesto, la digitalizzazione si pone come elemento necessario dello sviluppo di una società in cui l’edificio diventa un elemento in grado di autoregolarsi ed entra a far parte di una rete in grado di scambiare dati con il mondo circostante. Il futuro della progettazione è questo, la creazione di una sinergia tra mondi che oggi non si parlano.

Ciò che non va assolutamente trascurato, ma che non viene preso in considerazione da alcuno strumento legislativo o normativo, è quello del fattore umano: solo con una adeguata formazione e informazione del cittadino sarà possibile raggiungere gli obiettivi della transizione energetica.

Tutti questi temi, dalla digitalizzazione all’importanza del fattore umano, dalla progettazione antisismica degli impianti alla qualità dell’ambiente interno, sono stati 6

I MAESTRI DEL COMFORT oggetto di attenzione di AiCARR in quest’ultimo triennio. Ovviamente non abbiamo tralasciato i temi tradizionali cui l’Associazione ha sempre dato attenzione, ma il Consiglio, che attualmente guido e che sto per lasciare a quello che verrà, ha fortemente voluto andare oltre, per presentare ai nostri Soci e a chi ci segue quelle che a nostro parere saranno le sfide del futuro.

Energy transition for the future indoor comfort Mrs. d’Ambrosio, what do you think about energy transition, energy efficiency, digitalization: are they the present matters for building the future?

Probably among the above items the basic is the first one. We live in a global emergency where we seem not to be conscious and limit to talk about Greta or Trump’s statements or yet - at an Italian institutional level of plans as PNIEC (Integrated Plan for Energy and Climate) which on balance does not change anything, but appeases consciences of politicians and conformists. If one really will carry out energy transition, it is necessary to change standards, to undertake actions which encourage decarbonisation, to share resources.

Up to now it is almost a fashion to speak of Goals for Sustainable Development, but how many strive to implement them?

In addition, how many manage to see that actually behind any goal, more or less clearly, there is energy: production, distribution, possibility to access it? Democratisation of energy is at root of energy transition, which in turn is the base of our future, not of a sustainable future but a liveable one, in a situation where effects of climate change seem not to leave space for optimism.

It is clear that in the above context energy efficiency of buildings plays an essential role, given that building sector is among the major energy users. Building sector should be one of the most important drivers not only for reaching energy efficiency goal, but also for disseminating technological innovation attained in both HVAC segments and building envelopes.

European Directive 844 2018 is just intended to do this, through putting together for the first time logically

transversal matters but traditionally considered as belonging to different worlds: energy efficiency in building sector, sustainable mobility, anti-seismic planning, use of renewables, quality of indoor environment and digitalization. The above items are synthetized into NZEB, subject as well to a development that is leading us to reconsider their features, in a path where they will be more and more energy efficient: they are also synthetized into BIM, even though consisting in a platform, and also into Commissioning, which is unfortunately experiencing difficulties in spreading but represents indeed actual revolution of integrated planning. In the above scenery, digitalization is the necessary element in the development of a society where the buildings are able to self-regulate and become part of a network for data exchanging with the outside world. The future of planning is therefore establishing a synergy between worlds that today do not speak together.

What is not to be neglected at all is the human factor which however is not considered by any legislative or standard means: only through a proper information of citizens will it be possible to attain goals of energy transition.

The above matters, from digitalization to the importance of the human factor, from anti-seismic planning of plants to the quality of the indoor environment were taken into consideration by AICARR in the last three years.

We did not neglect naturally traditional matters to which the Association has always been paying attention, but the Council I presently lead - which I am going to leave to the next President - has strongly wanted to go beyond, in order to present to our members and followers the ones that in our opinion are the challenges of the future.

Il Green Deal europeo e il contributo del comparto del comfort Nel suo discorso d’insediamento la Presidente della Commissione Europea, Ursula von der Leyen, ha dichiarato di voler far diventare l’Europa il primo continente neutrale dal punto di vista climatico entro il 2050 e di volersi spingere oltre rispetto agli obiettivi di riduzione delle emissioni, già fissati al 2030. Ne parliamo con l’ing.

Federico Musazzi, segretario di Assotermica, una delle associazioni della federazione ANIMA Confindustria maggiormente coinvolte da questa nuova sfida “verde”.

Questo scenario nasconde delle insidie perché diverse economie mondiali hanno ancora un’alta intensità energetica o vedono l’ambiente come un freno alle loro ambizioni di crescita. Per questo motivo il ruolo dell’Europa è ancor più di responsabilità e le politiche su clima ed energia, ormai imprescindibili, dovranno essere relazionate ad una crescita economica, sotto la pressione di un peso competitivo con grandi potenze mondiali che potranno avere interessi anche divergenti.

Ingegner Musazzi, come nasce il Green Deal europeo e quali sono i nuovi obiettivi?

Nel 2007, con il cosiddetto “Pacchetto Clima-Energia 2020”, l’Europa ha approvato per la prima volta una serie di misure coordinate in materia di energia, con l’obiettivo di crescere in competitività, considerando che a livello comunitario siamo il primo importatore di energia al mondo e abbiamo un differenziale di prezzi rispetto ad altri Paesi molto penalizzante. Successivamente sono stati fissati obiettivi ancora più ambiziosi al 2030 in termini di riduzione dei gas a effetto serra, taglio dei consumi e crescita delle rinnovabili e, più di recente, la Commissione europea ha varato un piano strategico che prevede investimenti miliardari a sostegno di un obiettivo di decarbonizzazione al 2050. Siamo pertanto nel mezzo di un percorso che parte da lontano e i cui impatti sociali e mediatici sono sotto gli occhi di tutti.

In uno scenario così complesso qual è il ruolo di ANIMA Confindustria?

Il Green Deal è ambizioso e potrà concretizzarsi solamente con una strategia che contempli tutti gli aspetti d’interesse, dallo sviluppo delle tecnologie alla loro effettiva penetrazione sul mercato.

Peraltro il comparto del comfort svolge un ruolo importantissimo perché è chiamato a raggiungere risultati enormi in termini di diffusione di tecnologie ad alta efficienza energetica e alimentate da fonti rinnovabili. Solo a titolo di esempio si pensi che oltre il 60% del parco edilizio ha più di 45 anni, ovvero è precedente alla prima legge sul risparmio energetico.

Il ruolo della Federazione è semplice e complesso allo stesso tempo. Dovremo essere in grado di accompagnare le nostre imprese verso questa transizione energetica, consapevoli di rappresentare un settore che ha tutte le carte in regola per continuare a essere leader nel mondo, con tassi di esportazione abbondantemente superiori al 50%. La sfida sarà anche quella di parlare a nuovi pubblici, non necessariamente tecnici, perché il problema spesso è di tipo culturale e bisogna far leva su una maggior consapevolezza dell’utente finale fino a farlo diventare “prosumer”, ovvero un soggetto attivo nella scelta del sistema più efficiente.

Crescita economica e riduzione dei consumi possono coesistere?

La Conferenza mondiale sul clima di Madrid di dicembre 2019 (COP25), che riunisce 196 Paesi, ha fallito nel cercare di trovare un’intesa sugli impegni per la riduzione dei gas serra e ha rimandato la discussione all’incontro di Bonn del prossimo giugno.

The European Green Deal and the contribution of the comfort branch In her inaugural speech, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, declared her intention to make Europe become the first neutral continent within 2050 as for climate matter and to go beyond the goals of emissions’ decrease, already set at 2030.

We talked about this with Mr. Federico Musazzi, Secretary of Assotermica, one the associations of ANIMA Confindustria Federation, which are more involved in the new “green” challenge.

In a so complex outlook which is the role of ANIMA Confindustria?

The Green Deal is ambitious and might be realised only through a strategy including all items of interest, from development of technologies to their actual market penetration. Thus, comfort branch carries out a very significant role, required for attaining huge results such as dissemination of high energy efficiency technologies from renewable sources. For example, only 60% of building stock is more than 45 years old, that is previous to the first law of energy saving. The role of Federation is easy and complex at the same time. We should be able to lead our companies toward the above energy transition, aware to represent a sector with all credentials to be still leader in the world, with export share exceeding 50%. The challenge will also be addressing to new audiences, not necessarily technical ones, since the problem is often cultural and it is necessary to count on greater end users’ awareness, so to make them become ‘prosumers’, that is active subjects in choosing a more efficient system.

Mr. Musazzi, how is born the European Green Deal and which are the new goals?

In 2007, through the so called “Climate action and renewable energy package 2020” did Europe approve some common measures in energy field aimed at growing in competitivess. As a matter of fact, we are the first energy importers worldwide and our price differential is heavily penalizing in comparison to other Countries. Afterwards, more ambitious goals have been set to 2030 as for greenhouse gas reduction and growth of renewables. More recently, did European Commission launch a strategic plan requiring multi-billions’ investments in support to 2050 decarbonisation goal.

We are thus at midterm starting from afar and social and media impacts are for all to see.

May economic growth and consumption decrease coexist?

World Climate Conference held in Madrid in December 2019 (COP 25) gathering 196 Countries, failed in reaching an agreement as for greenhouse gas reduction commitments and postponed discussions to Bonn meeting next June. The above scenario hides some threats since many world economies are still high energy-intensive or see the environment as restriction to their own growth ambitions. This is the reason why both Europe’s role requires more responsibility and the political measures on climate and energy matters, now unavoidable, will have to be related to the economic growth, under pressure of

In the National Integrated Plan for Energy and Climate a long term strategy is included in order to support renovation of national stock of both residential and non-residential buildings, public and private, so to get a decarbonized high energy efficiency building stock within 2050, and to help cost-effective transformation of existing buildings into buildings with almost zero energy. The above strategy will undergo – after processing, public consultation and results of this will be included, synthetically, into the final version of the strategy itself. During implementation of the strategy public consultations are periodically carried out in order to evaluate updating of the document.

Mr. Prati, toward which sectors does the activity of Aqua Italia members develop?

They produce plants and components for primary waters treatment in residential, sanitary, commercial, Ho.Re.Ca, aqueduct and industrial sectors.

Quali soluzioni sono preferite per l’acqua del rubinetto?

La scelta dipende dalle caratteristiche dell’acqua e necessità del cliente. Nel portale AQUA ITALIA per i consumatori www.acquadicasa.it i vantaggi delle varie soluzioni impiantistiche.

I dati della nostra ricerca sulla propensione al consumo di acqua di rubinetto ci dicono che la caraffa è il prodotto più diffuso, seguito da microfiltrazione, osmosi inversa e frigogasazione.

Nella ristorazione bere acqua microfiltrata è un’abitudine, ma la domanda di questi sistemi cresce anche negli ambienti di lavoro, scuole, palestre.

What solutions are preferred for tap water?

The choice depends on characteristics of water and customers’ requirements. Benefits of plant solutions are listed in the portal AQUA ITALIA for consumers www. acquadicasa.it. Estimates of our survey on attitudes concerning tap water consumption say that carafe is the most widespread product, followed by microfiltration, inverse osmosis and carbonation fridge.

In catering drinking micro filtered water is an habit, but request for the above systems is growing also in the workplaces, schools, gyms.

Perché è importante il trattamento dell’acqua per la climatizzazione efficiente degli edifici civili e industriali?

Una buona qualità dell’acqua previene incrostazioni e fanghi che possono depositarsi nei circuiti idraulici inficiandone l’efficienza. Intervenire con un adeguato sistema di trattamento dell’acqua come filtrazione, condizionamento chimico o addolcimento non solo è necessario ma può consentire un risparmio energetico in termini di efficienza della resa termica dell’impianto di oltre l’8/10% per il circuito di climatizzazione e del 18/20% per la produzione di acqua calda sanitaria.

Why is important water treatment for efficient airconditioning in civil and industrial buildings?

A good quality of water prevents from fouling and mug which may deposit into hydraulic circuits so affecting efficiency. Intervening through an adequate system of water treatment as filtration, chemical treatment or softening is not only necessary but may allow energy saving as for efficiency of thermal performance of the plant by over 8/10% for air-conditioning and 18/20% for sanitary hot water.

It is appreciated in all markets for the high quality level, reliability and technological excellence of products, especially hydronic systems. Above factors allow Italian industry to keep good export standards.

Qual è a suo avviso il settore più dinamico del mondo della climatizzazione?

Un ruolo fondamentale viene svolto sempre di più dalle pompe di calore. È un settore in cui è presente un’industria locale molto preparata e capace che può garantire ricadute positive in termini di investimenti e di creazione di posti di lavoro.

Which is in your opinion the most dynamic Italian sector of air-conditioning?

An essential role is played more and more by heat pumps. It is a branch where very qualified and skilled local industry is settled and may grant considerable spin-off effects both for investments and news jobs.

Può definire il ruolo attualmente svolto da Assoclima?

Nel corso degli anni l’Associazione si è posta una serie di obiettivi, la maggior parte dei quali raggiunti con successo, contribuendo così alla valorizzazione del comparto.

Assoclima non solo collabora costantemente con tutta la filiera produttiva, ma partecipa attivamente ai lavori di numerosi comitati e associazioni europee.

Can you define the present role carried out by Assoclima?

In the years the Association has been setting itself some goals, most of them successfully achieved, so contributing to the branch enhancement. Assoclima not only cooperates with the whole supply chain constantly, but takes part actively to the working activity of many European committees and associations.

Il prodotto italiano è riconosciuto all’estero per la sua elevata qualità e per i prezzi competitivi, le imprese sono solide e con oltre l’80% del loro fatturato destinato all’estero contribuiscono in maniera importante alle esportazioni italiane.

Our companies set overall among the first five manu­ facturers worldwide. Italian products are acknowledged abroad for the high quality and competitive prices, companies are reliable and contribute significantly to Italian export through over 80% turnover intended abroad.

Deriva soprattutto dalla sua grande capacità di innovazione. In questo il rapporto con Assopompe ed Europump è fondamentale, perché permette di portare la voce dei costruttori sui tavoli di lavoro europei dove si definiscono gli aspetti normativi e i criteri di efficienza energetica.

To which causes is due the good health of the sector?

It is caused above all to its great innovation capacity.

Concerning this, relation with Assopompe and Europump is essential, because it allows to bring the voice of manufacturers to European working tables where normative items and energy efficiency aspects are defined.

Quale attenzione viene riposta per la tutela dell’ambiente?

Le pompe sono state tra i primi prodotti interessati dalla legislazione europea Ecodesign, al fine di eliminare dal mercato quelle meno efficienti. Sono state regolamentate le pompe per acqua e le pompe di circolazione e ora si sta lavorando all’introduzione del concetto di Extended Product Approach, convincendo il legislatore ad analizzare il rendimento dell’intero sistema pompa-motorecontrollo, dal quale si possono ottenere risparmi energetici significativi. Si deve poi analizzare il sistema di pompaggio affinché pompe efficienti siano installate in sistemi efficienti. Questo è il System Approach, che può portare fino all’80% il risparmio energetico dell’intero sistema.

Which kind of attention is given to environment protection?

Pumps have been among first products involved in European Ecodesign legislation, in order to remove less efficient ones from the market. Water and circulation pumps have been regulated and now the concept of Extended Product Approach is in progress, so that legislators are considering to analyse performances of the whole system pump-engine-control, through which significant energy savings can be obtained. The pumping system should be analysed as well so that efficient pumps be installed in efficient systems. This is the System Approach, which may attain up to 80% energy saving of the whole system.

Ingegner Montanini, qual è l’approccio multitecnologia di Assotermica?

L’approccio nasce da una considerazione che si è consolidata nel tempo e che oggi costituisce il punto di forza dell’associazione: il panorama edilizio è eterogeneo e non esiste la miglior soluzione tecnologica in assoluto.

Avere alle spalle un’industria nazionale con una vasta gamma di offerte – dalle tecnologie a gas a quelle ibride fino all’elettrico – è un vantaggio e ci consente di affrontare la transizione energetica con relativa tranquillità.

Mr. Montanini, what is the multi-technology approach of Assotermica?

The approach derives from a consideration rooted in time and which is today the strength point of the Association.

The building scenario is heterogeneous and there is no better technological solution. It is a real benefit having behind us a national industry with a wide offer range – from gas technologies to the hybrid up to electric – which allows us to face energy transition with some confidence.

Cosa serve alla nostra industria per continuare a competere ai massimi livelli?

La risposta è semplice ma richiede il massimo impegno da parte di tutto il sistema, incluso ovviamente il mondo industriale. Serve una pianificazione di medio e lungo periodo che non si fermi solo a quanto definito nel PNIEC; bisogna attuare provvedimenti sostenibili e con una visione strategica illuminata. In questo senso possiamo offrire un contributo al Legislatore, grazie all’approccio pragmatico tipico della nostra industria.

What does our industry require in order to be still competitive at the highest level?

The answer is simple but requires utmost effort from the whole system, naturally included the industrial world. A medium and long period planning is required, which does not be limited to what defined in PNIEC; it is necessary to implement sustainable measures with overall strategic vision.

Nel contesto della decarbonizzazione sostenibile state facendo un grande lavoro sui gas rinnovabili. È corretto?

Sì. Riteniamo che oltre a un’innegabile (e auspicabile) processo di elettrificazione ci sarà anche un impulso allo sviluppo dei gas rinnovabili, in particolare l’idrogeno. Per questo stiamo facendo un lavoro tecnico e di advocacy per indicarne le potenzialità nell’ambito del riscaldamento. Abbiamo un’infrastruttura gas capillarmente presente sul nostro territorio e questo non potrà che aiutarci.

Within sustainable decarbonisation you are carrying on a great activity on renewable gasses. Is it right?

Yes. We maintain that beyond undeniable and desirable electrification process a boost to development of renewable gasses, in particular hydrogen, will take place. For this reason we are doing a technical and advocacy work in order to point out potentialities within heating sector. We have a gas infrastructure widespread in our territory, which will certainly help us.

Ugo Pettinaroli is both CEO of Pettinaroli SpA Group and President AVR, the Association of valves and fitting manufacturers. He was also president of CEIR, the European Committee for Industry of Taps. We thus asked him some questions.

Presidente, ci spiega il perché del successo dell’industria italiana della rubinetteria e valvolame?

Valvole e rubinetti italiani sono apprezzati ed esportati in tutto il mondo, grazie alle caratteristiche tecnologiche, al valore aggiunto del design e all’alta qualità. L’esperienza e la solidità delle aziende, la flessibilità operativa e la presenza globale sono caratteristiche apprezzate dalla clientela e rendono i prodotti italiani molto competitivi. Le aziende non si fermano davanti alle nuove sfide e investono per far fronte alla continua innovazione tecnologia e all’evoluzione dello scenario legislativo nazionale ed europeo, per migliorare sempre di più l’offerta di prodotti e servizi.

Mr. President, may you explain us the success of the Italian industry of valves and fittings?

Italian taps, fittings and valves have always been esteemed and exported worldwide, thanks to their technological features, to the added value of design and high quality.

Experience and soundness of companies, operational flexibility and global presence are appreciated aspects by customers and make Italian products very competitive.

Companies do not stop before challenges and invest in order to face ongoing technological innovation and developments of both Italian and European legislative scenario, in order to improve more and more the offer of products and services.

Qual è il ruolo che sta svolgendo AVR? Il 2020 è un anno importante, con molte novità all’orizzonte in ambito legislativo che impatteranno sulle scelte strategiche delle aziende.

AVR in Italia (e il CEIR in Europa) continua a essere il punto di riferimento del legislatore nella definizione della regolamentazione del mercato e per supportare le aziende nelle proprie attività. Fra i molti progetti in agenda, segnalo il “Water Label” della rubinetteria sanitaria e la promozione delle valvole termostatiche e di bilanciamento negli edifici “green”.

Which role is AVR playing?

2020 is a significant year, carrying many novelties in the legislative field which will affect strategic choices of AVR companies. AVR both in Italy (and CEIR in Europe) is still the reference point for legislators in defining market rules and supporting companies in their own activities. Among the many scheduled projects, I do note “Water Label” of sanitary taps and fittings and promotion of thermostatic valves and balancing valves in green buildings.

At the vanguard of transcritical compressor Officine Mario Dorin SpA began the production of refrigeration compressors back in 1932, even though it had been founded in 1918 by Mario Dorin, an electromechanical technician, with a passion for mechanical machining. Il progetto H2020 HARP (Heating Appliances Retrofit Planning) intende promuovere l'uso di impianti di riscaldamento più efficienti.

HARP svilupperà un'applicazione che illustrerà ai consumatori l'efficienza del loro apparecchio di riscaldamento, le alternative e gli incentivi a disposizione per pianificare una riqualificazione energetica.

Perché è importante?

Il riscaldamento e la produzione di acqua calda rappresentano l'80% della domanda energetica delle famiglie dell'UE e l'84% di questa energia è ancora generata da combustibili fossili.

Purtroppo, la maggior parte delle persone pensa al proprio impianto di riscaldamento solo quando si rompe!

Assotermica is working with the European Commission in order to improve the energy efficiency of heating systems and decrease the environmental impact in Italy and Europe.

H2020 Project "HARP - Heating Appliances Retrofit Planning" aims to motivate consumers to plan and replace their old and inefficient heating systems with a modern solution, combining energy efficiency and renewable sources.

HARP will develop an application providing consumers with an indicative assessment of the performance and costs of their installed heating system and accompany them in the replacement process, informing about efficient alternatives, benefits and support schemes.

Why is it important?

Heating and hot water represent 80% of the energy demand of EU households and 84% of it is generated from fossil fuels.

Unfortunately, most people think of their heating system only when it breaks!
