Upcoming Events Shakespeare in the Park comes back to Pike & Rose and Westpost! ●

Westpost — April 1st at 6pm, 2nd at 6pm, and 3rd at 2pm on the Plaza in front of Mattie & Eddie’s

Grassroots Shakespeare DC will be back on the plaza at Westpost performing Much Ado About Nothing.

Pike’s Peek 10k – April 24 Montgomery County’s premier racing event, the race starts at Shady Grove Metro Station and finishes on Rose Avenue in front of Canopy by Hilton.

Upcoming Events The Light Tunnel at Westpost April 8th - April 23rd “THE LIGHT TUNNEL: A LIGHT AND SOUND EXPERIENCE” will debut at Westpost. This installation is free and open to the public from 9am-9pm daily.

This immersive audiovisual installation expands the art of attention and connection creating an exhilarating out-of-body experience unique to each individual. The custom quasi-rectangular space creates a boundless immersion of light and sound where sound can be seen and light can be heard. The sound frequencies generate light in real time, in synchronization. The name is a play on the light at the end of the tunnel

Upcoming Events Maker’s Market at Westpost Sunday’s - May 1st, May 15th, & May 29th Westpost is excited to host their first Makers Market this spring. Notable local artists and makers will be at the Plaza every other Sunday in May.

Westpost Merchants: Take advantage of the additional foot traffic to the neighborhood. ● Retailers, open your doors and bring your merchandise outside. ● Restaurants, open your patios, offer a special sip&stroll drink or cocktail, or consider featuring a special menu.

Rockville Arts Festival May 7-8 VisArts will be hosting their 10th Annual Rockville Arts Festival. This free outdoor event will feature more than 130 artists showcasing their one-of-a-kind creations.

Spring 2022 Marketing Campaign February - April Last year’s DC Metro Marketing campaign focused on finding small moments of celebration and joy in “Treat Yourself”. This year, we’re turning the volume up with “Everything You Want”—from a fresh new wardrobe, to a must-try new restaurant—and all of the wants in between.

New “Want” collateral landed in shopping centers and neighborhoods as well as on-line this week. In addition to on-site signage, the campaign will also show up digitally via pad social media (Facebook & Instagram), as well as ads on Spotify and Google Local. If you catch an ad on any of these platforms, please share with us!
