KTB E-DISTRIC BKK,THAILAND 2016 Type: Pedestrain Skywalk Advirsor: Assoc. Prof. Santirak Prasertsuk Team : Dolyagritt Wongkom My role : Conceptual design, Planning, 3D modeling, Communication graphic design.

The main purpose of this pedestrian skywalk project is to connect KTB SUKUMVIT Bruch and KTB NANANUE. However, many stakeholders are involved for instance luxury hotels, offices, shopping malls, and commercial buildings. Therefore the perdestrain is not only like between banks but also connects between BTS Phloen Chit station and Nana station. this leads to the advantage of usage for context surrounding. KTB has been realizing sustainable growth since they have launched its vission and mission concepts. For vision “Growing Together for Sustainability”, enhancing capabilities of employees to support growth and prosperity for customers, enrich the quality of society and environment, as well as provide sustainable returns for our shareholders. For the mission “To empower better life for all Thais” the Bank is committed to developing financial technology and innovations through the Thailand Digital Platform to improve the quality of life of people and all groups of customers in various dimensions, such as creating learning opportunities for people, reduce disparities in access to the fundamentals of the digital economy and gaps in the distribution of income in society for people, as well as working to develop Thai society towards a digital society and a cashless society and aiming to create financial equality for Thai people, such as opportunities to access funding sources, financial literacy, fundamental rights for government services, and income equality for people to support the achievement of the Bank’s new mission.

CONTEXT & ISSUES

SITE

There are many stakeholders, however, the main Nana district has been the destination of tourist which result in various type of people and activities during the day and night time. There has been a lot of traffic around this area, we found that there are some urban drawbacks issue which are crowding, stress, dust and noise pollution, dark spots (unsafety), and lack of green space.

URBAN ISSUE +ENERGY CONCEPT

According to KTB's mission and vision, we have designed regenerative energy for pedestrians by using passive and active energy. For active energy, we have designed piezoelectric panels for spaces such as partway, energy field, and energy playground. This provides free energy, green space, fresh air, light, and safety to urban users. The concept is that KTB provides space for the user, and the user generates energy for others. It is an endless giving that is related to KTB's mission, vision, and sustainable growth concept.

PASSIVE & ACTIVE REGENERATIVE ENERGY DIAGRAM ACTIVE People who walk, play, and dance. in a generative field will be generated electric energy by the piezoelectric that we have designed on the floor.

PASSIVE we attached solar panels on each cover way to generate free energy for users and designed a green filter in traffic juction in order to provide fresh air.

PIERRE CURIE a man who invented peizo electric

There are four main zones that we have designed and applied a piezo-electric to generate energy for users. The most electric output is the energy plaza in the show zone, where there are a lot of activities occur. For the relaxation zone, especially in “Energy For-Rest” located in the node of Nana district, we have to provide open green space not only to obtain fresh air but also to report surrounding information like news, pollution status, etc. For learning concepts, we design interactive galleries for users. Moreover, in the play zone, visitors can enjoy dancing that encourages relationships between others to make better communities.

There is an open space connected to the commercial mall, our idea is to create an enjoyable space for visitors to play with others. These also can provide energy by dancing on piezoelectric pavement.

ENERGY FOR-REST (RELAXING ZONE) There is a lot of traffic in this Nana node, we design green space for visitors to relax and obtain fresh air while receiving the city’s information.

KTB HEADQUATER BKK,THAILAND 2016 Type: Office Building Advirsor: Assoc. Prof. Santirak Prasertsuk Team : Dolyagritt Wongkom My role : Conceptual design, 3D modeling, (BIM), Communication graphic design.

This project is a new office building of "Krungthai" bank. They required a new office building space connected to the old bank office. In this building are not involved in money storage. Their objectives are mainly focused on solving issues from the traditional workplace in common office buildings in the past and represent their mission & vision called “Growing Together for Sustainability” Enhancing capabilities of employees to support growth and prosperity for customers, enrich the quality of society and environment, as well as provide a sustainable return for our shareholders. From the requirements, we had a concept idea that was called “Re-arranged historical building” We focused on analyzing the characteristics of KTB buildings. So we analyzed the first KTB building and recent modern buildings and re-arranged them by deconstruction building elements such as window openings, and building facades. Plus in order to enhance the capabilities of employees, we focus on developing their workplace. We have researched traditional workplace issues and we found that designing a blocked partition layout can cause stress and depression and these will impact work results. In modern workplace design, we realize that everyone should enjoy working, so we provide a livable workspace, an eco-friendly environment, and a relaxing space in which everyone can take a nap, get rest, or communicate with others during the break period. our main highlight concept mainly focuses on the modern workplace that is different form the traditional workplace. In order to provide a variety of spaces we chose an un-typical floorplan technique which we inspired by Le Corbusier's architect about the relationship between urban, street, and building. we bring horizontal street space into vertical buildings by connecting every floor plan together. we have designed are connected green space for every floor which means everyone will be working together without separating this also represents equalities in the workplace.

PREVIOUSE KTB BUILDING

MASS TRANSFORMATION With the re-arranged concept, we have studied building traditional elements from the krungthai bank building from the original to the recent building. We have found outstanding elements and integrated them into our building. Moreover, for the vertical facade we designed, we block southwest sunlight which is the hottest side to help reduce the afternoon temperature that results from direct sunlight. However, on the opposite side facade provides a view for the worker.

CONCEPT STUDY STRUCTURE SYSTEM

CONNECTED WORK FLOOR building section

For this main highlight function, we tried to break the rule of a common typical multi-story work floor into a connected work floor. It is because this method provides a sense of realation between worker organization, Perception. This space created an urban street vibe and also provided green space to encourage workers to relax and communicate with others. These could result in better work.

BUILDING FUNCTIONS

First floor plan

Second floor plan

The First floor is a common reception function including a service area. The low zone is a semi-public facilities area that allows customers and workers from linked buidling visit all zone. From the bottom(G FL.) to the top(9 FL.) there are coffee shops, a library, a canteen, an exhibition, a museum, and an auditorium. According to “Growing Together”, Theses functions not only provided for customers but also promoted the mission and vision of the bank.

MODERN WORKPLACE The high zone are office zone. we designed an un-typical floor plan pattern to arrange each because our connected work spaces are rotated as a spiral around the building resulting in different types of workplaces. we obtain various types of work desks for instance individual desks, group working desks, untypical shape desks, and resting areas where worker can relax during their break time or after finishing work. Moreover, the common office function remains such as the meeting room, and director room.

Kandai, Thammasat, and Chiangmai University collaborated on this Seminar. This project requires that an exhibition be designed on an actual WWII bombed site. During the workshop, a number of activities were carried out, including site study, teamwork, construction drawings, 3D modeling, model creation, and information sharing. Consequently, we made the decision to design an underground show that mimicked the true explosive time of 8:15. The plaza in front of the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum has been selected as our location.

The site context was surrounded by trees, and located beside the main office building. The owner required meetings & entertainment eco-workplace which prioritized environmental considerations. I have contributed to designs that mainly focus on passive cooling systems, optimized natural light, and preserved existing trees on site leading to a sustainable workplace. Kanchanaburi has a hot and humid climate. To reduce thermal heat, the building was oriented to avoid direct sunlight, and a double wall was created on the south facade. Plus an advantage of this site is that there were a lot of trees filtered direct sunlight and I have designed a skylight in order to provide natural light all day. In this project, I took responsibility for design and project management. Although working as a solo architect designer was difficult for me at first, I have gained a lot of architectural skills, including understanding more design concepts, communication & negotiation with stakeholders, project management, and time management.

Type: Landscape Client: Mr. Anu Thongdee (Director of Radio Thailand Kanchanaburi) Team : Individual My role : Designer, Project management.

With a sustainable concept, the owner requires recreation space for visitors and workers. he believes that a cheerful mindset could produce better output and lead to a liveable organization. An overall route is a looped garden. In the welcome garden, we have chosen a wall plant shape to create a leading line to the building and also designed colorful ground cover plants as a transition to the main garden. Coffee in the garden space is the main function that allows visitors to sit and communicate with others. there was a sculpture element surrounded by purple bushs that have been an image of this organization. events space were provided for gathering which might occure. In addition, when visitors passed through a tunnel space, there were edible organic gardens that workers could harvest and cook for their meals. finally, for the entrance, I have designed a pavement pattern inspired by a radiowave which represents to image of the organization.

This renovation project requires kitchen and dining space in English cottage style. Due to the owner having a baby, This project should be finished in 2 months, we created a partition between the construction site and the living room. As a solo architect that quite challenging for me to work on time and I have set a perfect schedule suitable for the situation. There were three construction teams that I arraged for this project. Each team was specialized in their field resulting in better time management.

PUNPOL RESIDENT UBONRACHATANI ,THAILAND 2021

This house was designed by the owner who works in an engineering company. Therefore he placed a staircase on the back of the house which led to a disconnected floor plan. For my development process, I kept his existing design outline that required a lot of bedrooms. However, I have adjusted the middle stair hall to create a common space between two floors for owner activities and designed an opening facade that provided better ventilation and indirect natural light. Including interior design, construction detail, and facade design.
