Faithfulness in Action

2016 ANNUAL REPORT

Of all the faithful people in the bible, Moses was definitely on the top of God’s faithful list! Leading people verbally when eloquent speech wasn’t his strong suit, taking a new bride to a foreign land, continually leading and being available for people that were ungrateful and grumbly in their current circumstances, relying on God in all events. He was “120 when he died and his eyesight was not impaired and he was still vigorous and strong” (Deuteronomy 34:7). Moses is an incredible picture of what faithfulness looks like. In 2016, Directors Foundation tried to be just that: faithful. Faithful to fund charities that are ministering and helping children, families, men, women, and hurting people; faithful to organize a mission trip that benefitted children and families in an impoverished area in Mexico; faithful to extend prayers to those in need; faithful to listen to God. Directors Foundation is a very small part of what incredible charities are doing in people’s lives and in communities around the world. We’re grateful to know of servants that work tirelessly and were humbled to be a small part in meeting the needs. May God continue to give us a forward-thinking vision to accomplish His work.

Mission Projects This was the second mission trip that Directors Foundation has hosted since its inception. We partnered with Back 2 Back Ministries and Mission House Partners to love people in a number of ways; helping physically build a church, pray for shut-ins, bless families with house repairs, and interact with children of the community by providing food and love. Over 80 people joined in the day that was filled with positive energy & productive activity!

“I’ve never been involved in the community. I’ve never been on a mission trip. This was an incredible experience and it makes me want to help people!”

“I had no idea you could make a concrete floor without a concrete mixer. Of course, it would have been nice to have some large tools – but it’s great to know work can still happen without electricity!” “Did you see that woman’s face? She had lost all hope. Praying for her not only encouraged her, it boosted my faith!”

“I’m so fortunate to have all I have. This family has nothing of monetary value. It was surprising for me to see their joy in the midst of having so little.” “When our daughter told us she was going to go on several mission trips this summer, we signed up to help because we wanted to experience what she would be going through. I had no idea it would be such an incredible day. I can’t wait for her to serve. It’ll change her life.” It truly is more “blessed to give than to receive.”

F o u n d a t i o n

Serving others is an important way for Directors Foundation to be involved in helping people. Money was extended to make these major projects come to life, but the love, labor, smiles, and servanthood extended were an even greater investment as people’s lives were changed!
