As part of its Partnership in Education program, FCP also awards the Ron Bernstein Outstanding Service Scholarship, as well as an annual scholarship at Bucks County Community College, and Delaware Valley University.

Professional Development

Complementing the FCP Conversations Online series, #FCPresents strives to strengthen the non-profit sector by inviting thought leaders to share their expertise. In March 2024, internationally known founder of Nonprofit AF, Vu Le, discussed nonprofits’ collective impact during his keynote presentation to more than 150 social impact professionals and board members from across the tri-state area.

University’s School of Public independently evaluated making efforts, grantees’ experiences perceptions and the impact of work.

Final report submitted in response to the Commonwealth’s Attorney General’s Office and the Bucks County Orphan’s Court’s approval of FCP’s community plan in 2007.

Support of Bucks County’s non-profit community reaches $5 million.

Summer Youth Corps

This program provides service-learning opportunities for motivated college students, entering their second or third year in college, residing in Bucks County, Pa. Students use both academic and social skills to address human needs and solve problems in the real world. They are “matched” with select non-profit human service organizations for a 10-week, paid internship with the opportunity to earn college credits. FCP welcomed a cohort of 13 interns in 2024. Based on the Independent Sector’s estimate of the value of a volunteer hour, the total value contributed by SYC interns to nonprofits since 2008 equals $1,518,185.50.

Meeting Space Availability at FCP

As part of its mission to support collaboration and help nonprofits provide services in a cost-effective manner, two meeting spaces are available at FCP’s Doylestown office free of charge to current/past grantees and applicants, as well as other 501(c)(3) organizations serving Bucks County children, young adults, and families.
