Summer Youth Corps

Complementing the FCP Conversations Online series, #FCPresents strives to strengthen the non-profit sector by inviting thought leaders to share their expertise. In March 2023, internationally recognized champion for the non-profit sector, Joan Garry, discussed the “Key Attributes of Thriving Nonprofits” during her keynote presentation to more than 150 non-profit professionals and board members from across the tri-state area.

This program provides service-learning opportunities for motivated college students, entering their second or third year in college, residing in Bucks County, Pa. Students use both academic and social skills to address human needs and solve problems in the real world. They are “matched” with select non-profit human service organizations for a 10-week, paid internship with the opportunity to earn college credits. FCP welcomed a cohort of 11 interns in 2023.
