Meet Falls Church’s Real Estate Experts M. Anthony Carr, Weichert Realtors
Treena Rinaldi, Korte Realty
At Weichert Realtors in McLean on Old Dominion Drive, you’ll find a group of professionals who sell more because they do more. During the latest real estate downturn, nearly half the brokerages across the country shut down. But Weichert Realtors, again, proved it knows how to weather any market as it entered its 45th year of business with strength and determination to help its clients succeed! Locally, the McLean/Old Dominion sales team is lead by a seasoned professional who has a mix of experience to help buyers and sellers avoid pitfalls in the market and enable sales professionals to grow their businesses with confidence. M. Anthony Carr is the Managing Broker for one of the top teams in Northern Virginia at Weichert Realtors, McLean. He started as an agent with Weichert in 1995 and with his skill-set of helping coach and train his colleagues to success, quickly joined the leadership team as a regional sales trainer, regional director of education and eventually managing broker. His real estate career is diverse and he has proven his expertise as a sought out speaker, author, blogger and problem solver. Mr. Carr wrote “Real Estate Investing Made Simple: A commonsense approach to building wealth”; and he was a contributing writer to Donald Trump’s book, “The Best Real Estate Advice I Ever Received.”
In 1965, my mom, Katreen Korte, having worked a number of years for various brokers, decided to open her own company. She leased a small office at 712 W. Broad, where we still have our world headquarters today. At the time, C&P refused to send her the phone bill, since she was a woman. The bill was addressed to my dad, George Korte. Mom’s real estate business spanned everything from selling land and lots to selling and leasing commercial buildings and residential property. She worked until she was well into her 80s and made many good and lasting friends. She was active in the city of Falls Church, serving on the first Streetscape Committee, and she was active in the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors for many years. She was an active member of the Greater Falls Church Chamber and a faithful attendant of their annual Gala. Today, there are two of us in the office, Mostafa Shah, and Treena Rinaldi. We follow the same path as my mom, with the varied services that small independent firms provide. We have helped sellers and purchasers of homes all over our area, from Alexandria to Woodbridge to Lucketts. You will see our signs for lease and sale on commercial properties all over the city. We are still at 712 W. Broad, and feel so fortunate to be in such a great spot, right on Broad, and await with anticipation all the many new developments that are being planned in the City.

You seemed to know when to hold it and when to let go so that we made the decision on our own, but with valuable input and background gained from all the houses we looked at!” “Kathy is an exceptional Realtor. We’ve worked with her three times, buying and selling. She’s an expert. She works superbly in a time crunch, which is helpful to those – like us – moving overseas, or just returning from overseas.” “I used Kathy when I was looking for an investment condo in Arlington... Kathy provided me with more due diligence than I’d even hoped for. I love her way of presenting information and asking questions to lead me into making the right decision for me. It was a joy working with Kathy and I’ll call her again in a heartbeat.” Give Kathy a call. You too will be glad you did. Call 703-534-4630.
