WE HAVE YOUR BACK WITH PPP! When we first heard the name Coronavirus, COVID-19, earlier this year, there was no way to know the widespread impact that would be felt. Small businesses were some of the hardest hit; in particular, non-essential businesses that faced temporarily closing their doors to stop the spread.

Now, facing the major and toughest decision of how to retain and pay employees, a huge weight was on business owner’s shoulders.

The Payroll Protection Program (PPP) loan was announced and became the saving grace for so many small businesses.

Our dedicated business and commercial lending teams jumped in to stay on top of all the details to assist our members navigate the requirements for this loan.

FCCU is proud to announce we were able to assist: 138 existing small business members 800 employee paychecks saved Westar Moving & Storage, a small business in Houston, since 1997, and an FCCU business member, was one of the first businesses we assisted in obtaining this loan.

When Westar reached out to FCCU, they were delighted to find the process was completed as quickly as possible. The owners were relieved when they received the news the loan was approved just before their 23-year anniversary of the company.
