he word “Innovation” is described under Wikipedia as “the application of better solutions that meet new requirements, unarticulated needs, or existing market needs.” It is through innovation that we see improvements, modernization and ultimately profitability in agriculture production. Canada’s Farm Progress Show — Presented by Viterra is unsurpassed as the show to showcase all the Innovations — Sponsored by FCC, new products and product launches that our agriculture companies and dealers have to offer. Companies, who have entered their innovation, were qualified by the Canada's Farm Progress Show Innovations committee. Innovations that qualified were then critiqued by a panel of judges. Innovations which ranked the highest, will either receive a Gold Standard Award or Sterling Standard Award. Our distinguished panel of five has a vast knowledge of practical and tangible understanding of the Agricultural Industry. elcome to the 38th annual Canada’s Farm Progress Show presented by Viterra! We are proud to host what has become the industry’s leading agricultural showcase. Over the years, we have grown from being a local event to being recognized as a international event that is showcasing Canadian and United States innovations, and new this year an innovation from Poland. We’re proud to offer attendees an almost unparalleled opportunity to see the latest and greatest trends in agricultural production. As we see our global markets change, technology is changing along with it. Our programming keeps pace with the latest innovations and the emerging needs of the industry. While the main purpose of the show is to be a showcase for agriculture companies, it also serves as an educational opportunity where people, from both inside and outside the industry, can come to learn about the modern world of agriculture. Over 45,000 attendees will visit more than 700+ exhibitors spread across 1.9 million square feet of show space. An increasingly important part of our show is the International Business Centre (IBC) where we welcome representatives from around the world. In past years, we have been proud to host over 800 international guests representing over 57 countries. As a result of this program, Canada's Farm Progress Show is widely recognized as a major event for fostering international business relationships. We also want to welcome everyone to our many featured programs, such as the FCC Innovations Showcase, the New Product Launches, Livestock Centre, Antique Truck and Tractor Display and the Modern Lifestyle pavilion. Hall 12 – 12119 Wingssprayer Drift reduction system on sprayers by using a windshield, behind the shield are the nozzles on a 10 inch distance so we can spray very close to our target. The airflow that goes over the shield makes that the spraying cannot go away. That’s why this system reaches 99 per cent drift reduction. The windshield also opens the canopy so that we can cover the whole plant. This system fits almost under every boom and is unique because it’s simple with no hydraulic or electric parts in it and is made of very strong, light and durable materials.

The cells are circular in shape to achieve proper singulation with the canola seed. The knock out wheel runs along the suction side of the disk to keep the vacuum pressure constant throughout the planting process. This prevents any plugging issues a farmer may have with seed coatings or any other kind of debris that might get logged in the cells, which helps to achieve the proper seed spacing and singulation for their crop. This enables farmers to cut their seeding rate in half while still achieving the same yield and germination rate that they would with a drill at twice the rate. Salford Air cart AC 4000 with liquid fertilizer option The AC4000 Series offers four tanks with a combined capacity up to 880 bu. dry material plus a smaller tank for small seeds such as canola to boost the overall capacity to 950 bu. Air Carts owners who choose the liquid fertilizer option can switch 220 bu. dry tanks for a 4,000 gal. tank as it will fit in the same footprint. The AC4000 is equipped with larger tires for better flotation. Metering is conducted by Salford’s proven stainless metering system. Pegged and fluted plastic or stainless fluted metering rollers are available. Salford air carts are already well known for their ability to deliver granular fertilizer accurately and reliably. When re-filling is required, it is handled Convey-All conveyor. The conveyor can fill at a rate of 67 bu. a minute and is carried by a remote-controlled hydraulic arm for easy maneuvering. All liquid tanks will come with industry proven hydraulically driven liquid pumps for accurate applications. Plumbing and quick connections are also provided. The system is ISOBUS ready and is compatible with most application control systems.
Mattracks TA9000 Track Series Mattracks, an innovation leader in rubber track conversion systems, has introduced its new series of 9000 tracks. The products expands Mattracks current Track-tor-Assist line-up of conversion systems for the ag, commercial markets and extremely large machinery and equipment with axle loads from 10 to 20 tons. Track widths in the TA9000 series are 15", 20", 24", 30". The heavier framework has been designed for increased load carrying capacity.
