MAR CH

Just a few weeks ago, Melissa Hatfield celebrated her 20th anniversary as our Pastor of Youth and Missions. How blessed we are to have her giftedness, creativity and loving ministry in our midst. Melissa’s strong gifts of clarifying and implementing vision are evident in the flourishing youth and missions ministries of our congregation—and in countless other ways. I am personally grateful for her life and friendship. We have set aside March 8 as a day to celebrate Melissa. Please note

the special schedule: a recognition and worship in the sanctuary at 9:15am then a brunch-reception in the Fellowship Hall, 10:30-11:30am (all regular activities canceled that morning). On March 8, we will have the opportunity to practice two things which FBCJC does well—loving one another and eating. Let’s party!

Wednesdays / Refuge Rm 6-7:15p / Middle School 7:45-9p / High School We were all designed to ask questions. As toddlers, we constantly asked, “Why?” But as we get older, asking too many questions is often discouraged — especially when those questions are about our faith. But in this 3-week series, we’ll talk about how having questions (and even doubts) about God might not be as scary or as shameful as we thought, because you’re not alone in your questions, God doesn’t shame us for our questions, our questions don’t always get answered, and Godly people can help us with our questions.
