For 400 years between the Old Testament and New Testament, God’s people were in a waiting period. Then out of the silence, one comes on the scene with the message that “Yes, God loves you!” God so loved this world that He pursued us from heaven to earth with a proposal that would change everything. ___________ wins! Vs. 16-17 “The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great light, and to those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, upon them a light dawned.” Vs. 16-17 Leave __________ an ________ life. Vs. 18-22 “And walking by the Sea of Galilee, He saw two brothers…casting a net into the sea for they were fisherman. And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” And the immediately left the nets and followed Him.” Vs. 18-20 “He saw two brothers, James and John and He called them and they immediately left the boat and their father, and followed Him.” Vs. 21-22 _________ a ________ life. Vs. 19, 23-25 “I will make you fishers of men.” Vs. 19 “And Jesus was going about in all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every kind of disease and every kind of sickness among the people. And the news about Him went out into all Syria…and great multitudes followed Him…” vs.23-25
