FBC MISSION PARTNER - BREAD PARTNERS Bread Partners is a mobile food pantry that services Washington County and Somerville. Each Monday, we deliver food to several locations in the area, including Somerville, Washington, and Chappell Hill. Each Tuesday, we distribute food at the fairgrounds in Brenham. Additionally, every other week we have teams that deliver to homebound residents that can’t otherwise get food. Bread Partners is 100% volunteer based, and we have wonderful people who pick up from area businesses that donate food, as well as pack and deliver food to each of our pick up locations. What we need are more people who are willing to pick up food for those who are unable to come to our pick up locations. With authorization, you can pick up for as many as 3 people. Who do you know that might need food? Would you be willing to pick up for them every week or two? We feel there are still many needy people that don’t take the opportunity to get food. Many times they don’t want to ask for help or work during the times we distribute. Help out a neighbor, church member, or someone you know by picking up food for them.
