ANNOUNCEMENTS SECOND REFLECTION ON MASTERPLAN & PHASE 1 – Today at 4:00pm, Gym. Excitement is building in our church in regards to our relocation. Come today to review and give input on the Masterplan and Phase One. DISCIPLE NOW WEEKEND - January 20-22 - Our students will be learning what it means to be “Driven”and to have a life like the great Apostle Paul. Students will be building their own Box Car to race and we are looking for sponsors. Car Sponsorships are $100 to cover supply costs. Volunteers are also still needed to help with Host Homes and registration. fbc-brenham.org ENCORE MINISTRY (55+) LUNCHEON – Thursday, January 19th at 11:00 am in the Pahl House. This will be a potluck luncheon, and we will be having as our guest speaker the Chief of the Brenham Police Department, Craig Goodman. This will be a wonderful opportunity to hear about the Brenham PD, learn about different happenings in our community, and have an opportunity to ask questions. PRAYER TIME FOR DISCIPLE NOW - On Thursday, January 19, you are invited to a special time of prayer for our students the day before Disciple Now. We will meet in our sanctuary at 5:00 for a special time of prayer and then proceed to the Gym in order to write letters of encouragement for the students. At 7:15, we will then drive to Champion Fellowship in order to prayer wall their facilities, which is where the worship services will be taking place on Friday and Saturday. DISCIPLE NOW COMMUNITY WORSHIP SERVICE ON JANUARY 22ND We will be joining with other churches in Brenham on Sunday, January 22nd during the Disciple Now weekend to worship together. Service starts at 10:00am at the Brenham High School auditorium. Child care, with security present, will be available here at the church during the joint worship service. Child care drop off begins at 9:30am. There will be no 8:30 worship service and no Sunday School on this Sunday. CONNECTING @ FBC - Next Sunday, january 22nd, at 4:00pm in room 112. New to First Baptist Church, either as a guest or a new member? This will be an opportunity to learn more about our church, membership, ways to connect, and be provided resources to help you grow in your Christian faith.
