SOAR ON Taking Fort Bend Christian Academy to new heights.
FORT BEND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY STRATEGIC PLAN 2026-2031
FORT BEND CHRISTIAN ACADEMY EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY At Fort Bend Christian Academy, we believe the most important thing a student can gain is not simply a great education but a deep and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Our first priority is spiritual formation: helping students know God, love His Word, recognize His truth, and live with a faith that shapes every part of their lives. We desire for each student to love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength; to love others as themselves; and to faithfully follow and serve Christ wherever He leads. Because we believe all truth is God’s truth, a relationship with Christ is not separate from learning. It is the foundation for it. We affirm the Bible as the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God. Scripture informs how we understand truth and provides the lens through which every discipline is studied. From the sciences and humanities to the arts and athletics, students are invited to see learning as an opportunity to know, worship, and serve God. We pursue academic distinction not as an end in itself, but as an expression of faithful stewardship. We believe every student is created in the image of God, uniquely gifted and designed for His purpose. In a community where students are known, loved, and challenged, our teachers cultivate both intellectual curiosity and a love of learning. Through a rigorous college-preparatory education from PreK through 12th grade, students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills as well as creativity, resilience, and the confidence to engage the world with wisdom and conviction. We don't simply prepare students for the next level of education; we help them discover how God has uniquely equipped them and how they can use their lives for His purposes. We pursue excellence as an expression of faithful stewardship, developing the gifts God has given us, embracing challenge and growth, working with diligence and integrity, thinking deeply and creatively, and using our abilities to serve others. We teach students that excellence is not about perfection, performance, or comparison; it is about faithfully offering their very best in response to what God has entrusted to them. Excellence means learning to persevere through difficulty, lead with humility, pursue what is true and good, and use our gifts not simply for personal achievement but for the glory of God and the good of others. We believe education is a partnership between school, family, and church. Together, we have the privilege of shaping young men and women who are grounded in Biblical truth, marked by Christlike character, equipped with knowledge, and compelled by their faith. Our faculty, staff, administrators, and trustees embrace the sacred responsibility of investing in the whole student— mind, heart, character, and soul. At Fort Bend Christian Academy, our goal is not merely to prepare students to succeed in college or a career. Our goal is to help them know Christ deeply, discover their God-given purpose, pursue excellence, love others, and use their lives to faithfully influence the world for His glory.
