A Message from the Board of Trustees President

Wade Hanegan

Tommy Kuranoff

Thank you for your generosity to the Vision 2030 campaign since its inception in 2024. Your contributions enabled the debt-free construction of the Middle School expansion. The Middle School addition is scheduled for completion and barring unforeseen delays, it is anticipated that the seventh and eighth grade classes will occupy this new space in the spring. This addition will provide a transitional environment for older middle school students that should ease their adjustment into the Upper School. This migration will also decongest the second floor and allow the fifth and sixth grade classes to enjoy a more ageappropriate experience. Collectively, these moves will allow for a targeted enrollment increase of about ten students per grade for these four grade levels. The opening of the Middle School will mark the completion of the second phase of Vision 2030 projects. Planning is already underway for the final phase of improvements to complete our near-term campus master plan. Because these upcoming projects are larger in scale than our first two phases combined, our timeline will rely heavily on your continued generosity. We look forward to sharing more specifics about these Phase 3 improvements in the year to come. Sincerely,

Jim Brown President, FBCA Board of Trustees

A Message from the Interim Head of School

Dear Fort Bend Christian Academy Family, As we reflect on the 2025–2026 school year, I am grateful for the Lord’s continued faithfulness to Fort Bend Christian Academy and for the generosity of a community committed to Christ-centered education. This year’s Impact Report reflects both meaningful progress and careful stewardship of the resources entrusted to FBCA. Through the support of our families, alumni, donors, and friends, we have continued to invest in the people, programs, and campus spaces that help students grow in faith, character, and academic excellence. Each gift and every act of partnership strengthens our ability to serve students today while preparing wisely for the future. This year, we were especially encouraged by continued campus care and improvements, including a new playground that will provide a joyful and welcoming space for our younger students. As CFO, I am deeply mindful that strong financial stewardship is essential to sustaining FBCA’s mission. We remain committed to using resources responsibly, aligning investments with our core values, and ensuring that every decision supports the long-term health of our school and the students we are called to serve. Thank you for your trust, prayers, and generosity. Your partnership allows FBCA to continue equipping students to lead, serve, and live faithfully for God’s glory. Go, Eagles! Athletic Booster Club Partnerships The FBCA Athletic Booster Club is proud to support the Upper and Middle School athletic programs at Fort Bend Christian Academy, where over 75% of our students actively participate in sports. As the premier Christian, college-preparatory, and largest private school in Fort Bend County, our mission is to uplift our student-athletes and athletic department through financial resources, dedicated volunteers, and constant prayer. Involvement from our parents, family, and friends makes a profound impact, and our ultimate prayer is that every athlete develops Christ-like characteristics that guide them for a lifetime.

LEGACY IMPACT “We have seen such a positive impact on our children from their time at FBCA. This is not only witnessed through academics but in spiritual impact as well. Everyone has memories of their childhood and school years. We know that the experiences, friends and educators all shape us as we grow. To have a foundation in Christian education that you look back on fondly is priceless.” -Dr. Kevin Gee and Dr. Brandi Montgomery

“Our family chooses to support Fort Bend Christian Academy because we’ve seen firsthand the impact it has on our children. Not only academically, but in their faith, character, and leadership. We believe in the school’s mission and are grateful for the investment so many people have made in generations of students.” -Chad and Haley Millis

To have a foundation in Christian education that you look back on fondly is priceless.

“I see giving as far more than a transaction—it is an act of faith, stewardship, and partnership in the work God is doing through our Fort Bend Christian Academy. Christian generosity is not rooted in obligation, but in gratitude for all God has entrusted to us. When families, alumni, and friends give, they help create opportunities for students to grow academically, spiritually, and relationally in a Christ-centered environment. Every gift, regardless of size, becomes part of a larger story of Kingdom impact—equipping the next generation to know Christ, pursue excellence, and serve others with purpose.” -Claire Hao, Managing Director of Institutional Advancement

GENEROUS GIVING “We enjoy contributing to FBCA because it is an opportunity to invest in the lives of young people while supporting their education rooted in the Christian faith, integrity, and strong moral values. FBCA helps students grow not only academically, but also spiritually and personally, preparing them to become compassionate, responsible, and serviceminded leaders. Knowing that our contribution helps provide a positive, Christ-centered environment where students can develop their character, strengthen their faith, and pursue excellence makes giving to FBCA both meaningful and rewarding.” -Brian and Nakeytta Watson

Theatre Shines at the Tommy Tune Awards

Our Production Theatre, ASL IV, and technical theatre students earned All-Festival Performance (the highest festival award with only 9 recipients), an opportunity to perform a number from our Lion King JR show on the main stage at the Freddie G Awards. Darian Sanders, a Broadway performer and author who most recently appeared as Simba in the national tour of The Lion King, praised our lioness and ensemble work and said that FBCA "didn't do [ASL] just to do it; they did it with such conviction and such justice."

Fort Bend Christian Academy’s Honors Theatre Production students absolutely brought the house down at the 2026 Tommy Tune Awards ceremony. Taking the stage with a show-stopping performance of "Way Down Hadestown," the cast celebrated their elite status as "Best Musical" finalists for their spectacular fall production of Hadestown: Teen Edition. The group walked away with an incredible 26 preliminary nominations, 5 finalist nominations, and a Jimmy Awards Nominee Runner-Up distinction, cementing FBCA's status. Senior Gabby Anthony also performed in a special medley of Lead Performer Finalists based on her nomination as Eurydice in Hadestown: Teen Edition.

PARENT Parent TeacherTEACHER FellowshipFELLOWSHIP and Campus Volunteers AND CAMPUS VOLUNTEERS FBCA loves our PTF and Campus Volunteers and believes they are the bridge that provides the needed support. Whether it’s the excitement of cheering on our athletes, marveling at the talent in a fine arts production, or sharing a laugh with other parents while volunteering at a traditional campus event, our volunteers turn our school into a true community. Throughout each event and program, cherished and meaningful connections are made for our families. The Parent Teacher Fellowship (PTF) at Fort Bend Christian Academy serves as the cornerstone of volunteer support, parent ministries, and teacher appreciation in the school community. PTF plays a crucial role in fostering a sense of community, collaboration, and support among parents, teachers, and staff. Every stakeholder at FBCA is automatically a member of the group. PTF Board Members are selected annually in the Spring. Dads on Duty, led by proud dad Reme Ekoh, is a remarkable group of dedicated fathers serving the school community by opening car doors to greet students and families at morning car line on Fridays, making special LS Chapel appearances, and leading campus prayer walks. The group cherishes the opportunity to foster meaningful connections and be a positive influence on our campus. 2025-2026 PTF Board: President - Monica Holden, Vice President - Julie Motal, Secretary - Amanda Rubin, Treasurer - Beryl Ayewah, Chaplain - Reme Ekoh, Parliamentarian - Keisha Shannon, Community Events Coordinator MacKenzie Shimek, LS Volunteer Coordinators - Kimberly Camp and Emily Watts, MS Volunteer Coordinator - Tiffany Harris, US Volunteer Coordinator - Laurie Hughes, LS Hospitality - Mary Graham and Haley Millis, MS Hospitality - Alisha Roberts and Hillary Watson, US Hospitality - Heather Brown and Jana Forastiere

With the dedication of volunteering, we made the promise to match those hours with a monetary value, just as we would do with a standard financial grant or donation.
