CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended Monday staff meeting; board appointment committee finalized appointments for 2020; met with Deputy City Clerk to conduct performance appraisal.

Projects: Following up with GovDeals auction closeout; completed and loaded Council agenda packet for 1/9 meeting.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 47 new; 47 closed.

Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the New City Hall building; working on new Police RMS system (continued); software upgrade 2020 processing.

Meetings: Clear Company meeting; met with Tony Whitley on new work order system.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Assisted with environmental due diligence for Walton Fayetteville.

Main Street: Continued preparation of 2020 concert series; review of annual sales tax receipts with Finance Department.

Downtown Development Authority: Drafting new lease for downtown parking agreement; prepared presentation for potential Lester House project.

PIO / COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ANN MARIE BURDETT Promotions: HOA event.

Meetings: Team meeting 12/30; Team meeting 1/3.

Event Planning: HOA Boot Camp 1/18.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DAVID RAST Site/ landscape inspections: Air Evac (125 Promenade PKWY ) – framing/ building massing; checkers (460 N Glynn ST) – freezer location/ construction progress; Mrs. Ross (738 S Jeff Davis DR) - change of address.

Development checklist, forms and guidebook: Completed 1-on-1 meetings with staff involved with the Technical Review Committee; completed draft P&Z development process flowchart and concept application; began preparing the temporary sign brochure and new application; zoning/ site checklist will be discussed at the next TRC meeting. The draft engineering checklist is under review.

GIS updates: Conducted an internal review of the current applications with the building department, fire, public works, and planning staff; Completed several updates to zoning map including missing subdivisions and approved rezonings.

Census 2020: Meeting scheduled for January 8 with Communications Team to brainstorm promoting upcoming census.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Projects: The police department conducted extra operational details in the Fayette Pavilion shopping center during the holiday season, and we did not have a major incident reported. We will be releasing the total Fayette Pavilion crime stats for this period in the coming weeks. Four new patrol vehicles have been purchased and are being equipped for operation.

Training: The police Department welcomed K-9 Gizmo. He and his handler passed certification and are now working in Uniform Patrol. Four officers during this period received advanced training in different topics.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Training: Firefighter recruits receiving in-house training to prepare for Basic Firefighter Course at Georgia Public Safety Training Center – Georgia Fire Academy.

Meetings: Fire Chief Alan Jones attended meeting with William Boyd of Georgia Department of Transportation; Fire Chief Jones attended meeting with Clear Company.

Projects: Deputy Chief Linda Black and Division Chief Peacock continue to work on the Lexipol Project; Employee appraisals completed.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall, Police Department and Public Works/Distribution building; checked drains before the rain event; City-wide trash run; repaired potholes on Chase Drive; cleaned ditch line at 220 Buckeye Lane; removed deer on Jimmy Mayfield Boulevard; cut and maintained City Hall landscaping; pruned crape myrtles; removed leaves from parking area; cut and maintained Church Street Park landscape, HolidayDorsey-Fife House, West Lanier Avenue from Grady Ave to Meeting Place; cleaned Lane Brown Gazebo Area; mulched plants on Commerce Drive; unclogged drainpipe at 278 Otter Circle.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.756 / 2.653 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.216 / 1.169 of system demand; repaired three water leaks; performed nine water meter maintenance; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: We are continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany. The general Performance Appraisal evaluation questions have been input into ClearCompany. We will begin setting up the job-specific appraisal questions. We will begin setting up training for all users in ClearCompany for recruiting, onboarding, Performance Management, and appraisals. The Interim Performance Appraisals were due by December 31, 2019. The insurance cards for medical, dental, and vision were distributed via Inter-Office mail on 12/30 and 12/31 for the January 1, 2020 plan year.

Turn Over Report: There were 2 employees hired and 1 employee termination during the two-week period of December 23, 2019 – January 5, 2020.
