CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended Monday staff meeting; visited furniture showroom in Atlanta along with other staff members for New City Hall building; attended City employee Open Enrollment meeting for upcoming calendar year; attended 12/5 City Council meeting; attended all-day City Council Retreat in Woolsey.

Projects: Continuing to collect Christmas Angels for Bloom Closet Christmas gifts; finalizing GovDeals surplus list for Police Department; finalizing City boards and committee placements; confirming Years of Service recognition for employees.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 40 new; 43 closed.

Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the New City Hall building; working on new Police RMS system (continued); new workorder system for Water and Public Works departments.

Meetings: Met with the Water Department and the programmer on the new Public Works and Water departments work order system; attended Panasonic showcase conference in Atlanta; attended City Council Retreat.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Prepared economic development items for City Council retreat; closed on parcel of right-of-way needed for hospital bridge project, still need one parcel for completion.

Main Street: Final prep and marketing for Christmas on Main Street 12/7; attended City Council meeting to recognize Main Street Board Chair Cam Williams after 17 years of service; prepared bid specs for Stonewall Avenue road diet.

Downtown Development Authority: Site visit with potential tenant and architect at Lester House.

City Hall Project: Review of furniture, tables and chairs selection throughout new building.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Community Engagement: This year’s Christmas Parade was a great success and there were no incidents reported.

Training: Officer B. Baker has graduated from North Georgia University and is now assigned to a field training officer; several officers completed advanced training this week.

Reminder: When holiday shopping, please remember to put all valuables in the trunk of your vehicle during this holiday season.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Community Engagement: Units participated in the annual Christmas Parade.

Meetings: Fire Chief Alan Jones attended a learning showcase symposium at Flat Rock Middle School for the STEAM project; Chief Jones attended meeting with Fire Chiefs from the Fayette County Department of Fire and Emergency Services and Peachtree City Fire Department regarding fire dispatch cards; Chief Jones attended City retreat in Woolsey; all shifts attended open enrollment meetings.

Projects: Continue to work on Lexipol Project; apparatus building for Station #93 has been reassembled with gas and electrical connections scheduled for next week; all shifts are performing annual hydrant maintenance.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall, Police Department and Public Services buildings; trash run in the city limits; cleaned out ditch line at 645 South Jeff Davis Drive and on South Jeff Davis Drive; cleaned up Lane Brown Gazebo area; blew off cart path on Redwine and the roundabout on Grady Avenue; cleaned up curbing on Lee Street, parking lot at Fire HQ / Engineering building, Downtown area, the Square, front of City Hall and the City Cemetery; helped Main Street with Christmas decorating and at the Lane Brown Gazebo.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.011 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.101 million gallons of system demand; repaired six water leaks; performed 17 water meter maintenance; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Utility Locates: 78

HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: We are continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; We will begin setting up training for all users in ClearCompay for recruiting, onboarding, performance management and appraisals; conducted benefits meetings for all employees explaining the changes for the upcoming plan year, and the implementation of the new benefits package for January 1 plan year. Open Enrollment is to begin December 9, 2019.

Turn Over Report: There were no new employees hired and one employee termination during the week of December 2-8, 2019.
