CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: Attended Verizon technology meeting with directors at City Hall.

Projects: Turned in Angel Tree gifts to the Bloom foster care organization; monitored GovDeals auction for Police Department; planned December 17 employee Christmas luncheon; Ordered Years of Service plaques; scheduled January 9 swearing-in ceremony; built January 9 agenda packet.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 32 new; 28 closed.

Projects: Continuing to work on a list of technology needs for the New City Hall building; working on new Police RMS system (continued); video police RMS training; replace court clerk area security camera.

Meetings: Meeting with planning and zoning and building department on plan review process and workflow; Verizon solutions meeting; telecom meeting with vendor.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Review of form-based code guidelines; review of alcoholic beverage code.

Main Street: Final prep for Volunteer Appreciation event held on 12/12; analysis of Amphitheater survey data; began calls to agents; sponsorship planning meeting on 12/11; Wellness Walk brochure updates for second printing; post-event review of annual parade.

Downtown Development Authority: Review of architectural and construction services scope needed at Lester House.

City Hall Project: Working on temporary access to site from adjacent property owner.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DAVID RAST The December 17 Planning and Zoning Commission agenda includes the following:

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Training: Officer Bryce Baker has graduated from North Georgia University and is now in the Field Training Program; Four Officers completed advanced training at area academies.

Reminder: When shopping during this holiday season, please remember to put all valuables in the trunk of your vehicle.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Community Engagement: Station #91/Headquarters and Station #92 are collection locations for Toys for Tots; all shifts are performing annual hydrant maintenance; annual Christmas Lunch for all shifts; units participated in Fayette County High School Band Winter Festival.

Meetings: Fire Chief Alan Jones and Deputy Fire Chief Linda Black attended meeting with Verizon Solutions; Chiefs Jones, Black, and Peacock attended GoToMeeting with Lexipol Project Manager; Chiefs Jones, Black, and Peacock attended meeting with Piedmont Fayette administration regarding potential site for permanent Fire Station #93.

Projects: Continue to work on Lexipol Project; apparatus building for Station #93 has been reassembled with gas line connected, permanent power connection expected within the week; two final job offers given and accepted for two open Firefighter positions, new employees will start training on December 26, 2019; new HVAC unit installed at Station #91.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Stormwater: Cleaned clogged drain at 279 Otter Circle; cleaned clogged culvert at 220 Oak Street.

Public Works: Cleaned City Hall, Police Department and Public Works/Distribution facility; cleaned up Lane Brown Gazebo area; cleaned up curbing on West Lanier Ave. from Bennett Street to Tiger Trail, Lafayette Avenue, Beauregard Boulevard; catch basin on Hwy 85 South, Helen Sams Parkway, right of way on Pye Court, Glenleigh Walk, and Hood Avenue; removed tree on Commerce Drive; installed safety signs on Lester Road; emptied the trash cans on the Courthouse Square.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.650 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.231 of system demand; repaired four water leaks; performed 15 water meter maintenance; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirement.

HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: We are continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; We will begin setting up training for all users in ClearCompay for recruiting, onboarding, performance management and appraisals; a call is scheduled for Wednesday, December 18, 2019 to set the Performance Management calendar. Open Enrollment was the week of December 9-15, 2019.

Turn Over Report: There were no new employees hired and one employee termination during the week of December 9-15, 2019.
