FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Events: Completed departmental annual physicals; shifts completed monthly EMS training.

Projects: Fire Chief Alan Jones, Deputy Fire Chief Linda Black, City Manager Ray Gibson and Human Resources Director Nella Cooper attended virtual meeting with Lexipol for a demonstration of local government policies; Chief Jones, Chief Black, Division Chief Keith Harris, Division Chief Mike Matthews, and Captain Josh Collins attended an in-house training course called Principles and Practices of Incident Management; Chief Jones, Chief Black, Chief Harris, and Chief Gable attended the WebEx meeting for Telecommunications Services (GETS, WPS, and TSP); Chief Black attended various webinars throughout the week with Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) and other medical associations regarding COVID-19; Chief Gable continues to update the COVID-19 Incident Action Plan; weekly COVID-19 reported completed to Georgia Department of Public Health; daily cleaning and sanitizing of self-contained breathing apparatus masks and regulators continued; annual hose testing continued.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY ¡ Chief Scott Gray met with the Command Staff to discuss the City Manager’s weekly meeting ¡ Held the monthly staff meeting ¡ Finalized the Holiday Safety Enforcement Plan for Fayette Pavilion and surrounding businesses ¡ Two new patrol vehicles have been outfitted and will soon join the fleet Training: ¡ On Thursday, November 19, the Tactical Response Team conducted the monthly training day at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center firearms range and shoot house ¡ On Friday, November 20, Officer Branden Zuke completed Officer Survival at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center

HUMAN RESOURCES DEPT. NELLA COOPER Personnel: We are continuing with the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; continuing to focus on COVID-19 and federal and state requirements as they relate to City employees; continuing to review various reports and updates related to COVID-19 in order to remain in compliance; maintaining a spreadsheet for potential City employee pandemic cases; requesting proper leave forms to be completed by employees that are out of work due to COVID-19 related absences; continuing to review and update various administrative policies for accuracy; Open Enrollment for health plans ended on November 20; we will review and verify Open Enrollment and eligibility data, and it will be sent to the various insurance carriers.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Attended the November 19 City Council meeting; toured the new Tyrone Town Hall with City staff; met with Falcon Design and Kimley-Horn to discuss the scope of the updated downtown traffic study; prepared an analysis of documents for a potential Tax Allocation District project; completed final preparation of right-of-way reimbursement documents and mitigation credits needed for the hospital-area bridge/trail project.

Main Street: Downtown Christmas decorations are installed; processed refunds and updated marketing for the cancelled Christmas on Main Street event; set up amphitheater rental for the November 30 “Nutcracker� performance by the Peachtree City Civic Ballet.

Downtown Development Authority: Met with Georgia Department of Transportation representatives to receive permit for the Stonewall Avenue road diet and parking improvments, project beginning November 30; met with a group interested in redevelopment of the 119 South Glynn Street building; returned Holliday Dorsey Fife Museum loaned artifacts to the original owners (most items now returned); met with Piedmont Geotech for soil testing at 195 Stonewall Avenue; held the monthly DDA board meeting.

PUBLIC SERVICES DEPT. CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall and Police Department; cut and maintained Church Street Park, White Road, Helen Sams Parkway, Beauregard Boulevard, Jimmie Mayfield Boulevard, the Lane Brown Gazebo area, the Holliday Dorsey Fife House grounds, Patriot Park, the amphitheater, and City Hall; mulched the Patriot Park memorial; helped the IT Department with disposing of old computers; picked up the lift truck for Main Street; installed two stop signs and poles, completed the trash run, and picked up a dead deer on Forest Avenue.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated was 1.57 million gallons per day; performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift station sites; maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.3 million gallons of system demand; repaired 8 water leaks; performed maintenance on 81 water meters; maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.
