City staff members for the past few weeks joined Mayor Ed Johnson and members of local military service organizations for meetings at the Brightmoor-Southern Ground Amphitheater and the American Legion Log Cabin to plan the upcoming Fayette County 9-11 Tribute. 8/24 Held the weekly Management Team meeting in the Council Chambers Attended a meeting with Community & Economic Development Director David Rast, Economic Development Director Brian Wismer, IT Director 8/24 Kelvin Joiner, and Public Services Director Chris Hindman to discuss key access for the New City Hall Held a meeting with Jim Teel from GMC (project architects and engineers) 8/24 to discuss the New City Hall & City Center Park project 8/24 Responded to emails and completed correspondence for various projects Attended an evening meeting at Southern Ground Amphitheater to discuss the upcoming Fayette County 9-11 Tribute event Held a conference call with Robyn Harter from Complete Solutions and 8/25 Sourcing to discuss garbage compactor options for the New City Hall & City Center Park project and at two locations within the downtown area Held a meeting with Jeff Mellin from the Fayette County Master Gardeners 8/25 to discuss the butterfly garden 8/24
