The Fayetteville Police Department held a police use of force training session for the public. This training gives the public insight into process officers use when determining the appropriate use of force. 8/3

Discussed the Dixon Farms rezoning request with the developer’s legal counsel Baxter Russell

Held operations meetings with all department divisions, including Public Safety (Fire and Police), Community & Economic Development, Finance & Administrative Services, and Public Services

Held a meeting with City Clerk Anne Barksdale and Public Information Officer Ann Marie Burdett

Held the weekly meeting with Mayor Ed Johnson

Set up the City of the Coronavirus Relief Fund (CRF) that is part of the Cares Act and reviewed the terms and conditions

Met with Fayette County Manager Steve Rapson and Public Works & Engineering Director Phil Mallon to discuss access possibilities for the Bus Barn and Gymnasium as they are redeveloped
