INFINITY GLAM GROUP The City of Fayetteville welcomed Infinity Glam Group to the community with a ceremonial ribbon cutting as they opened their doors to the public for the first time on September 27.

CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: City Clerks attended staff meetings on 9/23; Met with Daisy Hill Farm Event Center Director for possible location of future City events meetings on 9/24; Met with Christopher Jones from Secure Records Solutions to discuss document scanning and retention on 9/25.

Projects: Continued work on Public Facilities Authority Terms of Engagement documents; Submitted final legal ad for upcoming municipal elections on November 5, 2019; Setup Ribbon Cutting for Infinity glam Group on 9/27; Working on City of Fayetteville Board/Committee Member appointment announcement.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 62 new; 58 closed.

Projects: Continued New City Hall technology requirements list; Installed cabling for access points; Completed software training in Atlanta; Installing two new servers at FVPD; Replaced fire tablets with HDMI extenders.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Began downtown road network planning with the City’s engineering consultant to accommodate future growth and development; Began extensive preparations for federal trails grant application due 10/11/2019; Attended F.C.D.A.* monthly board meeting and provided updates on City developments; Completed GIS mapping of the City’s Tax Allocation District.

Main Street: Met with City Communications Team and other partners to plan logistics and promotions for the Great Pumpkin Festival Event; Exterior cleaning of Train Depot event center.

Downtown Development Authority: Book signing event at the HDF Museum on 9/28; Staff and volunteers are actively preparing for upcoming Cemetery Walk Event.

City Hall Project: Utility coordination with AGL in preparation for site work next month; Coordination with contractor to begin preparation of demo permits. *Fayette County Development Authority (F.C.D.A)

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DAVID RAST Meetings: Weekly Huddle meeting; Planning and Zoning Commission meeting; BlueBeam plan review software training; The City’s Code Enforcement Officers attended the Georgia Association of Code Enforcement (GACE) conference in Athens during the week.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Community Engagement: The C.A.R.E. unit* provided Old Navy with coloring books for their Safety Awareness Day of Saturday; Participated in the Dragon Boat Festival.

Training: Two officers attended and received advance training at GPSTC*; Two new officers prepare to start the Police Academy at GPSTC next week.

No new crime trends noted for the week. *Community Activity Resource and Education Unit (C.A.R.E.) *The Georgia Public Safety Training Center (G.P.S.T.C.)

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Community Engagement: Employees attended informational meetings regarding health insurance; T9 delivered fire safety education to children at Discovery Point Childcare; E92 provided friendly firefighter/firetruck tour for Old Navy Day. Projects: Chief’s Jones, Black, Peacock, City Manager, and Nella Cooper attended Lexipol webinar to continue the onboarding process with the knowledge management system (KMS); Fire Marshal Bill Rieck attended Bluebeam training in Atlanta.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall, Police Department; Mowed and maintained Cemetery, Prepped Veteran’s Parkway, Hood Ave. sidewalk, Forrest Ave. sidewalk, North highway 85 middle medians, Brandywine Blvd., Jimmy Mayfield sidewalk and right of way medians, Police Department; Trash Run at Patriot Park and Church Street Park.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.174 million gallons per day; Performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; Maintained wastewater plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.213 of system demand; Repaired 9 water leaks, Performed 12 water meter maintenance; Maintained water plant and remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: Implementation of Plan Source is complete and all data has been verified as being correctly loaded; We are turning our focus on the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; We will begin setting up training for all users in ClearCompay for Recruiting, Onboarding, Performance Management and Appraisals; We began the planning phase for the upcoming Benefits offering for the January 1 plan year.

Turn Over Report: There were no new employees hired and no employees terminated during the week of 9/23-9/29.
