CITY CLERK / DEPUTY CLERK ANNE BARKSDALE Meetings: City Clerks attended staff meetings on 9/16; Director meetings on 9/19; Attended the PFA meeting on 9/19 to sign loan documents; Attended the regular City Council meeting on 9/19.

Projects: Continued work on Public Facilities Authority Terms of Engagement documents; Worked on various GovDeals auction items for Fayetteville Fire Department, Auction will go live next week; Worked with Human Resources Department and fire inspection company to complete inspection report for City Hall.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY KELVIN JOINER Work orders: 47 new; 44 closed.

Projects: Continued New City Hall technology requirements list; Met with CPS on future conduit needs for the City Center Park; Completed wide area network setup for Station 93; Attended POW/MIA Day at Patriot Park and provided event support with PA system; Began working on the new phone system budget for the New City Hall project.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BRIAN WISMER Economic Development: Met with various downtown property owners to discuss their future business plans and operations.

Main Street: Held regular monthly Main Street & Promotions committee meetings on 9/17; Began preparations and logistics for the final series B concert, Departure (Journey tribute) on 9/21; Began preparing correspondence ot North Jeff Davis property owners to consider a new historic district.

Downtown Development Authority: Held regular monthly DDA meetings on 9/18.

City Hall Project: Attended final review meeting for security systems and wiring plan for entire site on 9/17; Additional review of proposed playground area layout and equipment; Review of conditions needed to lease old gym and bus barn properties; Asbestos study of all buildings completed in preparation for demoliton.

PIO / COMMUNICATIONS TEAM ANN MARIE BURDETT Promotions: 9/20 POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony; 9/21 Departure Concert; 9/28 The Saga of Doc Holliday event at Museum; 9/23 Pencil Art Contest; 10/25-26 The Great Pumpkin Festival.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DAVID RAST Construction Reviews & Inspections: Continued construction within the Pinewood Forest development, the new Hop City Craft Beer & Wine and Barley Garden Kitchen & Craft Bar; Construction within the Satterfield development along Hwy. 85, which includes the upcoming Tires Plus, RaceTrac, Freddy’s Frozen Custard, Aspen Dental, Tropical Smoothie, Stanton Optical & Eye Lab, and Chipotle; Fayette Self-storage off of West Lanier Avenue; and a retail building off Hwy. 85 N. Plans under Review: Meridian on the Square, which will be built on the corner of North Glynn Street and West Lanier Avenue; Panda Express off Hwy. 85; and Awkward Brewing, which will be located along Lee Street across from Fayetteville City Hall.

POLICE DEPARTMENT SCOTT GRAY Community Engagement: The CARE unit gave a safety presentation at the Kiddie Kottage; The FVPD coordinated the law enforcement response to Fayetteville Elementary’s 5K run.

Training: 5 officers attended and received advance training at GPSTC. Personnel: Officer Gonzalez has completed the police academy and is assigned to a FTO; 2 new officers are preparing to begin the police academy; A new records clerk has been hired for the front office.

SPECIAL NOTE: We have seen a decrease in entering autos. But we would like to remind the public to please continue to lock your vehicles.

FIRE DEPARTMENT ALAN JONES Community Engagement: Dr Swinson and the Dr Fogle Dental Group provided lunch in recognition and support for the community work performed by Public Safety; In honor of the hardwork and service provided by the firefighters the Fayetteville First Baptist Church provied a luncheon; Units from the Fayetteville Fire Department deonstrated support by attending the POW/MIA program held at Patriot Park.

Personnel: Annual physicals were performed by Summit Health Care at Station 91; Projects: Chief Jones and Chief Black attended the Lexipol webinar to begin the on boarding process for policies and procedures; The next Lexipol webinar will be held on September 25, 2019 to continue the on boarding process; The NFORS(data analytics system) agreement signed and waiting for the on boarding process to begin.

PUBLIC SERVICES CHRIS HINDMAN Public Works: Cleaned City Hall, Police Department, Mowed and maintained East Lanier Ave from Jeff Davis to Knight Way, New Hope Road, Memorial at Patriot Park, White Road, City lakes at Dickson Spring Park, City lake at Pye Court, Medians and Right of way on East Lanier Ave, Grady Ave to Meeting Place Drive., Cart Path, Stonewall Ave from Tiger Trail to Bennett St., inside of Amphitheater; Sidewalk work on Sunderland Cir, Trash Run in the square and Church Street Park.

Sewer: Average daily flow treated is 2.182 million gallons per day, Performed weekly maintenance at 26 lift stations sites; Maintained wastewater plant remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Water: Average daily flow of 1.342 of system demand, Repaired 8 water leaks, Performed 40 water meter maintenance, Maintained water plant remained in compliance of our permit requirements.

Utility Locates: 96

HUMAN RESOURCES NELLA COOPER Personnel: Implementation of Plan Source, the Benefits Administration system was completed on 9/16/19 with the final clean-up of data being completed 9/25/19; We are turning our focus on the implementation of the Performance Management and Performance Appraisals platform on ClearCompany; Training will begin to be setup for all users in ClearCompay for Recruiting, On-Boarding, Performance management and Appraisals; We began the planning phase for the upcoming Benefits offering for the January 1 plan year.

Turn Over Report: There were two new employees hired and no employees terminated; There are 6 vacant positions; 1 in Waste Water, 2 in Public Works, 2 in Police and 1 in Fire. Creating the following Employment Opportunities: ¡¡ Waste Water Plant Operator ¡¡ Public Works Maintenance Worker ¡¡ Police Officer (Certified and Non-Certified) ¡¡ Fire Fighter
