New City Hall opens in June
NEW CITY HALL OPENS IN JUNE The new Fayetteville City Hall is in its final stages of completion, and City staff are expected to move into it in early June. The ”old” City Hall located at 240 South Glynn Street will remain open until shortly before
the new City Hall at 210 Stonewall Avenue West opens for business. Updates on closures and openings will be posted on social media and www.Fayetteville-GA.gov/News. Over the years, as the City has grown and added staff members,
many have been relocated offcampus to other office locations. The new City Hall will see those staff members return under its roof, which will help increase the City’s operational efficiency.
The new Fayetteville City Hall features a stately atrium (left), a patio overlooking City Center Park (above), collaborative work spaces (below), and a more user-friendly Customer Service area (bottom).

CITY CENTER PARK OPENS JULY 17 Construction on the highly-anticipated Fayetteville City Center Park is nearly complete, and City leaders are planning a grand opening for Saturday, July 17. The new park, located directly behind the new Fayetteville City Hall, features an imaginative splash pad, an adventuresome playground, a tot lot for younger children, a double dog park, and a great lawn flanked by pavilions and seating areas. The stormwater pond has been landscaped to serve as
an aesthetically pleasing feature complete with a walk-around sidewalk. The park will be open to the public beginning July 17. In the meantime, it is considered a construction site, so the public is asked to avoid the area for safety reasons. The City’s Main Street Fayetteville personnel are busy planning a fun summer and fall full of activities in the new City Center Park, and details will be available on social media as well as on the City’s website: www. Fayetteville-GA.gov/ News.

CUT THE GRASS Grass and weeds may not exceed 12 inches in height on property that has a house, dwelling, or commercial, industrial, or institutional structure. Fayetteville Code Section 58-34
Keeping grass short looks nicer, and it helps keep pests away!
