Dear Foundation Member Thank you for honouring us with your presence on the occasion of the 40th Anniversary of the establishment of the Veneto Club. Many challenges were met in establishing the Club back in 1973 and we are grateful to you for all your efforts to put us on the road to success. It is your hard work and vision that built this Club to provide the people of Veneto with a place to get together and share their culture. The Club has evolved into one of the most successful and biggest Italian clubs in Victoria, if not Australia. All clubs have their ups and downs, and it is those that can meet challenges and evolve that succeed. Each generation brings different needs and different solutions, especially for a Club established in Australia with links to another culture. The Veneto Club has played a strong role in the bridging of Italian and Australian culture - part of the story of the success of multiculturalism in Australia.
