RELAZIONE DEL PRESIDENTE Colla, G. Gatto e P. Busatto, ai campionati mondiali in Francia a Monaco, dove hanno difeso i colori australiani. Un ringraziamento alla sezione bocciofila femminile, non solo per partecipare con onore ai vari tornei, ma soprattutto per it lavoro che si assume di servizio ed organizzazione in occasione di gare al club Desidero esprimere un grazie al sottocomitato giovanile che ha saputo crearsi una solida ed efficiente organizzazione seguendo i suggerimenti dell'avveduto nostrc nostro tesoriere S. Chiocchetti. Le stesse espressioni di gratitudine vadano ai nostri sottocomitati del tennis e del calcio. Hanno organizzato numerosi tornei e feste ed hanno lavorato per raggiungere un traguardo di successi di cui oggi possono dirsi fieri e pienamente soddisfatti. Un ringraziamento a tutti gli altri sottocomitati sportivi: Sport Spring Carneval, Cacciatori, Basketball, Netball. Squash, che contribuiscono a formare l'ossatura del nostro sodalizio, e a tutti coloro che partecipano alle gare. PRESIDENT'S REPORT Another twelve months have elapsed since my last report and I am once again pleased to announce that this year the Veneto Social Club has enjoyed many social, recreative, cultural and sporting activities, all of which constitute an important «meeting point» for the members from our veneto community. The financial status of our club is excellent and the merit for all that has been achieved in the past twelve months must go to the Management Committee for their hard work and commitment. My warmest thanks goes to all our voluntary members, to the auxilary ladies and their voluntary friends and the sporting and cultural sub-committees. Their support has been a determining factor in the success we have achieved. During the year a special metting was held with the purpose of revising our constitution. This revision was to be in relation to the participation of the ordinary women members in more responsible duties pertaining to the Management Committee. Such a decision however, has not yet been finalized since we are awaiting the decision of the Equal Opportunity Board. In relation to this decision the necessary modifications will then be made. With the financial contribution of the auxilary ladies, a room now renamed «The Convention Room», has been tastefully and elegantly decorated and furnished. This room can now be used for the purpose of meetings and conferences. Furthermore, a press gallery and grandstand have been constructed on the side of the soccer ground. The «covered» stand can accomodate approximately 100 persons - who are willing to provide themselves with a «Golden Pass». The pass costs 100 dollars and will enable the holders to enjoy soccer matches from a privileged position. The renovations being carried out in the entrance foyer and in the San Marco room will certainly give these rooms a more modern appearance. It is hoped that these renovations will be finished very soon. And now a brief mention of the various subcommittees and groups, all of which constitute the very soul of all our activities. Above all I would like to mention the auxilary ladies who have achieved great success this year. We are proud of them. The Bocce players, comprising Mr. E. Colla, G. Gatto and P. Gusatto, that have proved to be amongst the best in Australia, and have demonstrated their sporting ability by participating in the World Championships in France and Monaco. A «thank-you» to the women's section of the Bocce, not only for their excellent participation in various competitions, but above all for their hard work in the organizing and servicing of competitions held at the club. I would like to express my gratitude to the youth subcommittee, that in following the suggestions of our wise Treasurer S. Chiocchetti, has been able to build a solid and efficient organization. Similar expressions of gratitude go to our tennis and soccer sub-committees. They have both organized numerous sporting events and social functions and they have worked hard to achieve the success of which they can be proud. Thank-you to

all other sporting sub-committees: Sport Spring Cameval, the Hunters, Basketball, Netball and Squash, that have contributed in forming the backbone of our association; as well as to all those that participate in the competitions. Along with all my gratitude, my compliments and best wishes for future success go to the Choir, that has become the pride of our club. Organized by Mario Bonis, Tom Angoletti and Silvano Zanta, the game of Bingo has also achieved excellent results. However I would be pleased to see the wives of members and their friends spend a pleasant evening in a friendly atmosphere playing a game of Bingo at the club. During the year we have had the honour of being host to many personalities, both Italian and Australian, that have shown interest and appreciation for our club and for its magnificent sporting and social structures. The Veneto associations that regularly frequent the club express similar sentiments and I am very pleased with their participation in our social activities. I must not forget to mention the immense help received from our lawyer Loris Sartori and from our financial advisors D. Barro, F. Garzola, C. Bernardi, J. Cabion. Their work has been much appreciated by us all. Finally, an affectionate greeting and a «thank-you» to all members and to all those people who in different ways, have contributed to the success of the varied activities of our association. A thank-you to the personnel of the club, all of whom work with exemplary enthusiasm; to the cay. Tutto quello che ho potuto realizzare e dovuto a molti che mi hanno aiutato moralmente e materialmente. In particolare vorrei nominare it presidente Rino Tessarotto e i componenti del suo comitato, it signor Agostino Martini, Liaison Officer, le signore del comitato femminile, le decine di soci e mogli di questi che lavorano gratuitamente e indefessamente per il club. Nel gran numero di feste ed altre manifestazioni organizzate in cede devo riconoscere che it merito di un costante successo va al personale della cucina, del bar, e a tutti gli altri impiegati che hanno dimostrato in ogni circostanza, anche nei momenti piu impegnativi, quanto attiva e preziosa sia la loro collaborazione. Mi sento fiero e lusingato che il Veneto Club, con progressivi miglioramenti, si sia qualificato come un club «elite» per la collettivita del Victoria. Dal lavoro che ho svolto in sordina fin dal 1967 ancor prima della costruzione, ai traguardi raggiunti oggigiorno, si registrato un costante progresso verso mete di prestigio. Cie:, mi lusinga e mi onora. E' quindi con animo sereno e orgoglioso che ci predisponiamo, tutti insieme, a celebrare it ventennale del Veneto Social Club.

Dal Direttore del Club E' bello presentarsi concludendo un altro anno soddisfacente, ma non dimentico peril che inizia it prossimo, e mi sento stimolato alla realizzazione di nuovi miglioramenti dopo quelli gia ottenuti in ogni settore nel trascorso anno sociale.

La carica che ricopro da oltre 11 anni non mi da modo di poter presentarmi con temi diversi, e pertanto mi ripeto puntualmente, anno dopo anno, con un grazie di cuore ai miei collaboratori. Innanzitutto al direttore cay. Rolando Di Bari che, come da not tutti preventivato, non ci hasorpreso fin dal rientro per le sue capacita organizzative. A Davide Barbieri coordinatore dei soci baristi volontari. Alle signore che si prodigano ogni domenica nel servizio della Sala San Marco. Ai collaboratori dei picnics, alle signore del comitato Lady's Auxiliary; al sottocomitato della sezione bocciofila; ed infine a tutto il personale effettivo unitamente a quello occasionale. A tutti un vivo riconoscimento di apprezzamento e gratitudine. E' per me motivo di grande soddisfazione vedere vivere e crescere giornalmente il Club; vederne i miglioramenti, frutto di un lavoro programmato nel passato, e che si espandono con continui successi. Grazie ai soci, agli organizzatori, agli sportivi, ai simpatizzanti, it nostro nome é citato ad esempio a tutta la collettivita italiana. Prima di concludere devo confessare di sentirmi lusingato e felice quando moltissimi soci, scherzosamente mi dicono che dedico it mio tempo, 7 giorni alla settimana, piu al Veneto Club che a casa mia. Cie) dimostra che ho stabilito un successo familiare e professionale. Ora il Club 6 it mio vero centro di interesse. Desidero che si espanda continuamente a beneficio anche delle generazioni che ci seguiranno lasciando it marchio di lavoro, onesta e attaccamento alla nostra terra di origine e alle nostre tradizioni. Ladies Auxiliary E' trascorso un altro anno e per le molte iniziative promosse e le manifestazioni da not organizzate o alle quali abbiamo dato it nostro valido contributo di servizio e collaborazione, abbiamo avuto i nostri motivi di soddisfazione. Mi congratulo con le signorine che hanno partecipato al concorso di Miss Veneto Social Club: Susy Gasparotto Miss Veneto e Sandra Bonomo Charity Queen del Club e Charity Princess all'Italian Community Quest. Grazie Susy e Sandra, a voi e alle vostre famiglie per l'ottimo lavoro eseguito. Ringrazio la nostra cara presidente signora Fulvia

Barbieri e le mie colleghe per it supporto da loro avuto durance l'anno. Nonostante siamo in poche, cerchiamo di contribuire al progresso ed alto sviluppo del nostro club svolgendo con impegno it nostro compito sociale ed organizzativo. CALCIO VENETO 1985/86 was an extremely successful year for the soccer at the Veneto Club, especially for the seniors. We were able to win the championship with such style that left many of our opponents gasping for breath. To top off this success we came within a hair's breath of taking away the Italian Cup. We owe this success to many people who gave us so much support throughout the year. The players and coaches who gave their all to ensure that success was on the board week after week. The committee who worked behind the scene - the members of the Veneto Club who would and still do follow the team each week and who create this special commitment to the game. During 1986 the Main Veneto Social Committee gave approval of the erection of the enclosed grandstand above the kiosk. This great asset not only sits approximately 80-90 people but it has created a source of revenue for the running of soccer. The Gold Passes which have been sold for the seating, has ensured a dedicated commitment from our members for the benefit of the game. We must pay tribute to the foresight of Camillo Bros. and Barro Group of Companies for their support in the building of the stand. Also during 1986 we saw the erection of the huge floodlights which are a tremendous asset for the game. During the Coppa Italia we saw how well the lights worked and also in the usage during the Bulleen Veneto Junior Tournament when night games were played. We were able to attract many hundreds of people to these games. At our General Annual Meeting of 1986, we saw the election of a new committee comprising of 19 members. Although this is a large committee compared to previous years, it is hoped that the burden of responsibility will be more sparesly shared and that this will contribute to a better run and organized committee. The committee is chaired once again by Piero Simeoni who manages us all very well. With this large committee I hope that the supporters and also the parents of the juniors will be better able to relate to the 'committee. Hopefully also with the roster system that our Junior Secretary, Nory Barbieri has worked out that many junior parents, especially fathers, will be able to feel that they can contribute to the game that their sons are playing in. In Nory Barbieri, the juniors have a very capable and approachable secretary that is only too willing to help. A great meeting place is our kiosk which is run so capably by Anna Pozzabbon and her kiosk ladies; These ladies are really the backbone of soccer who contribute towards the very heart of the running of the teams. With this said, I am sure that there must be many mothers of the juniors who could spare some time behind the counter of the kiosk. I am sure that if you approached Anna, she would only be too glad to explain to you how you could help. I would like to thank once again Ray Rostolis for his never ending work around the soccer area and also to an early bird in Mr. Pizzatto who is our groundsman. JUNIOR SOCCER REPORT During the pre-season months of March and April we successfully ran the annual Bulleen/ Veneto Soccer Cup tournament with a total of 10 clubs being represented in age groups from U.10 to U.16. We had «old faithfuls» such as Juventus, Thomastown and Essendon/Triestina with new corners to the competition like Forest Hill, Regent, Doncaster Rovers, Bundoora, Werribee and Broadmeadows. We handled approximately 960 junior players and must thank all participating club secretaries who organized their representatives (a hard thing to do so early in the season). We were naturally disappointed that our U.16 were the only team to make the finals with our U.15 being extremely unlucky to miss out on goal difference of «1». Our congratulations to the winners namely U.10 Juventus, U.11 - Regent, U.12 - Juventus, U.13 Doncaster Rovers, U.14 - Thomastown, U.15 Doncaster Rovers and U.16 - Bulleen. Bulleen and Juventus battled out their U.16 final in a skilful display of soccer which was marred only by the behaviour of the Juventus coach which was to say the least, undesirable. The Bulleen/Veneto Cup would not have been such a success if it were not for our joint sponsors, Messrs. De Maio of The Original El Calamaro Restaurant and Messrs. Raschella of Magic Kitchen & Bathroom and the Organizing Committee would like to extend its gratitude for their generosity. This year, for the first time we also ran a raffle with prizes being donated by Boemo Engineering, Mingarelli Tiles and GEC Electrical Wholesalers and not forgetting Mr. Maurice Bonfeini of Maurice Printing who kindly donated raffle tickets. I would venture to report that the Bulleen/Veneto Junior Soccer Cup 1987 was the biggest and best ever with all visitors expressing their admiration of the facilities at the Veneto Club, facilities which far too often we take for granted. Our Juniors are now two rounds into the Championship Season and for the first time we have a «baby team>, of U.9 (average age 7) taking to the pitch and oif these players one may seem to have exceptionally long hair but we, at the Bulleen/Veneto Junior Soccer Club being an «equal opportunity» club give all corners a chance regardless of sex (in this age group that is). Perhaps this may encourage more girls to borrow their brothers soccer boots and join her. Our U.10 is showing a lot of promise, even at this early stage and under the coaching of Renzo Franceschini will no doubt improve. Our U. 11 are lacking a bit of drive at this time but considering the fact that they have a few underage players we should see improvement in the near future. The U.12 were fortunate to recruit an excellent coach in Henry Gatt, a regional coach who is co-ordinating them into a skilful team. We come to our U.14 under the direction of Gildo Biasol, who showed great promise in the Bulleen Cup by beating Broadmeadows 15-1.

Vince Maramma is in charge of our U.15 and although rather short of boys they are full of Fighting spirit and are aiming for the top. Coaching U.16 boys requires nerves of steel and patielnce of a Saint and Luciano Fioravanti has tese, the talent is there and we are confident he will bring it to the surface. All our Junior Teams have been placed in «A» Division and this should be taken as a mark of respect for our boys. 1987 is a year of setting precedents, we now have a Junior Sub-Committee looking after out interests and is made up of:- Mr L. Santolin, Mr B. Petrocco, Mr B. Agnoletto, Mr R. Rigo, Mr M. Baldi and Mr B. Bianco with Frank Barbieri in charge of Junior Coaches. These members will be rostered to co-ordinate and supervise proceedings during home games and are readily available for assistance. Nory Barbieri Junior Secretary

Dal Chairman del Building Sub- Committee Anche l'anno 1986/87, per questo sottocomitato, stato uno di quelli che ci ha lasciato... poco tempo per dormire. I lavori sono stati tanti e decisivamente motto impegnativi, principalmente quelli dedicati agli sports in generale, ed in modo particolare al calcio. Abbiamo portato a termine le tribune lungo to Yarra, che ora hanno una capacity di oltre 600 posti a sedere. Un'opera che ha potuto essere realizzata anche grazie alla mano d'opera gratuita ed ai generosi donatori di materiali. Un sentito ringraziamento a tutti. Inoltre sempre sui campi di calcio, abbiamo rinnovato illuminazione. Ora possiamo contare su 4 pitoni di 18 metri d'altezza, che rischiara a giorno tutta la zona adiacente. Un impianto motto costoso, che ben pochi possono vantare. Poi abbiamo anche costruito la saletta sopra il kiosk, con annessa tribuna, chiusa con una elegante vetrata. Un lavoro veramente bello e molto apprezzato, costruito a tempo di record. Ed anche per questa opera it lavoro ed i materiali donati sono stati determ inanti. Grazie. Spero che it sottocomitato di calcio, non sia orgoglioso solo per i lavori che sono stati fatti, ma abbia cura degli impianti stessi. Se questi saranno ben curati, ordinati e puliti e se sara controllato a dovere it consumo dell'energia elettrica, ecc., allora potranno essere orgogliosi sia per quello che possono disporre che per it prestigio e l'interesse che daranno al club.

Ci siamo ricordati anche del Bocciodromo. Anche li abbiamo rinnovato l'impianto elettrico, dando cosi la possibility anche ai...non pia giovani, di poter pia facilmente centrare it boccino. Un altro grande lavoro e stato i1 rinnovamento della tubatura principale dell'acqua. E' stata divelta quella vecchia, in—ferra_galvanizzato e rimpiazzata con una nuova, di materiale plastico speciale. Questo anche dietro consiglio del Board of Works. Un altro sostanzioso lavoro a stato fatto net mezzanino «floor», rifinito e arredato con mobili nuovi. Ora to chiameremo «Convention Room». Un locale che puo ospitare degnamente qualsiasi V.I.P. Manutenzlone del Club. Una voce che dice motto e che comprende una serie infinita di lavori e attenzioni. Ce sempre qualcosa che non funziona bene o che si rompe. Tanti di questi lavori vengono eseguiti dai membri del sottocomitato addetto. Tutti li conosciamo. Motto spesso li vediamo affaccendati per far si che il club, con le sue molteplici attivita., non abbia a soffrire. Una vera dedizione che porta al club non indifferent vantaggi. E' per questo voglio elogiare e ringraziare Raimondo Rostolis, che con l'aiuto di Silvan Zanta e Piero Ferronato sono veramente instancabili. Peril futuro abbiamo alto studio altri lavori che pero richiederanno del tempo e....molto denaro. E fra questi it recinto del club, lungo la Bulleen Road,(incluso l'ingresso) l'illuminazione dei campi di tennis, soffitto e illuminazione della sala San Marco ed eventuali illuminazione e soffitto del Salone Venezia. Per avere phi idee, abbiamo consultato diversi architetti. Ma it nostro riconoscimento, va phi di tutto al eigYaliere Erminio Smrekar. E' sempre stato di valido aiuto in tutti i nostri lavori. E i suoi suggerimenti sono stati preziosi. Vandalismi. Purtroppo sono sempre all'ordine del giorno. Scarsa pulizia, mozziconi di sigarette sui tappeti, graffiature sulle rampe delle scale e sui muri, ecc. Sono veramente troppi. Ma quello che pia ci dispiace vedere 6 la trascuratezza e tante volte la complicity dei grandi, che a volte a peggiore di quella dei bambini. Vorrei ricordare un vecchio detto: «La pulizia sta bene anche nella casa del diavolo», mentre noi abitiamo in una casa....«Paradiso». E it nostro club 6 veramente un paradiso. RELAZIONE CORO Alla chiusura dell'anno sociale 1986-87 it nostro coro compie it dodicesimo anno di vita (1975 - 1987). Durante questo lungo periodo abbiamo partecipato in rappresentanza del Veneto Social Club a qualche centinaio di manifestazioni Sociali e Comunitarie, Concerti folcloristici, Festival, Concerti Operistici e di beneficienza, Funzioni di rappresentanza, Messe cantate per la nostra comunita ed altre comunita etniche. A tutt'oggi siamo stati invitati ed abbiamo partecipato a manifestazioni in quattro Stati d'Australia e cioe: Victoria, N.S.W., South Australia e per ultimo, nel marzo scorso siamo stati invitati in Tasmania per it centocinquantesimo anniversario della fondazione della citta di Launceston, dove abbiamo cantato la S.Messa solenne in latino, alla Cattedrale ed intrattenuto it pubblico durante it Festival. Questa 6 stata una delle nostre migliori manifestazioni e l'ambasciatore italiano, dr. Da Rin ha voluto congratularsi personalmente con tutti i coristi. A nche per note stato un bellissimo fine settimana: abbiamo visitato i posti caratteristici e storici della citta, tutti assieme, in allegria. Da diversi mesi, it nostro coro maschile si trasformato in coro misto, con l'introduzione di otto giovani voci femminili, questo ha gia dato piu vitalita al nostro gruppo e ci permettera di guardare con piu fiducia al futuro. Come si vede da questa breve relazione, siamo sempre piuttosto occupati perche, fra prove e manifestazioni se ne va gran parte del nostro tempo, cosidetto di ÂŤriposoÂť ma siamo pure orgogliosi e soddisfatti dei successi conseguiti. The club continues to compete in the Club Circuit Competition which is run in conjunction with the Squash Rackets Association of Victoria. Two pennant competitions are held annually and currently the 1987 Autumn Season is in progress and will be completed late in June. The club has a representation of 5 teams in the competition.

Once again the section wishes to express its appreciation to the Bar and Kitchen Staff of the Club for their xcellent services on pennant nights when we are hosts to the many visiting Squash Club. Autumn Pennant 1986

The club had one of its most successful seasons in Autumn 1986. The no.1 team, captained by Ron Barbano went through the season undefeated and subsequently went on to win the premiership with a clean sweep 4-0 win over the Hawthorn Club. Two other teams also had good seasons; however had to settle for runners-up pennants. The C reserve grade team, led by Sam Aliotta, was defeated by the North Suburban Club in the final and Sam Magnano's, F grade team, also went down to that club. Best players for the season: B Reserve Grade, Mario Siliato; C I Grade, Carmen Lardo;, C Reserve Grade, Sam Alliotta; D I Grade, Joe Macciocca; D 2 Grade, Angelo A ntignani; F I Grade, Sam Magnano.

Spring Pennant 1986

This season, as a result of its success in the previous season, saw three of the club's teams win promotion. Most severely hit was no. I team, which was lifted two grades to the B 1 division. This regrading proved a little too harsh for our team and although they improved during the second round could only manage 7th place. The club was forced to reduce its team entries to 5 this season due to the loss of a number of players. This is of concern to the committee and we urgently seek the interest of any potential players. The club's no.2 team, captained by Carmen Lardo, achieved the best results for the season. Competing in the C 1 grade the team did well to defeat the Mulgrave Country Club in the semi-final but found the North Suburban Club too strong in the final. Best players for the season: B I Grade, Mario Siliato; C ce Grade, John Coleman; C Reserve Grade, Sam Aliotta, D 1 Grade Frans Bos (count back from John Schilaci), E Reserve Grade, Aldo A menta.

Club Championship

The 1986 Club Championship was held in July and was possibly the most successful yet held. Twenty-four players competed and resulted in a victory for the club's no. 1 player, Mario Siliato. Mario defeated young Shane Dal Santo 3-2 in an excellent final. Shane, son of John Dal Santo, is only 16 years old and has a great future ahead of him. A handicap event, held in conjunction with the championship, also proved most successful and was finally won by Dominic De Stefanis who defeated Joe Macciocca 73-72 after an extra 5 minutes was played. Spring Sports Carnival

The section conducted a teams squash tournament in conjunction with the Spring Carnival. Unfortunately injuries to some Veneto players prevented the club from fielding a full strength team. The tournament was won by the Fogolar Furlan Club which defeated the Casa D'Abruzzo Club in the final.

ENTE VICENTINI NEL MONDO Dato che quest'anno si celebra it 21mo anniversario dell'Ente Vicentini net mondo, mi sento entusiasta net cogliere l'occasione della pubblicazione del Rapporto A nnuale del Veneto Social Club per portare a conoscenza dei soci parte del discorso del dot/. Danilo Longhi, presidente dell'Ente Vicentini net mondo, all'ultima riunione generale dell'Ente. oCon it 1987 it nostro Ente a entrato net suo ventunesimo anno di vita. Un periodo che to ha visto svotgere via via negli anni una serie di molteplici attivita e di importanti iniziative, passando da un'opera quasi esclusivamente assistenziale ed organizzativa dei primi tempi ad una piu qualificata ed incisiva presenza fra gli emigrati ed in tutte quelle sedi ove per l'emigrazione si opera e si lavora. Anche del 1986, che pet it mondo migratorio ha registrato momenti e risultati di non poco rilievo, possiamo dare un bilancio che riteniamo positivo». E stata insediata alla fine di agosto con la nomina a presidente dell'avv. AnseImo Boldrin, ex-assessore regionale ai servizi sociali. La Consulta, costituita con legge n. 28 del 19 giugno 1984, 6 composta da 52 membri, di cui 25 emigrati all'estero indicati dalle 9 Associazioni dell'emigrazione che al pari del nostro Ente operano net Veneto con carattere di continuity svolgendo funzioni di servizio sociale, culturale e assistenziale. 11 nostro Ente, in stretta e costante cotlaborazione con le Associazioni emigranti di Belluno, Padova, Rovigo, Treviso e Verona, costituitesi da 15 anni in Comitato Veneto dell'Emigrazione, continuera ad adoperarsi per raggiungere gli obiettivi che Ia legge stabilisce, stimolandone una gestione it pit" possibile efficace e puntuale.

I Circoli Sono 33, di cui I I in Svizzera, 3 in Francia. 2 in Belgio, I in Lussemburgo. I in Argentina. I in Uruguay, I in Brasile, I in Venezuela, 6 in Canada, 5 in Australia e I in Sud Africa. Hanno finality sociali, culturali e ricreative. Forse ne parliamo troppo poco, anche se Ii mettiamo nelle pagine di «Vicentini net monclow essi invece sono punti di riferimento e di appoggio, sempre validissimi, per qualsiasi iniziativa o pr4osta di carattere sociale, culturale ed economico. Quaint) mai lodevole, infine, Ia costituzione in seno ad alcuni nostri Circoli dei «gruppi giovani», cioe dei ligli e nipoti di nostri emigrati, che pur vivendo lontani dal paese di origine, ne sentono prepotente it richiamo anche se non vi sono nati. L'Ente continuera ad incoraggiare i nostri sodalizi a dare In spazio piu awl() a questi giovani, ad organizzare programmi atti a far torn conoscere Ia terra d'origine dei padri in tutti i suoi aspetti, visto che si rivelano fortemente interessati alla riscoperta delle «radici».

ASSOCIAZIONE PADOVANI NEL MONDO L'associazione ÂŤPadovani nel MondoÂť a stata formats in 'aprile del 1986, i pochi iscritti di allora in breve tempo sono via via aumentati, ed oggi abbiamo circa 120 sod in regola con la tessera.

Desikro ringraziare it nostro assistente religioso padre R. Birollo per i consigli e l'aiuto che ci ha sempre dato. 11 primo ed it secondo comitato per la loro dedizione e per it lavoro svolto nel difficile periodo iniziale. Un ringraziamento al Veneto Social Club che ci ospita e per finire un grazie di cuore a tutti i soci, amici e simpatizzanti che ci hanno seguito ed aiutato. Walter Ref fo Presidente

Malgrado le difficolta iniziali, siamo riusciti ad organizzare in luglio dello stesso anno iI nostro primc Dinner-Dance Sociale con una partecipazionedi soci ed amici, ben superiore alle nostre piix rosee aspettative. In novembre, abbiamo pure organizzato i1 nostro primc Picnic, pure con una buona affluenza di soci. Quest'anno a marzo a stata tenuta la nostra prima Assemblea Generale per l'elezione del nuovo gruppc direttivo, it quale si 6 messo subito al lavoro organizzando una gita sociale ad Echuca. Siamo partiti con tre bus al completo ed a giudizio dei partecipanti stato un vero successo. Ora it nostro comitato sta lavorando per l'organizzaione della Cena-Danzante annuale che coincide con la correnza di S. Antonio da Padova, del 13 giugno e pet S. Messa speciale per i Padovani al Villaggio Vaccari .iel 14 giugno che sara celebrata dal nostro assistente religioso padre Remigio Birollo alle ore 11.00 a.m.. Come si pub vedere da questa breve relazione, in un solo anno siamo riusciti a formare un'associazione gia forte ed efficiente, questo 6 stato possibile, grazie all'entusiastico supporto dei soci ed amid che hanno partecipato compatti alle nostre manifestazioni sociali.

Relazione del Tesoriere Carissimi amici veneti E' con particolare piacere che mi rivolgo al presidente, al comitato direttivo e ai soci del Veneto Club per esporre la relazione dei fatti pin salienti relativi alla nostra attivita sociale dell'anno 1986/87. II corrente anno ha visto it nostro sodalizio operare e svilupparsi con efficacia e continuity, tali da rendere i1 nostro club un modello per la vita associativa della comunita italiana. Mi a quindi gradita questa occasione per ringraziare it mostro manager cay. Rolando Di Bari, il personale d'ufficio e d'amminstrazione e tutti i dipendenti del club, per la loro collaborazione. Mi auguro che it futuro sia portatore di ulteriori successi e soddisfazioni. 11 club ha continuato a registrare un andamento finanziario positivo, con un utile di $33.177 nelle attivita di commercio, che ha portato a $155.401 it netto complessivo. Nonostante che questi incassi siano inferiori a quelli registrati 1'anno precedente, si puO sempre parlare di risultati positivi nell'attuale clima economico. I prezzi stabiliti per il servizio ristorante e bar sono stati mantenuti a una quota relativamente modesta. Non hanno subito gli aumenti dei generi di consumo. Cie e andato a beneficio dei soci e dei clienti, e naturalmente questi due settori hanno registrato un calo nelle entrate. Per altre attivita sociali e ricreative la diminuzione degli utili a stata di $5.759 (5 per cento). L'andamento delle manifestazioni giovanili a quello che pit' ha sofferto in perdite. Si 6 registrata una flessione di $34.282 (44 per cento), fortunatamente compensata da incrementi provenienti da altri settori. Cie dimostra che

bisogna contare sui proventi di differenti manifestazioni ed attivita anzicche promuoverne solamente una o due. Le spese per il club e a beneficio dei soci dimostrano che it comitato ha prestato molta attenzione a che siano effettuate con scopi ben precisi e di utility sociale. Le spese di compre-vendita hanno subito un taglio di $9.234; quelle di carattere amministrativo sono rimaste stabili e quelle per coprire i costi di «proprieta» hanno subito un aumento di $18.255, aumento dovuto in gran parte al «deprezzamento», cioe a un fattore che sfugge in modo naturale ad ogni controllo. Il profitto nella compra-vendita di $33.177, benche inferiore a quello registrato 1'anno precedente, deve essere considerato in se stesso, nel suo valore obiettivo attuale, senza paragoni con gli utili del passato. Aggiunto ai contributi provenienti dalla maturazione degli «interessi» per un totale di $23.623 (un aumento di $6.352 pari al 37 per cento), it tesseramento dei soci, le donazioni del comitato delle Ladies Auxiliary, l'utile totale dell'anno sociale risulta di $155.401. Il bilancio finanziario positivo permette al club una maggiore stability economica con la diminuzione dei debiti. L'utile ci ha permesso 1'acquisto di beni per un totale di $120.082 ($24.246 in valori di scambio e $95.836 in beni immobili. II nostro debito esterno ha subito cosi un ribasso di $35.319.)

Treasurer's Report Dear fellow members, I, as treasurer, appreciate your continued work and support, and I am pleased to have this opportunity of thanking all the various persons without whom the smooth-running of the club would not be complete. The manager, the office and administration, personnel and all respective staff. The club has continued to operate in an efficient and economic basis providing a trading surplus of $33.177, and a net overall surplus of $155.401. Although these figures are lower than in previous years, the levels obtained in the past year are relatively good in the current economic climate. The restaurant and bar trading figures although slightly down on the previous year's show that prices charged to the members have not increased at the same rate as costs incurred in this area, an obvious benefit to the members. The other activity income has shown a decrease of $5759 (5 per cent) which wheh looked at closely reveals other positiye points. This ' area has reflected a substantial drop in income from youth functions of $34.282 (44 per cent) which has been compensated to a degree by income from other areas. It is more beneficial to receive revenue from a number of activities, rather than rely on one or two main areas. The overhead and operating expenses of the club for the year have shown that there has been awareness by the committee in monitoring these expenditures closely. The trading expenses have declined by an amount of $9234, whilst administration expenses have remained constant and property expenses have risen by $18255. More than half of the property expenses increase can be attributed to depreciation, a cost factor beyond anyone's control. The trading surplus of $33177, although down on the previous year's figures, should be looked at objectively on its own merits without comparison to the excellent results obtained in previous years. The achievement of the trading surplus is a credit to all parties concerned. The trading surplus has been supplemented by interest received of $23623 (an increase of $6352, 37 per cent), along with membership fees and donations from the ladies auxiliary, enabling a net surplus for the period of $155401. Looking at the balance sheet, the net surplus for the year of $155401 has led to a more stable asset backing for the club, while decreasing our external liabilities. The surplus has enabled an increase in assets for the period of $120082 ($24246 in current assets and $95836 in fixed assets) while at the same time decreasing our liabilities by $35319. This situation reinforces our own dependance without relying as heavily on outside parties as in prior years. Finally, there are many people who should be thanked, whom without their efforts the club would not he run in the efficient manner that it is. The manager and' his staff, with the running of the restaurant and other social functions. The various sub-committees, the ladies auxiliary, the youth group who not only provide funds for the operation of the club but also a service to the members and their children. The finance subcommittee for their guidance over the past year which

was much appreciated, and to the office staff for their continued good-work, my gratitude. Last but not least, to my fellow committee members, whom I would also like to thank for their part in another successful year. Sergio Chiocchetti Treasurer

The principal activity of the Club during the year ended 30th. April 1987 was to provide social amenities to its Members, and no significant changes in the nature of these activities occurred during the year.

The Net Surplus of the Club for the year amounted to $155,401 Income Tax is not applicable thereto.

There were no shares or debentures issued during the year.

5.

No payment of dividends as such are permitted under the Memorandum of Association of the Company.

6.

Since the end of the previous financial period there were no dividends paid or declared.

7.

No significant changes in the state of affairs of the Club occurred during the financial year.

8.

No matters or circumstances have arisen since the end of the financial year which significantly affected or may significantly affect the operations of the Club, the results of those operations, or the state of affairs of the Club in financial years subsequent to the financial year ended 30th. April, 1987.

9.

Since the 30th. April, 1986 no Member of the Committee has received or become entitled to receive a benefit not disclosed in the accounts, by reason of a contract between the Club and Members of the Committee.

10.

No options to shares in the Club have been granted during the year nor are there any options outstanding.

AUDITORS REPORT TO THE MEMBERS OF VENETO SOCIAL CLUB (A Company Limited by Guarantee)

I have audited the accompanying accounts in accordance with Australia n Auditing Standards. The Club has not provided for depreciation of buildings which are included in the Balance Sheet at the cost of $1257912 refer Note 2. This is a departure from a Statement of Accounting Standards issued by the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Australian Society of Accountants. In my opinion depreciation should be charged to the Income and Expenditur e Statement so as to absorb the cost of the buildings over their useful economic lives. The Club has not calculated the financial effect of this departure from the accounting standarr! and it is impracticable for me to estimate this. It is not practicah'...3 to establish accounting control over cash receipts and paymeni.s made in cash prior to their respective receipt or rayment by Club Sub-Commit tees. Accordingly, it was not practicable to extend my Audit Examination of such receipt and payments beyond verification of the amounts brought to account on the basis of the net movements of bank accounts of the Sub-Committees for the year under review. Subject to this limitation, and with the exception referred to above relating to depreciating buildings, in my opinion:-

the accompanying accounts which have been prepared under the historical cost convention are properly drawn up in accordance with the provisions of the Companies (Victoria) Code and so as to give a true and fair view of:â&#x20AC;&#x201D; (i)

the state of affairs of the Club at 30th.Apri1,1987 and the results for the year ended on that date: and

(ii)

the other matters required by Section 269 of that Code to be dealt with in the accounts:

the accounting records and other records and registers required by the Companies (Victoria) Code to be kept by the Company have been properly kept in accordance with the provisions of that Code.

Relazione del segretario E' con vero piacere che presento ai soci questa relazione dell'anno sociale che ha avuto termine it 10 aprile 1987. L'anno trascorso a stato caratterizzato da molti successi sia in campo sociale che finanziario, e non vi e dubbio che le prospettive per it futuro del Veneto Social Club siano ugualmente favorevoli. Dato che la situazione finanziaria del nostro club gode di un ottimo stato di salute, sono state prese dal comitato delle decisioni per lavori di miglioramento delle strutture sociali e ricreative a beneficio dei soci e per valorizzare it capitale di cvi disponiamo. I lavori pia sostanziali e pia «apparenti» riguardano: I) abbellimento della Sala San Marco, 2) entrata sulla Bulleen Road, 3) realizzazione della «saletta per conferenze». Mi sento in dovere di porgere un sentito ringraziaimento ai sottocomitati e a tutti i soci e alle ditte che con regolarita patrocinano le attivita del club. Senza it loro supporto non sarebbe possibile it successo finanziario del sodalizio. Mi congratulo con i gruppi sportivi che fanno onore al club, e con it Coro Veneto per le brillanti prestazioni di quest'anno. Mi sento di dover elogiare l'efficiente lavoro svolto dal personale d'ufficio. Un grazie particolare a Mario Bonis, John Cobain e Ketti Pezzin per la loro instancabile dedizione e prezioso supporto; a Rino Tessarotto ed ai membri del comitato per le direttive e la collaborazione; a Laurie Sartori per i consigli nella revisione della costituzione del club. In fine vorrei sollecitare i giovani soci a mostrare interesse per la vita del nostro club. Dipendera da loro se it futuro del club sara prosperoso. Autguro di cuore per un buon lavoro, coronato da successi, al nuovo comitato che entrera in carica per i prossimi dodici mesi. Eugenio Brazzale

Secretary's Report It is with great pleasure that I present the Secretary's Report for the year ended 30th April, 1987. The passed year has been one of great successes both socially and financially, and there is no doubt that the future holds bigger and better things for the Veneto Social Club of Melbourne. Given the strong financial position of the V.S.C., the Committee has made a number of decisions which will improve the facilities on offer to their members and at the same time improve the capital worth of the club. The more «visible» of these improvements will be 1) the refurnishing of the Sala San Marco, 2) the Bulleen Road entrance and 3) the establishment of the conference room. At this point, it would be remiss of me not to mention a vote of thanks to the various sub-committees and all members who regularly patronize the club, because without this support, financial success is not possible. I would also like to congratulate all sporting teams representing the club and the Veneto Social Club Choir for all their achievements during the year. I cannot commend highly enough the efforts of our office staff over the passed 12 months. My personal thanks go to Mario Bonis, John Cobain and Ketti Pezzin for their unrelenting loyalty and support; as well as to Rino Tessarotto and all committee members for their help and guidance; and to Laurie Sartori for his dedication and expertise in handling the very exacting and time consuming exercise of changing the Club's :onstitution. Finally, I urge the younger members within our ranks to show a greater interest in the running of our :tub, as it is with this section of the membership where the future lies. I wish the new committee all the very best for the forthcoming twelve months.

L'anno scorso in novembre, su proposta di Frank Spinosa ed assecondato dai membri del comitato, sono stato eletto alla carica di chairman del V.S.C. Shooters. Ringrazio tutti per Ia fiducia dimostratami e spero che Ia mia volonta, prestazione e lavoro possano risquotere meriti non inferiori a quelli di Frank, che ha servito it nostro comitato per ben undici anni con vane mansioni direttive. Questo augurio mi e stato formulato anche dal nostro presidente Rino Tessarotto dopo la nomina. Svolgo con impegno e soddisfazione it mio lavoro poiche sono anch'io un appassionato «shooter». In questi mesi, da quando sono alla direzione del comitato, mi sono proposto di procurare nuovi «sponsors» poiche penso che ogni sport abbia bisogno di loro per progredire ed ottenere risultati di prestigio, come ha bisogno di supporto, assistenza ed entusiasmo da ogni membro onde trarne soddisfazioni quale frufto e ricompensa dello stesso sport esercitato. Sezione Bocciofila Femminile L'anno 1986-87 si e concluso con una serie di meritate vittorie per le bocciste venete. Le poche rimaste continuano con onore a tenere alto it prestigio del Club e ancora una volta si sono aggiudicate it otrofeo di Club Campione” per l'anno '86-87. II sottocomitato si congratula con le giocatrici che con volonta e tenacia si sono impegnate per tutto l'anno. Come sempre devo menzionare it lavoro che le signore del sottocomitato svolgono durante l'anno non soltanto per la buona riuscita di tutte le manifestazioni boccistiche, ma specialmente per it successo degli incontri amichevoli interstatali com'e avvenuto in occasione delle visite del club Marconi di Sydney e del club di Griffith. Alle signore che durante l'anno hanno offerto it loro contributo disinteressato e generoso alla riuscita di varie attivita promosse, un sincero grazie a nome del sottocomitato. Le vittorie non si contano e fra queste e quelle delle grandi classiche «De Pasquale Omega 2» - oNubrik», Ready mix» e «Il Globo» che sono state dominate in modo assoluto. Nel campionato di qualificazione, i nostri Gatto e Colla si sono assicurati i primi due posti nella «statale» con un margine di punti che mai si era verificato prima di ora, e a loro si sono affiancati i bravissimi M. Velo e E. Pozzer. Nei campionati statali poi i giocatori della State League, hanno fatto cappotto. Infatti la quadretta 6 stata vinta da Velo, Bonin, Polzella e Volpe, a coppie hanno vinto Gatto e Colla e l'individuale M. Velo. In serie A, invece ci siamo lasciati sfuggire it titolo a quadrette, ma ci siamo rifatti con il titolo a coppie per merito di G. Sandona e P. Rigo e l'individuale con A. Medica che ha battuto in finale M. Angeloni. Non possiamo dire altrettanto dei successi nella serie B. Nelle gare valevoli per il titolo abbiamo dovuto accontentarci del cecondo posto conquistato nella gara a coppie, da F. Gentilin e E. Capannolo e di un'altro secondo

In conclusione, i successi sono stati tanti, che nonostante tutta la fiducia che si aveva, hanno oltrepassato le pia rosee previsioni. Con risultati alternativi invece, si sono ripetute le visite del Marconi di Sydney e del club di Griffith, ma questi incontri, pin che per i risultati sportivi, contano per mantenere e consolidare l'amicizia che da lungo tempo lega questi due clubs, a not veneti di Melbourne. Abbiamo avuto it piacere anche di vedere it nostro junior Mark Pozzer i titoli australiani individuale e a coppie, e di vederlo scelto per la Nazionale australiana U.18 che giochera it prossimo luglio in Algeria. Ringrazio sentitamente tutti questi giocatori (ma non solo loro) che si sono distinti tenendo alto it nome ed it prestigio del club e sono altrettantograto al sottocomitato femminile che tanto si e prodigato in tutte le occasioni, ed it mio sottocomitato che, senza la loro disinteressata collaborazione, certamente non si sarebbe riusciti ad ottenere i risultati che abbiamo ottenuto. Un particolare riconoscimento al comitato del club ed al presidente Rino Tessarotto, per to continua collaborazione e la fiducia che ci ha accordato. RAPPORTO DEL SOTTOCOMITATO TENNIS PER L'ANNO 1986-1987 Ci accingiamo a chiudere I'anno 1986/87, per iniziarne uno nuovo, che ci auguriamo sia altrettanto proficuo per tutu i soci. Prima di archiviare I'anno appena concluso, vorremmo riepilogare i meriti e demeriti di questo comitato che sta per mettersi da parte per far posto a quello che sara eletto per it 1987-1988. I Round Robins organizzati durante 1'anno sono sempre stati di gran successo ed hanno richiamato numerosi partecipanti. Uno che merita essere menzionato e quello svoltosi in febbraio e sponsorizzato dalla Mario Jewellers, dove quasi 60 giocatori vi hanno preso parte. Anche it picnic annuale, organizzato dal sottocomitato tennistico, a riuscito come meglio non poteva essere. Come 1'anno scorso, pure quest'anno non si e dovuto andare motto distante per trovare it posto ideale: 11 Veneto Social Club. In gennaio, durante ('Australia Day long weekend, ha avuto luogo 1'ormai tradizionale incontro tennistico con la squadra del Marconi di Sydney. Questa volta era it turno della nostra squadra di ospitare quella di Sydney per la Coppa Banca Nazionale del Lavoro. Lo ha fatto con bravura, in campo da gioco, perche ha vinto, pareggiando '1-1) la sfida (che si concludera quando una delle 2 squadre l'avra vinta 3 volte) e fuori dai campi da gioco, perche ha fatto di tutto per far si che gli ospiti si sentissero a loro agio. Durante it mese di marzo e ormai tradizione che debba esserci in Dinner Dance annuale e come tutti gli

anni, anche questa volta e risultato riuscitissimo. La cucina, come al solito, a stata delle migliori; l'orchestra ha suonato con bravura professionale pezzi per i giovani ed anche pezzi che hanno fatto ricordare agli alquando loro erano giovani. tri Nei mesi di luglio e dicembre ci sono state due Presentation Nights ed i presenti non erano soltanto quelli che dovevano ritirare it trofeo vinto in qualche torneo, ma anche quelli che volevano congratularsi con i vincitori e trascorrere qualche ora in compagnia. Sono stati assegnati i titoli di oCampione di Tennis del Veneto Social Club» per tutte le categorie. Quelle pia importanti sono naturalmente it «singolo maschile» ed it «singolo femminile», vinti rispettivamente da Robert Angele, riconfermato campione e Barbara Blasina, alla sua prima vittoria. Bravi entrambi, come pure i vincitori delle altre categorie. Fra questi a it caso di elogiare quella del doppio maschile composta dalla giovanissima coppia Simon Negrelli e Marc Bassora. Dopo aver vinto it titolo dei juniors, si son presi it lusso di batter i piti quotati Robert Angele e Maurice Bruni, e vincere it titolo di campioni del club. I progetti per it futuro sono diversi, ma quelli che verranno portati a termine prima saranno senza dubbio: Tifluminazione dei 2 campi da tennis «Court 3 e Court 4), lavori gia avviati e la tettoia (tennis shelter) per la quale e gia stato interpellato 1'architetto Erminio Smrekar per un'abbozzo e speriamo che quando questo sara fatto e presentato al Main Committee, verra accettato, cosi si potra procedere ed iniziare i lavori. Dal Direttore Sportivo Silvano Zanta E' trascorso un anno da quando ho assunto l'incarico di direttore sportivo. Ho fatto del mio meglio affinche i vari eventi sportivi che hanno avuto luogo nella cede del nostro Club fossero ben preparati, svolti con serieta e agonismo per soddisfare it pubblico e gli atleti delle diverse discipline sportive. Amo lo sport e ringrazio it presidente del Club, Rino Tessarotto, per avermi assegnato un compito gradito e piacevole. Ho dato it meglio di me stesso, delle mie capacita organizzative e spero d'aver soddisfatto gli obblighi spettanti alla mia carica. Devo peril aggiungere che non avrei potuto da solo portare a termine la mole di lavoro che comports la direzione sportiva di un sodalizio cosi ricco di attivita se non fossi stato coadiuvato dai responsabili dei vari sottocomitati sportivi. E sento perci6 it dovere di ringraziare i vari gruppi e le persone che mi hanno dato una mano efficiente: Terry Maiorino per l'organizzazione dello Spring Carnival, Elvira D'Adam per gli incontri di calcio, Sofia Dal Castello per la sezione Tennis, Elisa Bettiol per il Basketball, Tina Sanelli per il Netball, Umberto Caneva per lo Squash. Netball Report Since having started our first netball season for the year we find the Veneto netball teams doing quite well. The teams have reduced in numbers since last year, leaving us with only two. However, we hope that the numbers will grow again in the near future. Both teams have been playing since February and are now nearing the end of their first season. At this point, our junior team are increasingly improving with every game after having battled through the first half of the year. With the enthusiasm these girls have, they're sure to do quite well next season. Our senior team, on the other hand, have continued to show their abilities by reigning the top of their ladder all season, and getting into the finals once again. I'd like to wish both teams the best of luck for the rest of the season. As of next season I will be introducing a «new look» to the Veneto netball which I hope will be quite successful. I will be starting up a «mixed» netball team which over the past couple of years has had widespread recognition and is turning into a fairly popular sport. The male response I've had to my enquiries has been overwhelming, and to add to my excitement, the Veneto Club are the first Italian club that I know of to have a «mixed» netball team. If this does as well as I anticipate it will, I will be looking to eventually introduce mixed netball to the Spring Sports Carnival. Until then I will continue to keep you all informed with the teams progress once they start their competition in July. To conclude my report, I would just like to add that overall netball is doing well and will continue to do so. Tina Sanelli.

Basketball - V.S.C.

We are currently halfway through our Winter Season and the first finals are commencing. Unfortunately we didn't make the finals as we are currently 7th on the ladder but hope the next half we can better our position with our persistance and training. As you are probably aware, the Basketball Team doesn't train at the club but are now training at an indoor court at Bellvue Primary School. Veneto Youth Committee Report Over the past couple of months, attendances at our disco's have been quite high, which I hope will remain this way. Many people have started to «return» to the Club, after a period of disappearance. One reason for the increase in attendances is that with new committee members, we have tried new ideas which have been successful. Our First «Beach Night» Disco was held in December, which attracted a large crowd. Many people dressed in their beach gear, sixties music was played and what a fun night it was for all. In April, this year, we also held another event which we hope will be held every year. That is our «Nerd Night». Yes, it was a night full of nerds. It was great to see so many people turn up like nerds, and go to the trouble of dressing up for the occasion. Nice to see everybody enjoying themselves. I can assure you that quite few disco's from now on will have new attractions. By the way, don't forget our forthcoming attraction: «SNOW PICNIC». This year it will be held on Sunday, 9th August, and we will be going to Mt. Buller. Tickets available from Dario Bonollo on 850 5704. Memberships for 1987 are also available for only $7.00. We do already have quite a few members, however we would like more. Membership forms are available at the desk at all our disco's. The Youth Committee from now on will have a suggestion box at every disco. Remember that we are open to any suggestions you may have, so let us know what you think could be done to improve our disco's or functions. Future disco dates: 20th June, 4th July, 18th July, 1st August.

Circolo Anziani di Bulleen e dintorni Da diversi anni it Veneto Club ospita un gruppo di anziani che svolgono varie attivita di carattere ricreativo e si riuniscono mensilmente per un pranzo familiare in un clima di serena amicizia. Ogni giovedi pomeriggio si ritrovano attorno al tavolo da gioco per una partita a carte o a tombola oppure organizzano incontri di bocce con la partecipazione di bravi boccisti. Occasionalmente gli anziani, effettuano qualche gita turistica in locality del Victoria note per le loro attrazzioni. Sono escursioni adatte per tenersi in forma, conservare vincoli di amicizia e distrarsi un po dalla monotonia della vita quotidiana. Un p6 di turismo e un lusso meritato per chi ha lavorato sodo per tanti anni con onesta ed impegno. Siamo grati al Veneto Club ed al presidente Rino Tessarotto per l'ospitalita che ci accordano e della quale cercheremo sempre d'essere riconoscenti e degni La segretaria

Questo tradizIonale picnic nel periodo delle festivita natalizle e affollato da sod, amid e conoscenti. Quest'anno erano circa 3000 present). Per gli amantl della buona cucina le migliori soddisfazioni sono venute da un abbondante e gustoso barbacue e da una spaghettata ally quale non si poteva proprlo resistere.

Numerosissimi sono stati i partecipanti a questo incontro annuale. In un clima allegro, favorito dall'eccellente menu della serata, ogni tavolata ha dato vita ad un piacevole trattenimento.
