Black History Month Recap The Multi-Cultural Student Union had an event February as they
Celebrating 100 Years of Our Tradition of Faith, Knowledge, Service Since our founding in 1925 as the Nashville Catholic High School for Boys, Father Ryan High School has been grounded in strong ideals that continue to evolve to meet the needs of our community, to live out our mission, and to form lives of excellence in the Catholic tradition. Beginning in September 2024, our 100th year of school, and ending in June 2026, after the graduation of our 100th graduating class, we will celebrate 100 Years of Father Ryan. celebrated Black History Month across campus. HannahMaria Dixie '25, a member of MCSU, and her mother Ericka '91, decorated the bulletin board near the Academic Building with information about Black youth to commemorate the occasion. MCSU also hosted African drummers from the Global Education Center and invited Nashville Metro Councilwoman Zulfat Suara to speak about the iconic history of the Civil Rights movement in Nashville. Furthermore, students in Mrs. Bateman's Theology III class participated in the celebrations by learning about the contributions of Black Catholics to the church. We look forward to seeing our students
