Forte dello spirito di servizio che lo contraddistingue, Fashion lancia da questa stagione un nuovo prodotto: si tratta di Fashion Showroom. Qui mettiamo a disposizione dei nostri lettori, italiani e stranieri, compratori e non, una guida ragionata del ricco e multiforme mondo delle showroom milanesi. Non vi è altra città al mondo che possa esprimere, per numero di brand e spazi espositivi, una gamma commerciale paragonabile. A maggior ragione è necessario fornire agli addetti uno strumento che consenta di navigare con rapidità in questo universo.

Proprio nella fugace era di Internet, in cui post e fash si accavallano a intermittenze sempre più brevi, chi è in grado di fruire di un vademecum funzionale e conciso gode di un notevole vantaggio competitivo. In questo senso il presente inserto si articola in quattro parti. All’inizio si trova un indice alfabetico dei più importanti marchi presenti a Milano, che rimanda a schede dettagliate delle showroom in cui sono in vendita. Segue What’s Hot: il risultato del lavoro di ricerca svolto dalla nostra redazione negli ultimi mesi. Sulla base di segnalazioni, dritte e inchieste abbiamo stilato la lista di quelli che consideriamo i brand di nuovo conio più interessanti della piazza.

Continuiamo con le schede delle showroom monobrand – un must, perché è qui che si concentrano i nomi di prestigio. Per concludere, indichiamo dieci brand scelti da noi nella sezione What’s Hot Paris. Perché per quanto il proprio mondo possa essere vario e vincente, allargare l’orizzonte è d’obbligo.

A buyer’s guide to MilAn Starting this season our magazine launches a new publishing product: Fashion Showroom, the booklet now in your hands. Targeted at fashion buyers and insiders, it is meant to be a structured guide to the manifold world of Milanese showrooms. No city in the world offers as many brands with a similarly vast array of merchandise. It is, therefore, necessary to equip the industry’s visiting professionals with an efficient tool that enables you to quickly navigate this universe. We believe that in the ephemeral age of the internet, where endless posts create ever more noise, who can get his hands on a straightforward, functional guide has a clear competitive advantage. The booklet has thus been divided into four sections. At the beginning you can find a complete index of the most important brands in Milan. It points to detailed profiles with the contact details of the showrooms where these brands are on sale. To follow we present a selection called What’s Hot, which is the result of many months of research performed by our staff. Thanks to in-depth-interviews and inquiries we are now able to bring to your attention a list of fresh names who we believe deserve a real chance of being seen. The effort is completed by a reference to all important monobrand showrooms - a must, as they include the big namesake luxury brands. Last but not least, we included ten brands we deem to be particularly noteworthy in Paris.

Because knowing contemporary fashion travellers as we do, we are fully aware that their minds, though in Milan, are already busy thinking of the next stop ahead.

Il marchio fonde le abilità di talenti diversi tra loro, con in comune la stessa idea di moda: proporre un guardaroba chic, con un tocco trasgressivo e un mix azzeccato di stili diversi. Glamour, sensuale, prende in prestito capi dal guardaroba maschile e ha uno spirito rock.

Oggi il marchio opera con monomarca a Firenze, Londra, Parigi e Tokyo.

Maria de Ambrogio e Stella Tosco sono le menti creative del brand Serienumerica.

La linea nasce nel 2009 e da allora le due designer creano collezioni di maglieria e accessori in pelle, made in Italy, che abbinano tecniche tradizionali a nuove tecnologie sperimentali. Un esempio? L'utilizzo di tinture speciali e la saldatura a caldo.

Tek è un innovativo progetto dell'agenzia londinese New Future Graphic, di Timothy Everest and Eley Kishimoto. L'idea è quella di unire in unico prodotto stampa, sartoria e design. Le camicie della collezione, su cui vengono impresse stampe colorate create appositamente, vengono prodotte seguendo i canoni dell'artigianalità di Brixton.

Serienumerica is a brand launched in 2009 by Maria de Ambrogio and Stella Tosco. The designers create collections of knitwear and leather accessories, all made in Italy, blending traditional techniques with new experimental ones, such as special dyes and hot welding.

Tek is an innovative project launched by Timothy Everest and Eley Kishimoto, owners of the London agency New Future Graphic.

Blending prints, sartorialism and design is the focus of the brand. The shirts, with coloured motifs created ad hoc, are made following the British craftsmanship of Brixton.

Sono tre i fori all'occhiello dell'azienda veneta: Rayne, Alain Tondowski Paris e la licenza per la shoe collection di Missoni. Rayne è nato in Inghilterra nel 1885 ed è sempre stato interpretato da stilisti famosi come Roger Vivier e André Perugia e calzato da attrici famose e da principesse. Oggi,

dopo 20 anni di assenza dal mercato, il brand torna in pista grazie al sodalizio di CDivertiamo con Nicholas Rayne, pronipote del fondatore. Alain Tondowski Paris è frutto della creatività dell'omonimo stilista, che in CDivertiamo ha trovato il partner ideale per una collezione invernale dal mood glam'rock, ispirata alle muse che hanno accompagnato musicisti, song writer e registi dagli anni Sessanta fno alla fne degli anni Novanta. ull’Alzaia del Naviglio Grande sorge ormai da anni una vera e propria culla di designer, Spazio 38: una showroom internazionale formata da tre contenitori creativi, punti d’incontro per i buyer italiani e esteri sensibili alle nuove proposte. Questa stagione Spazio 38 scommette sulla prima passerella di Vivetta, che con la sua collezione autunno-inverno 2015/2016 sarà ospite di Giorgio Armani durante la fashion week di Milano: un brand romantico e ironico, legato ad un’iconografa surrealista e rétro. Dopo il successo di Stella Jean, designer haitiana che ha rivoluzionato lo stile etnico in formato prêt-à-porter, la showroom propone con Coliac di Martina Grasselli, artefce delle derby gioiello, scarpe e accessori-scultura. Già dalla seconda stagione Spazio 38 sfda il mercato con il fenomeno mediatico di Alessandro Enriquez e della sua irriverente e “italianissima” 10x10 Anitaliantheory, che in pochi mesi ha conquistato gli store più ambiti, grazie a una maglieria “illustrata” e alle stampe vivaci, legate al mondo del food. el Quadrilatero della moda, proprio dietro piazza San Babila, c'è uno spazio che si connota per i marchi di pregio, declinati in materiali di qualità e dai dettagli particolari, oltre che per le competenze e l'attività di consulenza del suo staff. È la showroom AM MB, una realtà giovane, perché nata soltanto nel 2010, ma che può avvantaggiarsi dell'esperienza trentennale dei fondatori, nel settore abbigliamento.

Una delle label di punta è l'americana Psycho Bunny, sinonimo di look essenziale, senza tempo, grazie alla

fusione tra raffnata sartoria inglese e design americano audace. Ma ci sono anche brand come Handstich, Andrea Ventura, Andrea Monteverdi, Marco Pescarolo, Finamore e L’Atelier. Non ultime le calzature austriache Zonkey Boot, nate nel 2010, che scelgono il minimalismo nelle decorazioni per focalizzarsi sulla forma, i materiali e la durata. Una ricetta all'apparenza semplice ma che necessita, per una buona riuscita, di una grande dose di artigianalità.
