Welcome to at July Farmville Public Library

Farmville Public Library would like to announce the opening of our new pollinator garden!

The garden is located on the north side of the building in what was formally known as the “grassy hill”. The garden is home to native Carolina pollinator plants and will provide a habitat for birds, butterflies, bees, and other pollinators. The plants that were chosen should provide beauty year-round.

The Library has partnered with Carolina Seasons, the Community Garden, and Scout Troop 25 to create this lovely space. Special thanks go to Zac Hackney! The garden would not exist without all of his hard work and gardening insights.

We will be having a grand opening celebration in August!
