Welcome to the 2023 Farm Science Review!

An educational program of The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES)

On behalf of all of us at The Ohio State University, I welcome you to the 61st annual Farm Science Review (FSR) at the Molly Caren Agricultural Center, brought to you by The Ohio State University College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences (CFAES). Our staff and many contributors to the event are excited to share ideas, services, and equipment for you to improve your agricultural business – covering areas of livestock, grain, fruits, vegetables, and much more.

Among the traditional field demonstrations, the Ag Innovations area continues to evolve to showcase the latest technology in the industry and the research being conducted by CFAES. The Slow-Moving Vehicle (SMV) emblem is celebrating 60 years and Farm Credit MidAmerica is sponsoring Ag Safety Education to remind us about road safety with farm equipment and the use of the SMV emblem.

In 2022, we welcomed 114,589 visitors during the three-day event, with 7,000 of them being youth attendees, and we offered over 112 educational presentations from CFAES experts.

Farm Science Review is a critical component of our land-grant mission at The Ohio State University to provide research-based information and practical education to the people of Ohio and beyond. Thank you to our many partners who help make Farm Science Review a success.

Best wishes,

Cathann A. Kress Vice President for Agricultural Administration and Dean of the College of Food, Agricultural, and Environmental Sciences
