New Art Installations on West Side Art tRail

CITY OF FARMERS BRANCH, TEXAS Sustainable Savings

The City’s West Side Art Trail will soon be enriched with three captivating new art installations. Following a call for artists from across the state and a selection process administered by the Farmers Branch Arts & Culture Committee, three Texas artists were chosen from a pool of nine, based on their outstanding submissions. The selected pieces will be both family-friendly and interactive, designed to withstand the test of time while guaranteeing safety. In addition to the art installations, the new exhibit will include solar lighting, landscaping and plaques.
The West Side Art Trail is located west of I-35, near the southeast area of Landon Lake and Mercer Parkway. For more information about the project, and to view a map of the West Side Art Trail, visit farmersbranchtx.gov/artsandculture.
