GRADE-LEVEL
Parent Coffees
Throughout the months of September and October, the Far Hills Administration, Parents Committee, and Board of Trustees hosted Grade Level Coffees. These coffees allow our community to connect with friends, chat with the Head of School and Leadership Team members, meet new families, and celebrate the beginning of the Far Hills Country Day School school year.

Pc Afterparties
New this year are PC After-Parties, giving parents who attend Parents Committee meetings the chance to experience Far Hills student life first-hand. Joy was in the air (literally) as parents experienced a gorgeous morning out on the Ropes Course during the first PC-After Party held on October 12, 2022. On November 2, 2022, parents went into the new state-of-the-art Learning Commons for a hands-on STEAM lesson and activity.

Golf Classic
On October 24, 2022, we hosted our annual Golf Classic at Hamilton Farm Golf Club! Rain or shine, nothing can stop our community from having a good time. Participants started the day with breakfast and then played the new Hickory Course. The day continued with lunch and practice for those playing the Highlands Course. The evening ended with cocktails, dinner, awards, and an auction. Thank you to all those that played, attended dinner, donated, and volunteered. It wouldn’t have been a hole-in-one event without you!

Fall Athletics

Far Hills Country Day School’s Cross Country, CrossFit, Field Hockey, Soccer, and Tennis teams showed up this fall! Teamwork, motivation, passion, discipline, and commitment were evident as our students took to the fields, courts, courses, and gym. They set an example for the entire school as they demonstrated our 5 Pillars: Respect, Responsibility, Leadership, Honesty, and Kindness.

GIGGLES, GRANDPARENTS, SPECIAL FRIENDS, AND BOOKS GALORE!
November 1–4, 2022, we were very excited to welcome back Grandparent and Special Friend's Reading Week at Far Hills for Preschool, Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students! What a special time for some of our student's loved ones to see their classroom, meet their classmates and teacher, and read a specially picked out story for the class. Our halls were filled with so much extra love. Thank you to all our grandparents and special friends that took time out of their day to come and and read a story to the class. And a special thank you to all of our volunteers that helped direct our special guests. We couldn’t have done it without you!

FOOD, FUN, AND BASKETBALL!
On Tuesday, November 22, 2022, Far Hills continued its tradition of inviting high school alumni back to campus to reconnect with one another and their teachers. This year, we opened up the Athletic Center for some spirited—but friendly— competition, inspired by our beloved Upper School 3v3 basketball tournament. While our alum didn’t get dressed in costumes like they did when they were students (maybe next year!), they enjoyed shooting around, catching up, and seeing all of the exciting changes that have taken place since they walked our halls. Thank you to all of the alum who joined us!
