Sid, the seed power point

Cultural Week Colegio “La Encarnación” 2015/16

Sid is a small seed.

He likes to be always at home.

He doesn’t like to go out because he is always afraid of everything.

Sid lives with a spider, called Pip and a caterpillar, called Kim.

One day, Pip, the spider makes a balloon because he wants to know how the world is outside.

Sid and Kim, the caterpillar, say goodbye to Pip and they wish all the best to him; but they decide to stay at home. They are not ready to leave home.

One night, Sid wakes up because of a nightmare and he sees a strange cocoon.

Suddenly, it starts to crack and it breaks.

Kim is now a beautiful butterfly. She also wants to know how the outside world is, so she flies away.

Sid is sad because he is alone now.

Sid misses his friends. He feels alone. So he thinks about what his friends have done. Suddenly, he decides to change his life and he starts to prepare his journey.

Drink after drink, cup after cup. He follows drinking water every day.

Sid starts to grow thanks to the rays of the sun and the summer hot.

Suddenly, he begins rising out of his hole.

Soon he is outside with the warm wind blowing. He can’t stop growing.

Sid is now a beautiful tree. He is very happy.

He is looking every way.

“Welcome Sid to your new life”, say Pip, the spider and Kim, the caterpillar.

Now Sid is outside, he enjoys the fresh air, the sun and the view.

He is now a new house for his friends.
