Despro Sol Color

Despro Sol Incoloro

Product Properties Despro Sol is an alcohol solution formulated with 10g of Chlorhexidine Digluconate at 20% concentration, equivalent to 2% pure Chlorhexidine Digluconate, indicated for skin antisepsis for multiple applications. Due to its alcohol-based composition, it is particularly indicated for skin antisepsis in the surgical field, at the insertion point for lines, trocars, catheters, etc.

The combination of isopropanol, with a fast antimicrobial effect, together with chlorhexidine, with a residual effect, allows for obtaining a safe and complete product that, for example, avoids the development of bacteria under the incision layers in prolonged surgical interventions.

Despro Sol® has neutral pH and extremely good dermal tolerance. It has been dermatologically tested proving it causes no skin alterations or adverse reactions.

Areas of Application Indicated for general skin antisepsis before surgical interventions.

Skin preparation for intra articular injections, cannulations, punctures and arthroscopies.

For skin preparation before taking blood samples (hemoculture).

Easy to use, as a spray and with a safety sealed top in the 75 and 250ml containers, and dripper in the 1l and 60ml containers (Despro Sol Color® ).

Precautions

Despro Sol® is the perfect microbiocide, with bactericidal (inc. TB), fungicidal and virus inactivator (inc. lipophilic ones: HIV, HBV, etc.) activity.

As in the case of any other alcohol based product, wait for the skin to be totally dry before using any electrical apparatus.

Do not use under ischemia cuffs.

Its use in neurosurgery or otology is ill-advised as its composition includes chlorhexidine.

Despro Sol® has two versions: coloured and colourless solutions. The coloured solution has proven to be suitable for the skin.

Scope of Activity Surgical antisepsis according to standard UNE-EN 12791.

Bactericide according to standards UNE-EN 12791 and UNE-EN12054.

Fungicide according to standard UNE-EN 1650.

Despro Sept color

Product Properties Despro Sol is an alcohol solution formulated with 10g of Chlorhexidine Digluconate at 20% concentration, equivalent to 2% pure Chlorhexidine Digluconate, indicated for skin antisepsis. Due to its aqueous-based composition, it is particularly indicated for antisepsis in childbirth.

Despro Sept速 provides extremely good dermal tolerance, having been dermatologically tested and proving it causes no skin alterations or adverse reactions. pH 5.5.

Easy to use, its 60ml format is ideal for hospital trolleys.

Areas of Application Indicated for antisepsis in the surgical and childbirth fields.

Insertion points for cannulas, catheters, trocars and their maintenance.

With its 60ml format, it is particularly suitable for use in isolation rooms, where the container must be discarded at the time of patient discharge

Despro Scrub

Product Properties Despro Scrub® soap is formulated with 20g of Chlorhexidine Digluconate at 20% concentration, equivalent to 4% pure Chlorhexidine Digluconate (as opposed to the majority of products in the market using 4g dilution previous to the 20%), indicated for skin wash and antisepsis in general.

The great advantage of using Despro Scrub® Antiseptic Soap is the possibility of performing general hand and skin antisepsis using a highly compatible soap, thanks to its acid 5.5 pH that preserves the acid mantle of the skin.

Scope of Activity It complies with the requirements of European Regulations EN 12791.

Areas of Application It favours the hygiene process without being aggressive to the dermis due to its low “foamer” content.

Indicated for surgical hand cleaning and antiseptic washing of the skin in all patient care areas, in particular regarding patients isolated due to multi-resistant germs. Its single dose format allows for an optimal use in rooms for isolated patients.

In functional areas (ICU, infectious diseases, isolation units, etc.)

Bath Gel

Product Properties Special, dermo-compatible gel for washing the body and hands with all types of healthy skin.

As a result of its special formulation and its pH of 5.5, it does not damage the acid mantle of the skin, thus preserving its smoothness and hydration."

Due to its low foamer concentration it produces little foam favouring faster rinsing for its elimination and, therefore, lower aggression to the dermis caused by superfluous foamer agents, with a reduction in the amount of water required, together with energy and money savings.

Particularly indicated for hygienic hand washing before using alcohol-based solutions during everyday care activities. It is recommended hands are washed at lukewarm temperature, neither cold nor hot.

Hygienic and ergonomic in its use thanks to its dispensing valve, avoiding the product from being handled and left open.

Particularly indicated for delicate and stressed skins. Fast absorption without leaving oily remains.

It maintains the physiological balance of the skin, providing its natural softness and flexibility, while conferring a pleasant fresh sensation after being applied.

Applications A body lotion that hydrates and regenerates the skin, contributing towards maintaining it elastic, smooth and soft. As a result of its studied formulation and its pH of 5.5, similar to that of healthy skin, it helps in stabilising and preserving the acid mantle, in turn increasing its hydration, elasticity and softness.
