SEPTEMBER IS THE INTERNATIONAL MONTH FOR DEAF PEOPLE IN COMMEMORATION OF THE FIRST WORLD CONGRESS OF THE WORLD FEDERATION OF THE DEAF WHICH TOOK PLACE IN SEPTEMBER 1951.
