Your commitment to the team, both on and off the field, has been truly inspiring. From organizing fundraisers to cheering on the players during games, your enthusiasm and tireless efforts have played a significant role in creating a positive and thriving environment for our baseball program.

Thanks to your generosity, we were able to provide essential equipment, uniforms, and facilities improvements that enhanced the overall experience for our players. Your contributions have not only helped develop their skills but have also instilled in them the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

We would also like to extend our gratitude to the coaches, trainers, and all the volunteers who have dedicated their time and expertise to ensure the success of our baseball program. Your commitment to nurturing our athletes and fostering their growth is truly commendable.

As the season comes to a close, we look back on the memories we’ve created together – the victories, the challenges, and the camaraderie. COACHES

A Diamond of Gratitude- In the heart of Pittsford, where the grass meets the sky, the Mendon Vikings Baseball team thrives. Their journey on the diamond is woven with dedication, camaraderie, and the unwavering support of their coaches.

The First Pitch- Head Coach Shaun Caveny, with his epic sneakers a playbook etched in wisdom, stepped onto the field. He taught us more than mechanics he taught us resilience. Through rain-soaked practices and sun-drenched games, he stood tall, reminding us that every pitch was a chance to rewrite our story.

The Infield Magic- Varsity Coach Mike Zollweg, the magician of the infield, spun double plays like silk. His eyes twinkled as he whispered secrets to the shortstop, turning routine grounders into art. We owe him our pitching magic and when to call our curve ball.

The Bat Whisperer-Varsity Coach Rich Morelle, the bat whisperer, knew the language of wood and leather. He’d adjust our stances, tweak our swings, and ignite our bats with purpose. His pre-game pep talks were like lightning bolts, charging us with confidence. “Hit a line drive,” he’d say, and we did.

The Seventh-Inning Rally- Junior Varsity Coach Dumee, Modified Coaches Perrone and Miller never lost their faith.

The Victory Lap- As the season winds down, we circle the bases one last time. The coaches stand at home plate, applause echoing across the field. Their sacrifice late nights, missed family dinners, and endless encouragement—has shaped us beyond the diamond.

Epilogue: A Grateful Swing- So here’s to you, Coach Caveny, Coach Zollweg, Coach Dumee, Coach Miller and Coach Perrone. You’ve molded us into more than ballplayers. You’ve taught us life’s curveballs, the power of teamwork, and the joy of swinging for the fences.

As we step off the field, we carry your legacy—a diamond of gratitude—forever etched in our hearts.
