TESTIMONIAL: STONERISE HOME HEALTH TEAM MEMBER

My 5-year-old son has Chiari Malformation. In April we found out it was cutting off the flow of spinal fluid to the rest of his body which then caused him to have scoliosis In order to fix this, they had to perform a surgery to decompress his brain, and it all happened very quickly after that. Which resulted in what would’ve been an unpaid leave from work As a single mom these situations are daunting and stressful I already had so much on my plate.

We all know financials only add to that stress unfortunately, but I was lucky enough to receive a check from CommuniCare Cares. This took a HUGE weight off my shoulders in the midst of everything else. I can’t thank everyone enough for this. It truly is such an amazing program. We unfortunately never know what life is going to throw at us and this program is truly a life saver when those life changing events roll around.

TESTIMONIAL: TERESA S.

I couldn’t have been more touched and appreciative for the help CommuniCare Cares did for me. I lost my son to a tragic accident. My husband and I were not prepared for that call. It was a shock, and I was devastated. I did not know what I was going to do about arrangements for him or taking off of that much work. I had only worked for CommuniCare for almost a year, and I didn’t have much leave time.

My office manager Chad came to me and was so sympathetic and helpful. He told me about CommuniCare Cares I donate each paycheck to this program and just really never thought much about it He mentioned the program again and asked if it was ok that he put my name in to be helped. Of course, I said yes that it would be a great help. CommuniCare Cares helped me in my time of need. They helped with some expenses that were so overwhelming for my husband and I. It was a relief for the help. I can’t say thank you enough. I was so grateful.

This program is a great way to help those in need. We work in a place that cares enough to help their employees and their residents. If you are able to donate each paycheck, or just a one-time donation anything would help Please do! There are so many programs out there that help people, but CommuniCare Cares helps us!

Celebrating Our Veterans

FLIGHTLESS HONOR FLIGHT: JUNE 8, 2025

On June 8th, the CommuniCare team was proud to host a “Flightless Honor Flight” event for Veterans from the Cincinnati and Dayton areas. Designed for Veterans who are unable to travel to Washington, D.C., this special day recreated the spirit of the traditional Honor Flight experience at home, at our office in Blue Ash, Ohio. It was a day filled with remembrance, gratitude, and celebration. The event brought together Veterans, volunteers, community members, and civic leaders to honor the sacrifices made by the men and women who served our country.

Celebrating Our Veterans

FLIGHTLESS HONOR FLIGHT: JUNE 8, 2025

Upon arrival, Veterans received commemorative t-shirts and name tags, and were escorted to their seats, where light snacks and water were served by our volunteer “flight attendants.” The ceremony began with bagpipers, followed by the national anthem and other patriotic songs performed by the Cincinnati Christian School Assembly Choir. Personal stories and remarks were made from local leaders, including Honor Flight’s Dee Daniels, Blue Ash Mayor Jill Cole, and Founder and Chairman of CommuniCare Family of Companies, Steve Rosedale They all reminded us why we had gathered: to say thank you.
