Hey Grandparents… yes that’s you; Grannie, Grandad, Grandma, Grandpa and Grumps, we know it’s really you who look at this magazine, as you're the ones who have the time, since your grown-up children are often too busy with their little ones. Plus, we can tell from the names of the competition entrants that the Pamelas and the Irenes are from a certain era - although we are pretty sure those names will come around again very soon. Since you are very often the ones picking up the magazine, we thought we would start a new section for you. It’s called ‘Silver Grapevine’, we know you don’t all have silver hair...some of you don’t have any hair at all...but it still seems like a good name. We would like Silver Grapevine to become a regular section, with things that you can do with the grandchildren, but also with things that you can do with your friends. So please do let the advertisers know where you saw the adverts. Times are really tough, and if there aren’t enough adverts to cover the printing and distributing costs of this magazine, then you will just have to use Facebook to find out where to go and what's on...and they change how that works all the time… We have FIVE excellent COMPETITIONS in the autumn/winter issue.
