About Camp Munchkin Sports activity camps offer Ofsted registered childcare during the school holidays for children aged 4-11.

Our camps are jam-packed with sports, arts & crafts and activities that we know will keep your child entertained and wanting to come back for more.

We understand the importance of confidence building and providing children with the opportunity to make new friends and try different activities, so all our camps are designed with social development and skill-building in mind.

Garlic dough ball Christmas tree & wreath

The Cooking Shed is a cookery school and private dining company based in West Wickham offering classes for adults and children. For more recipes, classes, gift vouchers & further information visit www. thecookingshed.com This is a perfect sharing dish to serve at any gathering over the festive season. Simple to make, and delicious to eat. To make a wreath shape, simply double up on the ingredients and pop a baked camembert in the middle studded with smoked garlic…. just because it’s Christmas ;) Be sure to tag @thecookingshed in pics of your creations and cooked trees on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.

Dough ingredients: 280g white bread flour - plus a little extra for flouring the worktop 5g instant yeast 1 tablespoon honey (or count to 2 quickly when squeezing!)

1 large pinch of salt 2 tablespoons olive oil 170ml tepid water Garlic butter ingredients: 40g unsalted butter - left out of the fridge to soften 1 clove garlic (minced) OR 2 teaspoons of garlic paste Small bunch of chives (finely chopped) Instructions: 1.

Add all of the dough ingredients in to a large mixing bowl (keeping the yeast and salt separate) 2.

Use your hand to mix all of the ingredients together then form in to a ball 3.

Lightly flour the work top, then place your ball of dough on to it 4.

Knead the dough for 5-10 minutes until it’s turned in to a smooth play dough like consistency (to knead - push away from you, fold back towards you, then turn it, and repeat) 5.

Once kneaded, place the ball of dough back in to the mixing bowl, cover and leave to rest in a warm place for 30 minutes or until doubled in size 6.

Once the bread has proved (risen), remove it from the bowl and ‘knock back’ the dough by working it again with your hands.

Roll the dough in to a long sausage shape and divide in to 17 portions 8.

Shape 17 of the portions in to small balls, and place on to a baking tray in the shape of a tree with the final two balls cut in to star shapes and resting away from the tree shape.

Cover the tray and leave to prove (rise) for a maximum of 1hr (or once doubled again in size) 10.

Pre-heat the oven to 180c (fan) and place the dough balls uncovered, in to the oven for 14 minutes.

Whilst the dough balls are cooking, make your garlic butter. Place the butter, minced garlic and chopped chives (you could snip these with scissors if easier) in to a small pot and use a fork to mush it all together. Then put in the fridge until ready to serve.

12. Once the dough balls are baked, carefully remove from the baking tray and leave to cool for a few minutes before serving alongside the pot of garlic butter Enjoy!
